The office staff was polite and helpful by phone, offering a veterans discount and an estimate based on Google street view and satellite images. The next day two trucks with four guys showed up and swarmed the house cleaning and tightening up all the gutters, bagging everything, blowing off the driveway and sidewalks; leaving not a leaf behind. They exceeded my expectations in a friendly professional manner performing an amazing job for a very reasonable price. I will keep their number on speed dial and share it with family and friends. Could not have asked for a better job or a fairer price. Nice work!

The Upstate Roof Cleaning was…read morecompelling with before/after photos, promising to remove all of the moss, etc from the roof, and great reviews. The team came out in early September - they were on time, courteous, worked well together, and were obviously competent with what they do. They took a long time to rinse the cleaning solution from the roof and nearby plants (so much water that the soils were completely saturated which was a bit concerning). After cleaning the roof, the algae were gone, but the moss and lichens, while apparently dead, remained on the roof. I asked the team about this and they told me that these areas of dead algae and moss should be washed off in the next 2 weeks by rain and wind. After a month, lichen and moss all remained. I called the company and was told that this could take months so that "Mother Nature" could remove the debris. It is now over 2 months and my roof is not clean. The company was supposed to come (as a favor, they implied) to try to brush or blow the debris off at end of October/early November; rescheduled 3 times and there is now snow. I have requested a 50% refund as I will need to hire another company to come out to brush off the roof next year. Upstate Roof Cleaning will not provide any refund even in light of their failure to provide the results promised in their advertising. They now deny that their crew could possibly have said that it would take 2 weeks and debris would be gone (but they did tell me this immediately after the cleaning when I saw so much debris remaining on significant sections of the roof in the front of the house). I believe that their advertising is misleading -- they do not advertise a 2 step process where "Mother Nature" is a required partner in cleaning the moss/lichens off the roof. See the advertisement on this page which does not mention a longer period of time spanning months for dead debris to come off of the roof. My review -- this company does a good job with algae with a gentle process that includes no scrubbing, brushing or high intensity jets of water. If you have lichens and moss, these may not come off of your roof any time soon after cleaning, if at all. In addition, their custom solution killed leaves on plants in our gardens near the roofline. I lost a lilac, vegetables in a nearby garden, and flower buds/leaves on hydrangea bushes in early September, just as the flowers were blooming. Most of our plants had dead leaves on tops and dying flowers within a week. If you use this company, you will want to cover any and all plants near the house. The company said that plants should be safe under areas of roof with gutters. This was not true in our case as the solution is very toxic to plants.

Our house is 40 years old. We never had the heating ducts cleaned and earlier this year I did a…read moreconstruction project in my basement that included drywall and drywall dust. I figured it was time. I spoke to Rick Drexler on the phone and he explained the whole process, and we scheduled a date a few weeks out to have them come and clean the ducts. The three man crew showed up at 9 AM and were very courteous - they all introduced themselves by name which is nice if you're going to have a crew in your house for 3 to 4 hours. Emilio was the foreman, but they were all nice and helpful explaining what they were doing as they go through your whole house. We all did a walk-through of the house from the second floor down to the basement. Counted all the ducts -intake and outtake. Then they brought in the equipment, a big vacuum that goes down in the basement that sucks up all the dust and debris. They make a few holes in your heat runs and cold air intake runs in the basement. That's where they insert their vacuum. They seal up these holes afterwards. They basically put a blue sticky film over all of the ducts in the house and then blow down from the second floor everything down to the basement. Then they use the vacuum in the basement to clean everything out your main runs. While they were here, I asked if they could also clean my dryer vent duct. They did and you'll see the results of that too. The pictures I've attached were some that I took and a couple that they took to show the before and after of the duct work. They sprayed a "fogger" spray in each vent to help prevent dust and bad stuff from accumulating for a few years. All told - it took three hours from start to finish and we are very pleased with the outcome. As I said it's been 40 years for this house so it was way overdue! They also do other services such as mold remediation, carpet or tile grout cleaning, and remediating water damage. They did a great job and I would highly recommend Jet Dry to do work in your home!

I got a basic one time cleaning, which was two hours of the cleaner's time. I told her to start with/focus on the bathroom and kitchen, and she spent most of her time in the bathroom.
