Ok so I'm a little different I came here because of the reviews, well not exactly the reviews but…read morethe review responses on google! Ok business owner stands behind her people and hella funny. Penny helped me out today bc I had a hair emergency. Believe it or not my hair was covered in Murray's grease from braids and she helped me get it out and bring my hair back! Everyone was super nice! Also if u can't follow the specific instructions on how to get to the salon you should never leave your house. Thanks yall

there is a reason why this place has low reviews. believe the people who have bad experiences and…read moretake time out of their days to help deter others from the same trash treatment. with that being said--don't go here. this place and the people that work here should be out of business with how they handle clients. i had an event, so i booked a blowout at 555pm. these people rescheduled my appointment to 625pm without telling me, other than sending an automated text the day of. i left that alone and accepted it. they then texted me again at 2pm saying my stylist had an emergency and i need to come in at 3pm or i need to cancel. i then respond saying that's pretty inconvenient and asked if i could get a discount or something for having to rush. after i said that, with no mention that i planned on canceling, they send me a text saying THEY canceled. i was pissed at that point, so i called. 6 different call attempts, the first went through and was ignored, the other 5 went straight to voicemail. how unprofessional can a business get? just go to a real hair salon to get your hair styled. this place, their employees, and their communication absolutely suck. and ps: in case they try to use this, yes, at the end of our text conversation, i called them d*ckheads. i was nothing but pleasant before that. they deserve a lot worse than that (-:

Tessa is a sorcerer. Magic is the ONLY possible explanation…read more She's authentic, kind, smart, funny, and so easy to chat with or ponder with or to uncover the meaning of life with (psst... it's laughter ). And the TALENT. My goodness! When I first came to Tessa, I was frumpy, overgrown, and completely intimidated by salons. After 5 minutes in her chair I knew I was a lifer. She's now been the only person to touch my hair - my wedding included; she did my whole wedding party too - in the past 11 years (whoa!). Since I've lived 2 hours away for the past 5 years, I can't get to her as often as I'm supposed to, and she's been super thoughtful about how to execute my color (blonde / highlights) and cut (short / bob / a-line) so that it will grow out gracefully until I can return. My hair is the most put together thing about me. Without Tessa, would I still be employed? Who knows... I really can't recommend Tessa enough. People are drawn to this gal, for her personality and her skills. My mom, sister, and friends have trekked to her in the salon to see what all the fuss is about, and the consensus is unanimous: it must be magic. ‍

She is a perfectionist and will make sure your hair is uniquely yours. Always greeted warmly by her steadfast and charming put Ollie who is a gentle host spreading puppy cheer as you walk in the door.

I gave this review a full 36h before writing because I wanted to give this haircut a fair shake,…read morebut I still hate it... I'd gone to Lee because I usually like a salon who's experienced with Asian hair chemistry, but my hair looks worse after the cut. I so wanted to support a small, woman-owned business. The only reason she didn't get a one star is because she also cut my husband's hair and his looks okay. Not fantastic, since the sides aren't blended very evenly (you can see the line instead of an even gradation) but it's passable. Mine however is disastrous. I'd grown it out for 3 months but now I have to start over. Her prices are not as cheap as they seem at first glance. For short hair, she charges $24. For mine (just below shoulder) she charged $30. This is without any washing/shampooing or styling. At the end of my haircut she must've seen my dismay so she became defensive saying "the HAIRCUT is good. Now it's up to YOU to style it to make it look like the photo." Of course styling plays a role, but even after going home to wash and blow dry it myself twice now, I still look... like a mushroom. Honestly, I'm devastated, but I suppose receiving a less than ideal haircut is a rite of passage for moving into a new city.

Ly is fabulous. She does efficient and clean work for a very reasonable price. I brought my mom in…read moreto do a little cleanup as she tends to cut her own hair. You can make an appointment but typically it's walk in and if there are people waiting they will have priority. Again she is so efficient that the wait times are minimal.
