Summary: Original estimate was doubled, project was 2 months over schedule and they smoked in our home Please do not utilize this business. We asked them to convert carpet to laminate and the original estimate was about $3000. They ordered the material WITHOUT viewing our house first. After ordering it, we had to contact them multiple times to see if anything was being done and that was the only time that the project moved forward. After the material arrived, the contractors (that they hired) said they couldn't get started because BG Hardwood should have came to see the house before ordering the materials. This is when the estimate more than doubled to a total of $7000 because they said we never told them we had stairs (my wife confirms we told them this). New materials were ordered with us having to call and check the status almost daily. The contractors came back to install it where we found out they were smoking in our home Do not go with this company read more

One of our recent projects included high-end luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring, and we're very pleased with how it turned out. If you're looking for quality hardwood flooring, luxury vinyl flooring, or carpet in Bowling Green, KY, Shop at Home Carpets is definitely worth considering. Low prices and great customer service! The owner of this business is the most unprofessional man I have ever met. He lied about the grade…read moreof carpet he thought he was going to sell me (He told me it was a grade #1 when it was actually a grade #3), he was very very rude to other people on the phone while I was in the showroom, and most of all he was rude to his employees. I thought the poor girl that answers phones there was going to cry when he spoke to her. I went to another local place where I ended up purchasing my carpet and found out from talking to a man who owns his own installation business that this guy doesn't pay his installers also. So if you do buy flooring from this guy, know that the people installing it aren't getting paid like they think they are and you are getting the quality of flooring he's selling you. Good luck with him!

I would NOT suggest using Carpet's Unlimited! We recently add on to our home and our contractor…read moreuses them (not sure why!). Choosing our flooring and tile was fine, and the carpet installation was OK, but the LVT instillation was TERRIBLE! Just a few months after the instillation pieces started popping up. They have been back 4 times to "fix" it. They have used 2 different types of glue and neither have worked. In December of 2020 they said they would put in a claim to replace the flooring - five months later and nothing has been done! We've talked to a person in the claims department several times and she is very apologetic but she has no authority to do anything. We've spoken to her manager as well but that gets us nothing. The owner, Ken, will not speak to us. Not sure what else to do, but DO NOT have them install LVT, better yet, don't go there AT ALL!!

The most horrible job installation ever. They left every entry way undone with no trim, flooring…read moreleft uneven, put flooring down in wrong direction, damaged newly painted walls, left ripped up carpet, over hang of existing carpet in entry way roll up and attached with no trim, the trim they placed along wall damaged and not attached, and if this is not horrible enough, I was told I have to caulk the trim on one side they were not putting trim there and that was my job to do that they wouldn't. None of this was told previously nor the lack of professionalism in the installation. So here I am left with what they called finished and in a new built home that is already damaged by Carpet's unlimited! To top it off the satisfaction survey call just called and I'm sitting here like when are you even going to finish the job!. Not fit to even install floor in the dog's house.
