The laptop had an issue with the battery within days of buying it, so they agreed to replace it. Took forever, but they finally gave me one. Got it home, opened the package and the thing was clearly NOT a new battery - dented and looked like someone had tried to pry it out without unlatching it. It did work, though so I let it slide. Turns out the OS and office software was not legit though and after a while it continually prompted for me to activate Windows. Which of course was impossible no matter how many times we tried to do so because we didn't have a true product key, etc. Still functioned, but unable to use many Windows functions. The laptop they sold my son was an even bigger sham, claiming to have some super duper drives and video/sound cards, but it turned out to be a poorly cobbled together hunk-o-junk, too. By the time we discovered all of the above, they were no longer at the same location and we couldn't find listings for them anywhere. We file all of it in the "Live and Learn" folder.......
