I loved relaxing here with co-workers in the evening, not to mention that view of the McKinney water tower from the patio at night cannot be beat. I highly recommend coming to see the unique artwork. My favorite piece was a large, canvas painting of "Woodstock '69," so as soon as I saw it, I had to take home the original before there were only prints available. The art is so affordable and better yet, when you purchase one you become an "artster," which comes with membership benefits. I can't wait for the next live music show and I am hoping to attend a paint party soon. I may even try to book this event space for my toddler's birthday party!

Adrian, the owner, is incredibly personable and clearly passionate about his craft, which made us want to stay and explore. The store is full of seasonal candles, room sprays, and diffuser oils in gift-worthy packaging, plus great deals (like buy 3, get 1 free). We loved it so much we came back for their candle-making class -- complete with a bartender serving seasonal cocktails, wine, and a stunning charcuterie board (so sad we demolished it before photos)! Katherine, our candle instructor, was so sweet and knowledgeable that we left feeling like experts. The fact is I have big dreams for the other spaces in the Huddleston building in downtown Celina, but that's a story for another time. THIS SHOP IS GORGEOUS! This isn't your regular soccer mom clothes. This is sequins, embroidery, bold colors, textured neutrals HEAVEN. And the owner grew up nearby and has worn western wear her whole life--so she's passionate about high quality REAL boots that fit perfectly and accurate western wear. They even have a hat bar to design every element of a hat including branding and the thingy that wraps around the hat that has a proper name that I don't know. It's freaking amazing. SOMEONE SNAP A PIC! The staff were so kind and each used their own expertise to help me shop. The items are a little pricey, but they're also quality and not something you're going to find everywhere else. I probably need to reroute my spending money to just go straight to this store...

I wasn't sure how well they'd hold up because the chain seemed so delicate, but they've lasted beautifully. I love not having to deal with a clasp every day--so simple and comfortable! It's about three hours from my house, so it's quite a trek, but so worth it. Ginger and her staff are absolutely amazing, and the yarn selection is two thumbs up. She's got what you need, and the knowledge to make substitutions if it's not an exact match. She's got fabric and other crafts covered on the right hand side of the shop but I'm afraid to venture over to that side because picking up another hobby might collapse my house; it's already full of yarn. The prices are perfectly on par with everyone else, and I totally recommend that you swing by if you're in the neighborhood and want to knit or crochet with new friends you haven't met yet. Or do what I do and drive up and spend the night! There are tons of hotels and excellent restaurants in the area.
