For starters, they didn't try to gouge me for everything someone could have and told me what the minimum I could get away with to make my house look good. They were very trust worthy talking and looking, so I told the man who came to talk to me to make it happen. To my surprise for the price which was more than acceptable, my house doesn't even look like the same place anymore in the best way possible. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone who asked about needing anything done to their home. 10/10

I purchased their laminate, at a super price, and found out quickly that 1/8th of an inch makes a big difference. They are a strange company to deal with, I had some trouble with my first order because you have to wait until you receive an email before you can pick up your product, and I was not aware of that, until after the fact, but having said that, I was pretty satisfied with the product, Until....I found out that most of the product is made in China, and they use formaldehyde, at the rate of about 12 x what is allowed in the states, and ever since my floor has been down I have been experiencing difficulty with my voice and throat, it being very raspy at times, and I can just forget about singing....not going to happen. However, I do not know if the flooring had anything to do with those issues or not, it could possibly be connected to meds that I am taking, but it did make me wonder when I heard about the broadcast that Anderson Cooper did on the org. I am going to keep checking back periodically to see if anyone else experiences anything like what I described, oh and there is a class action lawsuit going on in Ca. concerning the high use of the formaldehyde. I think this should concern everyone, as it is not a problem with other manufacturers, we should realize that there is often a price to be paid for buying cheap.

The associate admitted speaking to me, but denied I gave him a time. I suppose we just talked about the weather. I left without my order, a tank of gas and 3 hours wasted.

He patched the roof to stop it from leaking (didn't charge me at that time), and came back after the impending rain and repaired it the proper way. I asked him when I would need a new roof, and he told me 10-15 years, which is right at what I had figured (didn't try to sell me a roof I didn't need). I supplied the materials, and he gave me a big discount. The three parts that he did need, he picked up, at his cost, and didn't upcharge on them. Only reason it is a 4 star review instead of 5 is that he told me he would be back on Tuesday, and didn't show up until nearly a week later than he said. This was okay, because the leak was stopped, but there was no call back to me to let me know that he wasn't coming that day. I will call Ammex again, and can recommend that you do the same.

We were told that they would be here on one day at a certain time and they never showed up. Then we had to call them to clarify what happened and we were met with excuses. This happened multiple times mind you. If they did show up it was at a different time than agreed upon. Nobody even called to let us know they were running late or whatever. The guy that did the dry wall wasn't on time and never even finished the job. I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves. This is how he left it. He didn't sand the areas. He didn't recap the plugs. He never even came back to finish. $1,250 for this patchwork. He also said that this quote was from the owner of the company also who we never saw. In other words. Do not use this company.
