Horrible first off. One star for won ton soup, Which only had 3 dumplings. A rip off. I Ordered door dash at this location, not sure how it got 4 stars. Definitely this is a lie that it's 4 star quality, deceiving the star count. The food came and was so over cooked, I mean burned and hard to chew. The sauce was brown black for orange chicken, and was like if you're chewing beef jerky. The "fried Rice" was not even fried rice, it was steam rice with soy sauce rice sautéed and overcooked nasty no flavor! I was shocked no veggies or egg in the rice. The egg rolls we didn't even eat! They are burned and over cooked and the crab puffs chewy and over cooked. Like they used the same oil again and again. I would never go here again. I asked for the manager to reach out today, and left a messaged yesterday and never heard anything. Bad customer service as well. I do not recommend this place for Chinese food. They do not believe in quality or calling people back when making a mistake. The chief really didn't care about giving quality food to public. I will never come back. Our family lunch stop when visiting Lake Charles area. Always good food and friendly staff.

This is my favorite lunchtime spot. For lunch, I enjoy the House Noodles. The House Noodles contain chicken, pork shrimp, and beef. Top them off with egg rolls or crab ragoons and you an ideal lunch. Also, service is quick so that you aren't spending your entire lunch break waiting for your lunch to be served. Check them out. read more

Don't get me wrong the food gets four and a half stars but the presentation was so bizarre could only give 3 . We ate here a few months ago and everything was normal. This time we missed the big sign upon entering. (See Photo), sat down and waited for a server. First we got water in styro cups with lids and plastic disposable straws. After waiting a few minutes we asked if someone was going to take our order. Nope! We have to get up, walk to the take out desk and place our order- to eat in the dining room! Then we get served in plastic single use disposable dishes but with stainless steel forks and spoons!?! So no option of eating on real plates. That takes the enjoyment out of eating in a dining room. Won't be back until this policy is reversed, no matter how good the food. read more

Did not enjoy this establishment at all. We ordered two plates of general tsos to be delivered to our room at lauberge. The egg roll was good and the cookie was good. The main entree of chicken and fried rice was absolutely terrible. The sauce was too thick and had a burn taste to it. The meat pieces were giant and fatty tasting. The fried rice was a joke. Sorry but my family will likely not eat here again next time we visit lake Charles. read more

We are traveling home during the COVID 19 pandemic. Stayed in Lake Charles because it is a small town. It is Sunday evening so some of the restaurants that are offering take out are closed today. We decided to try JoJo's and we are glad we did. Everyone was helpful and professional. Wr borrowed a menu and ordered while in the parking lot. Our food was ready in 10 minutes. I ordered the #M5 house special lo mein. Yummmm it has beef, chicken and shrimp. Lots of each. The picture was taken after i ate and hubby had some too. Hubby ordered H1 seafood special, it was very tasty and came with fried rice. We also shared A8 steamed dumplings. There were six and they were big very tasty. Our food came out really hot and we were stuffed and had leftover for breakfast. We will be back and definitely recommend this great restaurant read more

Ok. Third strike. No brown rice 3 visits in a row. Went there last night and placed our usual order with brown rice and was told they were out. Again. Asked what the problem was and were told that they ran out. I asked why they don't make more and told that they didn't want to waste any leftover. I asked them if they had a refrigerator to keep it overnight and warm it the next day. The waiter acted like he didn't understand English. At that we canceled our order and left. Absolutely no excuse for not having something that important. Especially if they know they constantly run out. I have a rice cooker that can do 10 cups of brown rice in 35 minutes. Anyway we will go to a Chinese restaurant that has what we want. The 1 Star is for the iced tea. read more
