We arrived at 7:30pm last night (Thursday). We were quickly seated and drinks brought out ASAP and kept full. The dining room was clean. The food was well stocked. They have exactly what you would expect from a Chinese Buffet, with a few additions. They had crabs broken in 1/4's and fried, they had whole crab as well. There were bacon wrapped shrimp too. The crawfish were actually seasoned (most Chinese buffets have NO seasoning). I asked for butter for crawfish and the waitress quickly got it for me. The sushi choices weren't as massive as some I've seen, but they were full size sushi, not just rice and seaweed with 1 ingredient (as I've seen in some). For $15.99 I think you certainly get your money's worth. It's worth a try. Hope you have the same experience that we did. Just remember, it's a buffet! read more

Last weekend we went there for my friend`s birthday party. Well, after I found out we were going to a Chinese buffet , I really did not give any expectations ( since all the chinese buffet are the same pretty much). we had about 15 people total, and they left a good area for us , the server was a young lady , and she was really nice to us. This place is great. From the parking to the service to the food quality to the price. Constantly refilling the line with fresh food. Great service checking if your're okay not too much but letting you know they are there to help. I LOVE everything i ate. Checked in to eat around 3:15pm was told lunch was $10.99 and because we ate the crawfish and shrimp they put out for dinner at 3:45 we got charged there dinner price because they watch there food. So basically you will get charged base on what you eat. read more

Now the young man has filed a discrimination complaint. It's not the first time owners of the Panda Super Buffet have told someone with a service dog to leave, but veteran Brian Wallis is hoping that it will be the last. In addition to normal commands, Koon helps his owner, Brian Wallis, with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD. "I struggle with anxiety, depression. My mood is always up and down, up and down." he said. Wallis served in the Army National Guard, part of the 39th Military Police Company. He was diagnosed with PTSD last yea. That's when he got Koon. "(He's the) Best thing that's ever happened to me." he said. He brings Koon almost everywhere, and is used to being questioned. "I'll just stop and say, he's a service animal." Wallis said. And according to the Americans with Disabilities Act, that's all Wallis is required to do. But dinner Friday was different. I've dined here multiple times but probably won't ever go back due to cleanliness issues. Everything was good when they first opened and sort of went downhill from there. Here they changed the buffet price to $12.95 because they considered it a seafood buffet. there was crawfish on the buffet after 11:15, but the sign above it said for dinner only..well why would you put a dinner item out at lunch time....so it can sit and spoil! when we left about 12, there still was empty spots on the buffet. Customer service is TERRIBLE!! The female at the front counter is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered as a paying customer and I've never felt so disrespected as a paying customer! We got there during the lunch hours, 3:00 to be exact. They put out crawfish, so my husband got some. They, then, informed us that we would be charged extra. NOWHERE does it say that they're would be an extra charge for seafood. Just a bunch of signs saying "serving Louisiana crawfish". With Covid 19, restaurants have State guidelines to follow. It is the managements responsibility to follow these guidelines and require their customers to follow these guidelines for the safety of all. With that being said, some restaurants are over reacting and taking these guidelines to the extreme. Panda Super Buffet is doing less than the minimum requirements. The sign states masks are required, body temperatures will be taken (thermometer was not working right or the 2 people I saw use it was at 36.4), and you need to use hand sanitizer each time you go to the buffet. Nobody enforced any of this. Wearing face mask at a minimum in the buffet area was not enforced. Hand sanitizer was not being used. There were empty boxes of latex gloves available. There was a boy scooping boiled shrimp with a tongs and his bare hands. Kids using their bare hands taking cones out of a box for ice cream. I don't believe I'm overreacting by asking management here to have an employee assigned only to the buffet area requiring customers to put their mask on and use hand sanitizer or get out. Cleaning the buffet area should be a priority and sanitizer used on the tables after each customer leaves (was not being done). You never know when an undercover State inspector is going to stop by...just saying. read more
