It was a great experience. Ron is so caring. He sent a very detailed text each evening with pics of my dogs relaxing with him. He brought in all the mail, washed up the dishes from the cat food and left my apt spotless --even vacuumed! It was a stress free vacation knowing he was staying overnight with the dogs and stopping in once during the day. It was about the same cost as boarding two dogs and having a pet sitter come in to take care of the cats. I highly recommend these guys. They've been in business a long time.

Recently our pet sitter through Critter Sitters retired and we met with our new sitter one time. Everything seemed fine and we were scheduled to go out of town and had confirmed with the new sitter employed by Critter Sitters that everything was in order. Yesterday I asked for clarification about the billing since it seemed substantially higher with the new sitter over what we had paid previously - in response, I have been told that the sitter's schedule has changed and that I should seek care for my animals elsewhere. With little more than a week's notice, this was very unprofessional and disappointing to say the least. I've tried to communicate my experience to the owner of the company but the line has been busy for some time; will update this review if new information becomes available but sadly, I can no longer recommend this business and would seek care for pets elsewhere. Update: the owner responded and while appreciated, I find the way this situation was handled by Critter Sitters very unprofessional. I can include the text conversation for reference as I did not negotiate: I asked a question about a price difference between two different sitters employed by the same company, a difference of over 300 dollars. The only "policy" I see enforced or followed here is poor customer service.

And realized I owe this fantastic person a review. A very long story short, in 2015 I found myself in temporary housing after a move back to Atlanta to start a new job. It was a very difficult situation with two rescue dogs that suffered from anxiety/separation issues. The day prior my daytime pet arrangements had fallen through. I also had work travel imminent. I was in a panic and massively stressed. The same day I called Karen, she showed up to meet me and the two pups. They took to her immediately, even my ultra scared/shy guy who shivered and shook around people. She confidentially handled them, kindly calmed my anxiety over the situation and had it under control. She could double as a therapist!!! The next day while I was at work all went totally fine with their walk. I even received text photos with details of how it went. The pups were happy, I was relieved of stress and life suddenly became simpler. For simplicity sake I've glossed over a very trying and rough time in life.
