The guy brings me a bin and it is half full of cans. I ask him how are you going to register my cans with all the cans in here already he said the scale. Rates them and he already Tare it. I proceed to rip open the bags and throw them in the bin bin bin started getting quite full so I told the guy I'm afraid to cancel going to start can you bring me another bin? He says don't worry about it. Throw the rest of the bags on top. So I did so I'm in the process of tying my 55 gallon drum to my trailer he comes out hands me $20 I said what is this for he said you can't I said 47 bags and a 55 gallon drum doesn't seem right he says it is with the scale says it is I see he said it's too late I've already taken it off the scale can I have a receipt he says we don't give receipts on cash deals At this point I got super pissed and I had to leave. I recommend you do not go to this place you will be ripped off if you do.

Sunshine Disposal has been good most of the time. We had trouble changing bin sizes, but worked…read morethat out after a week or two, but then recently we had more trouble. Our trash did not get picked up for 3 weeks in a row this summer. I called every week. We asked for a refund for 2 weeks. Melissa in customer service was understanding. There seemed to be some mix-up on the number of our bin and its location, but they have a NO REFUND POLICY. When I finally reached the customer service manager, Marlena, she refused to issue a refund, disputing there was ever any confusion, that we had not put our bin out on those days (we had!), and that eventually all our garbage was picked up, so they had fulfilled their service. I believe there were other bins at our pick up site that were also not getting emptied. The bees were terrible.

My wife filed a police report and we notified Sunshine disposal and recycling, and they basically said "too bad, so sad" and that this falls under the category of a "road hazard" (whatever) and they are not responsible in any way. They also had the audacity to say the road debris could have come from anywhere, even though my wife saw it fly out of the back of their garbage truck. BAD BAD BAD COMPANY!!!!!

I went there to recycle aluminum wheels from my van and they refused because I had a male friend of…read moremine, who 20 years ago did some stupid things and got him banned from pawning anything for life, help me carry them. My van, my wheels, but because my muscle was an idiot years ago they wouldn't help me. I dealt with the person, only I spoke to anyone, all he did was carry them from the trunk of my car to the scale. Because I'm weak I was penalized. I have never had an issue when I have used other recycling centers and had someone help me out carrying. It was just incredibly frustrating it was cold wet and slushy out and having to drag my wheels back to my car and put the dirty nasty wet wheels back into my car to take them somewhere else. Which I did and shocker, they let me recycle without an issue even though I had my friend carry them again. Go anywhere else than here.

Wow, blessed, at 2:05 pm on a Saturday only 2nd in line but so many vehicles came in behind me,…read morephew. Thankful to have gotten here when I did. It was a real adventure not knowing where this place was or which entrance to drive through. Ended up at the recycling area first. Having a computer monitor I thought that may be where it would go, but was politely informed it goes in the garbage. So glad to be off loading these items for my kids. You can unload up to 350 pounds for $$22.00. More signage or people directing would be helpful but I realize every business seems to be understaffed or can not afford to do any more then they are already doing. I appreciate this service.
