Lil' Shandy

6:00 Saturday night seemed busy. Our first time here. Great selection of beers and cocktails. The lil shandy is a fresh tasting beer with a lemon hint 4.5%. The devil's pool is an ipa at 9%. Also, very good but be careful can be too good. Both recommendations by our server. To eat we ordered short rib arancini, Caesar salad for apps. Salad was huge. The arancini could use more short rib but nicely served. Main course 2 different types of pizza (dough was so fresh), special cheeseburger and a chopped pork chop sandwich. Overall, food was hot and tasty. The only thing I would suggest is ordering your apps first. We ordered everything at same time and some things came out at different times or the same time. At 8, the majority of the people eating left. Good size bar. Ample parking. Definitely will go back! Beer flights would be great to try your different creations to take some home.

Outstanding beer, food, staff and service. We enjoyed sitting at the bar for beers and apps.

I saw someone posted a review on July 11 about this place and I'm really surprised because I was…read morethere the afternoon of the 11th and had a completely different experience. I am not disqualifying their experience but it is very odd it was so different. It was a hot, humid, rainy Saturday and the A/C was just fine when we got in. I will admit my first view through the door was a little hesitant but push on in and it was fine. The design goes for a comfy industrial setting. They have a good selection of beer and cocktails using a lot of local producers so there is a wonderful chance for you to find what you want to drink. The prices on the menu looked a little steep but the servings were generous and the food was very good. I had the best wings I've had in a long time with a nice crispness to the skin. My wife and I had a good time and found it lots of fun. If I was going to suggest a change it would be some sort of uniform for the servers. Hypsters in comfortable clothing fine but the issue is they blend in with some of the customers. I was talking to one guy thinking he was a server. It's one thing to be comfortable but professionally you need to stand out from the customers. but otherwise, this was a great time.

She poured us warm water (seriously!) and took our drink orders. We waited another 15 minutes for 3 of the worst mixed drinks. Turns out they had 2 novice bartenders working that didn't know what they were doing. (From our server's mouth!) We paid our tab and left for much better establishments down the street.

I've been here many, many times, but last night was truly one for the books…read more My husband, mom, our two kids, and I stopped in to grab a 4-pack to bring with us over to Hatsu and have a quick drink. While we were there, a woman walked in and loudly commented that having my baby in a bar was "irresponsible" and that, since she was a nanny, she couldn't believe it. My husband said something to her, and the manager (I'm so sorry, I wasn't 100% sure if his name was Craig or Greg!) immediately stepped in. He called her out and made it clear that they love and appreciate all of their customers. He completely stood up for us, and we truly appreciated it. Everyone else in the bar was incredibly supportive and completely fine with us being there. Since when are parents not allowed to enjoy a drink? She eventually left, and honestly, the way the staff handled everything was amazing. This place gets 10 stars from us, and we will absolutely continue coming here with our kids. And when our baby is old enough, he'll be enjoying one of the chocolate milks or apple juices they serve for kids! Thank you guys for being the absolute coolest. We can't wait to come back!

AWESOME PLACE - GREAT VIBES, FOOD & DRINKS!…read more Absolutely loved this place! My best friend and I met to do a candle making session on Main St. in Lansdale. We were hungry for a bite after, saw that around Guys was a minute walk away, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon seating, they let us know that Quizzo was starting and we could join if we'd like. We figured we'd give it a go, and man was this guy a riot. He definitely hit all the various categories of questions, giving everyone a chance to hopefully know some of them. I really appreciate that! He also encouraged participants to make up an answer if they weren't sure, and he might just give you points for it if it makes him laugh. Our server Rachael (that's what my receipt says but I don't recall that being their name) was enthusiastic and funny. The wings we got were absolutely delicious, I tried a coffee rub thinking I might not like it and it knocked my socks off! I had a lemon drop martini at the great price point of $10. Can't wait to come back here!

The dedicated parking lot is also a huge plus for busy weekend nights! So far I've only had the Pony Club cocktail, which was absolutely fantastic! Hubs has also enjoyed all of the beers he's tried to date. Food is good, but nothing special. The fries are super tasty and they actually make a mean grilled cheese (on the lunch menu). Nothing has been out of this world and there have been small inconsistencies with the menu, but it does the job and the drinks are what matter!

While it seems like a typical beer and food pub restaurant, they do go an extra mile with their their own craft beer offerings. Although not always explicitly on the menu, the servers and/or bartenders know what food to pair specifically with their beers, much like wine and cheese pairings. For Halloween they even did a cool candy and beer pairing flight. The food is pretty affordable as well. This is a great place for happy hour (4-6pm) for a get together with friends!

Their menu consists of a decent variety of brewpub and American fare. The bar area has woodsy vibes while the seating areas have random murals on the wall reminiscent of a retro diner. I started off with truffle fries and a side Caesar salad. The truffle fries (3/5) were pretty middle of the rung and underwhelming...some of the fries were over-saturated and didn't have much truffle flavor. The Caesar salad (3/5) was very average and typical of a chain with an underwhelming dressing. The cheeseburger (3.5/5) was a slight bit above average, but the bun itself looked like a supermarket bun and left much to be desired. A better quality bun or some butter/toasting would have gone a long way in improving quality. Service (3.5/5) was friendly, but somewhat impersonal as I was never asked how the food was and if I liked everything as items were brought out. Perhaps I didn't get the allure since I didn't try any of the Iron Hill beer brews, but this was a pretty middle of the rung and average food experience for me such that I probably wouldn't have Iron Hill on my radar for a future dining experience, but wouldn't mind returning if friends wanted to meet up with me there.

I am a restaurant manager for over 20 years and I don't give 5 stars out lightly. Mom had the crispy chicken sandwich on potatoe roll with onion rings for an upcharge but they were well worth it! Most places the onions are greasy and overcooked, these were perfect. I had the grilled reuben with sweet potatoe fries for an upcharge with a side of creamy horseradish sauce. Again spot on perfect, to die for, sweet potatoe fries were a thicker cut and cook to perfection. Both our lunches came out together and for dessert I had the PJ's Cookie Crunch Bomb with vanilla ice cream, cookie/brown bites, chocolate/caramel sauce and whip cream. Pj's you nailed it thanks again and please let the kitchen staff know how great things were. I have managed both FOH and BOH. CHEERS!!! Shawn Doheny

At the specific location, I happen to find myself there one afternoon for a beverage while my wife was at the spa across the street. Initially, the bartender was very attentive. But, as a shift was coming to an end she didn't seem to want to serve any further. I cashed out with her and realized that I had another 45 minutes of downtime. I was going to have one more drink, but the new bartender didn't look at me or pay attention, to her defense, she may have thought I was just sitting there until I wanted to leave since I've paid my bill. The place was very dark, and the layout a little convoluted. Most of the locations in this chain are Bright and airy. This place came off very dark. The service and inside lighting we're not good.
