I think they're hot and sour soup has a good taste, but there's nothing in it. It just seemed like it was lacking of any meat or any of the normal things you find in hot and sour soup. It didn't taste bad. It just wasn't very satisfying. The service here is really excellent. The people are really really super nice. If I was travel along the highway and stopped in I wouldn't mind the food. I think that it would be OK but it's not a four or five star Chinese buffet

I ordered 4 sushi rolls and each one was absolutely delicious. The appearance of my rolls were quite nice and the taste of my sushi was the best I've had since moving to Kentucky. I can't speak for the grill items in the menu, but I will say the sushi is well worth the 50 drive to Somerset. It took them 25 minutes to make my order and I think that was very reasonable. Coming back for more says it all and I do plan to be back for more, without a doubt. It was very tasty and filling. Well done guys!

I ordered chicken fried rice and the rice was good with an abundance of green and white onions , sadly there was little to no flavor ,chicken was skinny strips and then they put in a sauce container I guess for the chicken it tasted like chick fil a sauce . Good news was the rice wasn't drowning in oil . Very disappointed that there was no soy sauce in the Togo bag . Would be nice if they stir fried it with some spice selections for the price they charged $12.00 plus tax . I don't know if I'd go back again not impressed at all

I'm not of Indian descent, but I have lived in many places in the world and visited many Indian restaurants. Amrit Cuisine's selection must offer every cuisine known in India. There must be at least 50 items on the menu! They offer catering, which seems to be their staple, as the place seems like it's always empty despite the excellent service and delicious food. Finally, If nothing else, stop by for their Mango Lassi (Google it). It is awesome! I didn't realize that I had this review in my draft box. We live about 90 minutes away and haven't visited in a couple of years (2024). Time flies, doesn't it? Anyway, I can say at that time I would say we highly recommend. We were so excited to have a restaurant that wasn't Mexican, Chinese, or fast food. Obviously, we don't go out much as both of us are good cooks, and eating out is a special occasion for us. Looking at other reviews, it seems most of the reviews in 2025 haven't been very good, but I would be willing to give it another try just because of the cuisine. My wife and I are optimistic that it is still a choice away from burritos, burgers, and Kung Pao.

When I arrived, I was greeted by the cook. After looking over the menu I decided on the escovitch fish. I was informed that due to the location and feedback from the locals, that the fish be catfish, and the oxtails are sold de-boned. What in the world?!?! I was shocked and disappointed but then realized, you have to cater to your guests in order to stay in business. I proceeded to order the fish with cabbage and plantains. They were out of mac and cheese and veggie patties. I think they order the patties from Golden Krust; because he stated that lately they've been getting spinach patties vs veggie patties when they've been ordering them. I was completely ready to be disappointed by my food. This didn't look like escovitch fish that I've seen before. Where was the sauce? But I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The fish was cooked perfectly and the veggies were seasoned spot on. Overall, I was very pleased. The price, portion and taste were all splendid. I will definitely return while in the area.
