I bought a white button down shirt from a new-to-me brand and it has the most beautiful texture - it's classic, but "elevated" and I know I'll wear it frequently. Let me be clear: this was not "banter," nor was it misunderstanding. It was a deliberate, classist attempt to belittle a customer. They play super music (Motown was on when I was last here), and there are comfy couches (usually you can find the menfolk resting here, waiting patiently for their lady friends to be done shopping). The women who work here are lovely, too, and helpful. I should note that there is an AWESOME clearance section in the rear of the store. There aren't many sizes of items there, so you have to be lucky to find your size in a shoe or boot or clothing you want, but boy, the deals are great in this area.
