I had a tattoo revision from Tom and he took my terrible tattoo and turned it into a beautiful masterpiece that I am very proud to show off. I was so thrilled that i had him fit me in for another one. He did the tattoo a few weeks later and it was a memorial tattoo for my brother that passed years ago. My ok not complaint was that they charge for derm which I've never had happen at the various shops I've been to. It was $5.50 a sheet which I also thought was very steep. read more

So got my sleeve finished off by Tom in April and man, I'm still over the moon with the job he did. I absolutely love it. Tom was is a great dude and I will go to no one else for a tattoo from here on it. He is flexible with designs. First and foremost, this place is very sterile. It's literally like walking into a doctor office when getting a tattoo. Becca is the receptionist there, and she does a professional job waiting on clients. Tom was my tattoo artist, and he did an awesome design on both of my tattoos. I'm definitely anticipating to finish my full sleeve with him. There's other great artist who work there including Jess, who co-owns Redhouse Tattoo with her husband Darryl. Also Darryl and Jess are really good people, here's my summary to tell why. When my taxi didn't arrive; I literally waited an hour and a half. And they were both closing shop. They offered me a ride home if there wasn't any taxi by the Depew train station, keep in mind I live in the city of Buffalo. I came here about 4 months ago for a belly button piercing and once they did the check to see if my belly button would be able to handle the piercing the piercer told me my belly button would reject it and it was not possible it would heal correctly. Keep in mind I have a innie so I thought I had a very good chance of being able to get one. I was upset and thought I never would be able to get one. I tried another place with great reviews after this experience and I was able to get the piercing done. It's been about 4 months now with my piercing and there has been no sign of rejection. I recently had the pleasure of attempting to do business with Darryl, the owner of RedHouse Tattoo. I say attempt as, unfortunately, my sale turned into a return. :) As we all are familiar with, I'm sure, sometimes defects in merchandise occur or damage during transit. Sadly, this was the case with a recent purchase I made via Pay Pal from an Instagram post. I purchased and received a pair of Buddha Organics weights and much to my dismay, one of the weights was bent causing one of the Swarovski crystals to pop out. I immediately contacted Darryl via email and a phone call. (I find voice communication further delivers the message than email alone as one cannot tell tone of voice in written communication.) Darryl was awesome! We went back and forth (in a good way) to come up with a solution that would meet my purchasing expectations. Sadly, the options for exchange and/or repair were neither in my personality or time frame, so we agreed to a refund. The customer/seller relationship goes two ways and a customer should NEVER cease to help the situation when possible. I was aware that Buddha is on the west coast (as am I) and rather than sending the defective goods back to NY, I said I'd send them to Buddha directly. This saved us both time and shipping cost. (And an impact on our global footprint!!!) While we are awaiting the receipt of the returned goods by Buddha, Darryl has been in contact with me and I asked about posting feedback. He welcomed both negative and positive feedback. (He actually said that! Verbatim!!) This is an outstanding organization to conduct business with and is exactly why I choose to support small business. While I did not get the lovely pair of weights I wanted, the take away was nothing shy of a good experience. Please consider stopping in (if you're in Depew) and supporting this shop. I have been going to Jess at RedHouse now for a few years. I have gotten to know her and her staff. They are true professionals. The shop is very bright and clean. Jess is such an amazing artist. I am always getting compliments on my sleeve, whether it be for the bright color or the clean artwork. It does take a very long time to get an appt with her, but the wait is worth it. So plan at least a year in advance. There are 2 other artist that you might get into sooner. I have not gotten any piercing from there, but Daryll and Will take care of that. I went in to have my daith jewelry changed, at 2 months (this piercing doesn't heal for 6-12 months), and as respectfully as Darryl could, told me he'd be upset with me if I was his client (I got the piercing elsewhere). This is my first tattoo, and I had a pair of Hermes wing. Everything was very pleasant. Tom communicated with me very well, and was helpful. I was quite anxious, and he made this a very nice experience. I will definitely come back. They are very clean, organized, great atmosphere. They are pretty booked. My appointment was 2 months in advance. I can't comment in terms of price, since this is my first one, but I don't think it was expensive. You do have to put down $50 in deposit. read more

This place is amazing. Very efficient very clean. I got my first tattoo here and with ease. Everyone is very friendly and awesome. Draw up exactly what you're looking for but they make sure that you won't get something that you will regret later. I've gotten a few tattoos here as well as a few piercings as well. I went here for the first time last week to get another tattoo. I have multiples, but I needed a new place because my artist isn't tattooing anymore. I came here because of the great reviews I read. The good parts - The tattoo artist was super nice and easy to talk to and we bounced ideas off of each other for the tattoo I wanted. I sent the pic the week before so the artist knew what I wanted. The place is super clean, all of the employees are really nice, and it's in a great location. The bad parts - while my work was getting done, I noticed the stool my arm was on was wobbling a bit (I was getting the work done on my arm). When I mentioned it to the artist, the artist assured me that the stool had nothing to do with it because the pressure was being put on my arm and my skin was being held tight. I let it go. The tattoo was also very painful. As I stated, I have multiple pieces. The artist was definitely putting a lot of pressure on it while doing the piece. This one was small, and it was already started, so what was I going to do? Tell them to stop and lose my deposit? I can deal with some pain. So now, a few days later, I'm looking at my finished piece (since it's not red and swollen anymore) and crying. The outline is completely screwed up, and it just looks like shotty work. I got this piece because it had meaning to me, and it just looks like crap. I won't be going back here for a fix or touch up. I'll pay someone else to do it. read more
