Tom Foolery's is a large family fun complex with tons of things to outside the credit-hungry ticket producers and claw machines. With a limited amount of time and children 5 and under, we didn't utilize every offering inside the building but did note the many ways you could get lost into spending a lot of time here. A Ferris wheel, ropes course, bowling alley, and more all filled up the space. We ended up spending our time playing some racing games and simple 'skill' games with balls or simple mechanics the kids could handle. Our adventures landed us with an amount of tickets we redeemed for some trinkets on the way out. Overall a fun experience that could have led to more if we had the time. Would recommend checking it out as part of your Kalahari (or nearby) experience.

Tons of games and tons of fun for all ages…read more Our first introduction to all that is 'The Dells' included a trip to Tom Foolerys and so they always have a soft spot in my heart. Attached to the Kalahari, they've updated and rearranged a bit and there's even more fun to be had. They have a variety of indoor rides. Personally, I dig the indoor ferris wheel and could seriously go on that on repeat (but I happen to love a good ferris wheel). They also have go carts, arcade games (complete with prizes), ax throwing, bowling, mini golf, and more. If you get the day pass, the mini golf is included--just a word of warning, it's a serve yourself kind of situation and there were some kids running around and maybe being a little chaotic with it vs. taking it in order (if that makes sense). They didn't bother us to much and when we kindly asked if they could wait before playing on the hole we were on, they did so. But, I could see on busier days it getting kinda wild. They have a new winners shop. Previously, like many arcades, it was a counter where you could spend your winnings (aka tickets). Now, they have a full blown shop, which I'm sure the kiddos will enjoy. They also have a new little bar situation where you can get frozen drinks as well as snacks. All in all, they've grown and expanded. If I had small kids, this would be a gold mine. They could play the whole day away in here. Get to it!

Can I say this is THE BEST attraction in the Dells?…read more I loved riding the mountain/alpine coasters when I visited Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg years ago, so when my friend and I found this while on a casual drive, we knew we had to stop and give it a try. It was $20 per person (a little pricey, in my opinion), but the ride was well worth it. It really lets you connect with nature. We came at non-peak times, which let both of us go full speed without any worries. Normally, the photos for purchase from attractions like these are on the pricey side. We were able to purchase our photos together and got a discount on them. I think it came out to $10 per photo, which is a great deal in my opinion.

She surprised us all with a fun trip to the Wisconsin Dells to the famous "Elusive Escape Rooms" right in the middle of town. My wife called and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Bill to inquire about all the details we needed to know prior. As a family we had never experienced an escape room before. This is were the real fun began. We had to reserve a time slot... We picked a themed mission from several different choices this company offers. We picked one that was to our experience level and theme we thought the kids would love. We paid over the phone and away we went. We showed up right on time and was giving a brief description of what to expect from Bill (the owner) when we entered the room excited and nervous. I spoke with Bill for a few moments and he was very nice, informative, and great with the kids. He explained that he is a local area farmer and his family created this business to help keep his struggling farm afloat during these unique years! I thought to myself what a hard working family and much deserving of our business. So I hope this review I post brings you in more business in the future. Anyways we were told that we had 1 hour to complete our mission. Our goal was to conjour up a potion spell to awaken our Professor in the Enchanted Potion Room. In we went and the fun began..... We had no clue what to do when we first entered but slowly started to figure things out. One clue leads to another kind of a thing. If you are stuck or get into any trouble you can ask for help at any given time. You area watched and listened to the entire time for your help and safety. There is a TV monitor that gives you clues only if you ask for them. You only get so many though and then you are on your own. We choose to let our 7 year old do most of the thinking and the work to figure things out. There was some tough clues, puzzles to be mastered, riddles to be solved, secret code combinations to solve, keys to be found and so much more. We (the adults) needed some help along the way, but as a family of 4 we had an absolute blast trying our best to solve everything. We were able to make it out of the room with a whopping 37 seconds to spare. How about that for a families 1st time. VICTORY! We all agreed that we would come back to this location and try another challenge. The prices we felt we really fair, the rooms were set up super cool, it was very clean inside and most of all the people who were working the business were very friendly and helpful. Customer service experience was 5 star alone. Looking for something new and different to try with your family in the Dells. This place can accomadate just that! I suggest getting a family pass for the year if you have more than one child and/or plan on going multiple times because the price can add up. It doesn't get too loud on most days. Great parking. Any cons? Not really, other than investing in the pass to save. The staff are generally kind & encourage parents to play with their kids, but I will say that sometimes I come here as a mom who needs to take a break & sit down without my phone. If my toddler is playing with her friends I think that is reasonable if she is being safe & not disrupting anyone. It could use a good scrub-down but the center is very large so I'm sure it's not the easiest to keep up on at all times. 1 Star | One of the Most Bizarre Customer Service Experiences I've Ever Had**…read more My girlfriend and I came to Wisconsin Dells looking forward to having some fun together. So much to do here, and Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf was one of the places we were excited to visit. Unfortunately, what happened was so bizarre that we ended up walking away laughing in disbelief. We arrived around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday October 20th 2026 and asked the young lady at the counter whether they served food or knew anywhere nearby where we could grab a bite. She had absolutely no suggestions and didn't seem particularly interested in helping. No big deal. We told her we'd walk down the road, grab something to eat, and come right back for a round of miniature golf. She said okay. We returned just a few minutes after 5:00 p.m., only to discover they had closed at 5:00. Wait. WHAT? We had literally just told this employee, 30 minutes before closing, that we were leaving to eat and coming right back to play. Wouldn't that have been the PERFECT time to mention they were closing in half an hour? One simple sentence could have saved us the trouble and allowed us to adjust our plans accordingly. But here's where things went from disappointing to downright bizarre. The same employee was still there, sitting with her back toward us while another employee explained they were closed. Initially, I was polite and simply disappointed. Then I pointed out that it would have been helpful if someone had mentioned the closing time when we were there earlier. Nothing. Not a word. Not even a glance. WEIRD. I repeated myself, increasingly amazed that she was apparently going to sit there pretending I didn't exist. At this point, I was almost more curious about whether she would acknowledge me at all than I was upset about missing miniature golf. Eventually, I asked her what was wrong with her and pointed out how terrible this customer service experience had been. She FINALLY turned around, giggled like a schoolgirl, and said, "Who, me?" Seriously? You can't make this stuff up. At that point my girlfriend and I couldn't help but laugh. It was like something out of a bad comedy sketch. The complete lack of awareness, professionalism, and basic courtesy was almost comical. Almost. We didn't expect special treatment. We didn't expect anyone to stay open late. We simply expected basic communication and a little common courtesy. Instead, we wasted our time, missed an activity we'd been looking forward to, and experienced some of the strangest customer service I've ever encountered. And the most ridiculous part? This entire experience could have been avoided with SEVEN simple words: "Just so you know, we close at five." Now I'd like to ask the owners and management of Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf a very direct question: Is THIS how you train your employees to treat customers? Is ignoring guests, withholding basic information that could save them a wasted trip, and giggling when someone raises a legitimate concern your idea of acceptable customer service? Or is this the kind of behavior that should concern you just as much as it concerns the customers experiencing it? Because here's the thing.. You can have the nicest miniature golf course in Wisconsin Dells, but if the people representing your business can't demonstrate even the most basic courtesy and professionalism, what good is it? I'd genuinely like to hear from the owners. Is this the standard of customer service you're proud to put your name on?
