Back when I had my wedding in 2006, we used Wisteria. They did tropical arrangements for us and the whole process was a real dream come true. Flowers were brought from Hawaii the day before or so! We had huge wedding for 400 people and he managed to design high and low floral arrangements all through our venue that were so dreamy. I'm happy to finally leave a review, there wasn't any yelp at the time, I think! They really delivered!!! Bottom line, Wisteria has been in the business for years and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with high expectations! He created designs back then that no one really did before. He was / is way far more imaginative and creative than the people in the industry back then and now! I want to agree with one of the previous review: Russel was the one I dealt with during the whole process, he came the morning of my wedding, made sure everything looked perfect as we discussed. He was always smiling and so cheerful. It wasn't just some assistants from said company or delivery people dropping your flowers. It was Russel himself coming and overlooking the flower delivery etc, last minute touch up, making sure I loved my bouquet as well. Can I live that day all over again? Lol. Thank you Wisteria. Russell absolutely knows his profession. On top of making breathtaking arrangements, he knew the name of every flower and plant in each arrangement and why those plants would go well together. He worked with us on cost and was able to present to us different options depending on the look we were going for. And I have said it already, but I will say it again -- all the arrangements were beautiful. I don't know anything about flowers or plants but with Russell and Wisteria, I didn't have to. read more

Wisteria arranged the flowers for our wedding in early June and the result was spectacular. Elegant, sophisticated, and lush....the two arrangements of summer white and pink flowers on the altar were nothing short of breathtaking. As two brides, we were uncertain as to what we would carry on the processional, but Wisteria captured perfectly the style and sophistication we were seeking. The only shortcoming of a Yelp review is that I cannot post pictures of the artistry Russell created for us--they would sell you in a moment. Working with the owner, Russell and his team exceeded our expectations with all of the floral designs for our wedding and reception. From our vision to the end result - It was breathtaking, over the top - Not only did it set the tone of the unveiling of our reception, Everyone wanted to know who the floral designers were. I have worked with Russell Toscano of Wisteria Designs on parties, galas and two of my daughter's weddings (and one son's Rehearsal Dinner). Wow. All I can say is, Russell is the best in the biz. He put together a 'shades of blue' wedding for us at the Lafayette Club, a frozen winter-white rehearsal dinner with glass icicles in the centerpieces, and an out-of-this-world Indian mandala made of marigold petals for the bride and groom to stand inches-deep in for a stylish and creative outdoor wedding in Como Park. What a nightmare! Ordered a bridal bouquet and 3 bridesmaids bouquets none of which were even remotely close to the pictures he showed us of his own work/what we ordered. The focal point flowers were missing and the brides bouquet was- I kid u now- exactly what we said several times that we did NOT want! We called when the bouquets arrived at the hotel the day of the wedding- no apology, he told us to bring the bridal bouquet back to his shop and he'd make the correct one we ordered for the bride... well, it later arrived at the wedding venue right before the ceremony but it was the SAME exact bouquet that he literally just changed the ribbon color and added greenery and a handful of flowers to the outside of in attempt to make a round, tightly bundled bouquet look like a large cascading bouquet. Half of the stems that were added snapped and we had to take them out bc they were dangling and flopping around. We missed pictures and unfortunately had no choice but to use the bouquets for the ceremony bc we didn't have time to replace them elsewhere. Needless to say, we won't be using him again and do not recommend. read more
