Absolutely horrendous treatment by the team supervisor. One of his movers was allowed to use the…read morerestroom which resulted in his urine flooding all over my bathroom floor. When the supervisor heard that I was on the phone with his boss he came out hot headed and threatened to throw my property out in the street. When I pointed out he'd just be paying for it because it's insured in the contract I signed with them. He then stormed off and had to have his boss call him to tell him to get back inside to do his job. This kind of blatant disrespect towards a client is unacceptable by any means. Not only did I never raise my voice or swear at him, he actually interrupted a conversation I was already having with my assisted living caseworker to throw this tantrum. I explained that it's common courtesy to clean up any mess you make and that if I had caused the mess I'd go to a dollar store for a mop and clean my urine off his floor. Apparently that's worth quitting and voiding a contract over, and threatening the private property of a client. Great job Ken, keep making your company look good. Honestly, if this is how they move a disabled person assisted by SLP out of HUD housing it's astounding to me they have a positive rating. I imagine it's the labor put in. They took several larger pieces in one go which sped things up. -Disregard owner reply. Literally nobody offered to clean the mess. I was told that they don't carry shammies or towels or mops and Ken explicitly said they would not return to clean the mess, after the super on the phone said the same exact thing. Do not believe the owner replies for a moment, I am the one who had to go get a mop and return to the previous property to clean it. The only reason I did it, is because if I didn't my caseworker would have had to. It's one thing to make a mess and then threaten the client and throw an actual storm-off tantrum, it's another to go into yelp and try to lie about what happened. Even worse every party involved mutually agreed that if you got urine all over someone's floor, accident or not, it's literally just common courtesy to clean it up. They simply refused to do so and asked stupid questions like "what would you do?" Only to have no proper response to "I'd clean it".

Ryan (I believe he's the owner) called back and apologized for not calling me back on a holiday! Wow. We scheduled the unloading of our PODS for 5 days from then. The only snafu was that the paperwork he emailed me went to junk mail (not his fault) but it certainly stressed me out for a few days when I couldn't get ahold of him to check on status since winter is understandably not a busy time for a moving service! I guess my only suggestion here would be to ask for a cell # if you want to schedule during the slow months. Again, just a small suggestion - very very happy with Burnett! I was incredibly pleased with the two men who unloaded our PODS - professional and courteous. I will update their names when I find the scrap of paper I wrote their names on! The movers they used were clean and professional. The mover in charge was amazing and helped us to get the most out of our experience. The folks coordinating the move from the Spokane Office were consistently in contact with us and helped us solve our needs. I moved intrastate and interstate many times, DeVries is the worst experience I have ever had…read more There were missing boxes, broken furniture, broken electronics, a broken smoker, damaged flooring, etc. They stored our items in a "climate controlled warehouse". It was not climate controlled as I had some items sensitive to freezing and thawing that were ruined. Also our brand new mattress was sitting in water while in their care. It has a large water stain and the side collapsed. The insurance is a joke. If your item weight 10 pound but was $6,000 they pay $6 (60 cents a pound). The claims "manager" is the rudest human I have ever dealt with. He denied that his company broke anything and said "we never drop anything". They dropped my desk on my wood floor splintering the floor. Then they closed the door in hopes I would not see it. I would not use this company. They are horrible to deal with and have no concern for your items or you as a customer.
