I moved from a first-floor apartment to a third-floor apartment, and they never once lost their positive attitudes. They were friendly, professional, and always had smiles on their faces. I was probably a little indecisive and asked them to move my rug to different spots a few times, but they happily accommodated every request without ever seeming annoyed. Their patience and professionalism were truly appreciated. I would highly recommend AMS Moving to anyone, and if you have the chance, definitely request Harold and Leonardo. They made what could have been a stressful day an incredibly smooth experience!

The biggest issue, though, was the lack of urgency and professionalism once they arrived. You're paying by the hour, and Michael spent what felt like the majority of the move scrolling on his phone between nearly every box he moved. He didn't introduce himself when he arrived. He flung our stuff around with ZERO care. To make matters worse, we eventually realized that Michael was the person in charge!? Herberto, on the other hand, was a hustler. He was moving quickly, working hard, and clearly understood that we were paying by the hour. I really appreciated his urgency and effort. Then, in the middle of the move, they took an HOUR-LONG break without communicating anything to us. Conveniently, that hour was still included on the bill until we caught it and called them out on it. Watch your bill carefully. EVEN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE SAID THEY COULDNT GET IN TOUCH WITH THE MOVERS... and had no explanation for where they were!!!!? ZERO COMMUNICATION FROM MICHAEL. At one point, Michael even told Herberto to stop walking so fast and working so quickly. I honestly couldn't believe it. When you're paying movers by the hour, I would expect the people in charge to be encouraging efficiency--not slowing down the person who is actually hustling to get the job done. Herberto said he just wanted to get home... ME TOO! Overall, I was extremely unimpressed with the lack of communication, urgency, and professionalism. The driver that picked it up was friendly and helpful. The trailer was had a lot of room (our house wasn't small) and we only paid for what we used. Everything was well secured and all of our items made it 2,000 miles away ontime and intact. Once we got to our location, U-Pack was pretty flexible when we could have the trailer delivered and we had more than enough time to unpack it. U-Pack was worth every penny!

Now the bad ,I used ABF UPACK twice to move across the country. On both moves the bulkheads in the trailers were damaged to the point that i could not install them by myself.On the first move the handle that locks the ratchet in place was broken.The driver and I had to forcefully hook the looking tabs into place and use plastic zip ties to hold the ratchet handle in the locking position. On the second move the bars on the bulkhead were bent so bad that the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs into place.Upon arrival the driver had to use a hammer to beat the locking tabs out of the slots they fit into.This review is in no way a bad reflection on the Drivers, without their help i would not have able to install the bulkheads. Both drivers told me they would report the problem to the people responsible for the equipment.

The movers were professional, efficient, and extremely courteous. They arrived with the necessary equipment for the move out. When we ran into an unforeseen scheduling issue on our end, they quickly summoned a third person. My daughter was told not to worry, they would make sure the job was completed and the truck ready to go within the new time frame, and it was! When we arrived at our destination after a two day drive, nothing in the truck had shifted at all. It had been perfectly packed, and when unloaded everything was in perfect shape. It was a pleasure to deal with this company. I would highly recommend them. Thank you!!
