This will not apply to people who have only ever been to this establishment with no other point of reference. I've been getting LHR done for about 7 years now. I'm in the bi yearly touch up phase. I'm originally from Toronto and I've been to about 3 different places for laser, all of which in possession of the same machine, the alma soprano, whether it's the ice or platinum--so this isn't my first rodeo, I know a lot about this machine. Let's start by saying the new facility is very nice, very clean and I have nothing bad to say about that. It was my first time here and it looked great. The girl who did my laser, also very nice and professional. She was sweet. Do I think she knows what she's doing? God no. I asked for a Brazilian, full buttocks and cleavage area. I walked into my appointment at 130 and left at 145, this includes getting out of and into my clothes as well as paying. I was wondering why on their website they tout being the FASTEST but didn't give it too much heed. I have never in my life gotten laser done that fast, ever. All the technicians that have been doing this for almost a decade to me have gone in and taken their TIME with EACH section. Though she was lovely, the nurse's technique was absolutely atrocious. It was a couple swipes here and a couple swipes there and you're all done. TMI when Ive gotten my Brazilian lasered in the past, the ladies go IN. They are focusing on literally every section and follicle, they move you around in different positions to make sure they get it all, they make sure before putting on the gel that the hair has been shaved properly and everything looks the way it should, and they take their TIME while still going "fast". They KNOW what they're doing. Girl what if I had herpes or something or a cut or I was bleeding? And now you use this machine on others. I was expecting some sort health questionnaire that places usually give out...nothing. At one point she accidentally lasered a spot that didn't have any gel and it HURTTT. The gel was haphazardly removed after and yes, she did give me towels to do it myself but it just felt so... amateur? That's the best way to describe it. I left feeling so angry and disappointed because what a waste of money. There were DEFINITELY spots that were not touched by that machine that should've been. Did I say anything? No. Why would I? It's not her fault, whoever trained her did a horrible job, and with a machine and procedure as sensitive as laser hair removal, I wasn't going to tell her to "do it properly" and "go in for longer" and essentially tell her how to do her job at the risk of getting burned, especially after feeling like she just wasn't good at it to begin with. My experience is my experience and if this works for the people who have been getting it done here, I'm happy for you. But my middle eastern/south Asian brothers and sisters who know what our hair growth can be like...this place ain't it. I live in Niagara now, but I'll 100% make my drive back up to the GTA to get it done there instead. Sorry.

I had sent a message over Yelp to request an appointment & they got back to me super quick with times available. The salon is located In a tiny plaza, but it was easy to find. The salon is very tidy and pretty! Zuzanna and her staff were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Zuzanna let me know what she was doing every step of the way and put me at ease. When it comes to tattoos Trish and Luce were knowledgeable and friendly. They understood what we wanted, made adjustments at our requests from the drawings to the placement; which was amazing. Where the 2 star review comes in is this... we had a full day booked (it was one of our birthdays), our appointment was for 12pm (also the same time the shop is listed as being opened). We got there and waited outside for 10mins no one was there. Decided to go back to our car and try and call, got the answering machine and left a voicemail. Trish calls us back immediately and explains that the owner booked our appointment and that she doesn't start until 1pm, BUT she will be there in 10 mins. Fine. We wait and we wait. It's now 12:30 no Trish, we then decide to DM the Instagram account. Trish gets back to us and says she is waiting for the bus as its running late. She doesn't show up until almost 1pm. We get in and tattoos get done. The real piss off is we were told it could be anywhere between $120-150. Trish charged us all the top end at $150. My issue with that is though the art of the tattoo is beautiful and I respect her and Luce's craft, she did not take into account that she kept us waiting for 1hr in a vehicle and in turn we missed one of our wine tours when she decided on our price. We simply got a "sorry about that" apology. From a customer service stand point the whole situation was handled extremely poorly. I don't care who booked the appointments they were booked and you would think she would have respected that. On top of that the owner...her boss....booked the appointments so again you would think she would honor them at the time they were booked for. We had to cancel one of our wine tours as a result and as a result of Trish, she and Luce only received a $10 tip in total for 4 tattoos and that was more then enough since she had no consideration for our time. The worst part is, had she said on the first phone call can we push it to 1pm? We would have said "sure no problem" and head to a nearby bar have a drink and head back. It was the constant back and forth nonsense and just not being upright and honest that pissed us off. We spent an hour in a car trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
