there is a reason why this place has low reviews. believe the people who have bad experiences and…read moretake time out of their days to help deter others from the same trash treatment. with that being said--don't go here. this place and the people that work here should be out of business with how they handle clients. i had an event, so i booked a blowout at 555pm. these people rescheduled my appointment to 625pm without telling me, other than sending an automated text the day of. i left that alone and accepted it. they then texted me again at 2pm saying my stylist had an emergency and i need to come in at 3pm or i need to cancel. i then respond saying that's pretty inconvenient and asked if i could get a discount or something for having to rush. after i said that, with no mention that i planned on canceling, they send me a text saying THEY canceled. i was pissed at that point, so i called. 6 different call attempts, the first went through and was ignored, the other 5 went straight to voicemail. how unprofessional can a business get? just go to a real hair salon to get your hair styled. this place, their employees, and their communication absolutely suck. and ps: in case they try to use this, yes, at the end of our text conversation, i called them d*ckheads. i was nothing but pleasant before that. they deserve a lot worse than that (-:

Since I've lived 2 hours away for the past 5 years, I can't get to her as often as I'm supposed to, and she's been super thoughtful about how to execute my color (blonde / highlights) and cut (short / bob / a-line) so that it will grow out gracefully until I can return. Katie is super sweet, a very attentive listener, has rock star cutting skills, and knew without a doubt how to fix the mess she was presented with. My daughter left happy and so did I, and since that time, Katie has been doing my hair every 7 weeks, and my daughter's when she comes into town. The only reason she didn't get a one star is because she also cut my husband's hair and his looks okay. Not fantastic, since the sides aren't blended very evenly (you can see the line instead of an even gradation) but it's passable. Mine however is disastrous. I'd grown it out for 3 months but now I have to start over. Her prices are not as cheap as they seem at first glance. For short hair, she charges $24. For mine (just below shoulder) she charged $30. This is without any washing/shampooing or styling. At the end of my haircut she must've seen my dismay so she became defensive saying "the HAIRCUT is good. Now it's up to YOU to style it to make it look like the photo." Of course styling plays a role, but even after going home to wash and blow dry it myself twice now, I still look... like a mushroom. Honestly, I'm devastated, but I suppose receiving a less than ideal haircut is a rite of passage for moving into a new city.
