I've had two terrible experiences here. Once for a tattoo - the girl was extremely heavy handed and really hurt me for 4 hours straight. I have 13 other tattoos and none of them have hurt like that. Another time for a nose piercing (just done at the end of October) - the girl used a piece of jewelry that was cheap with a post that was WAY too short according to another piercer at another shop. I even tried to go back to her before going somewhere else and she couldn't get the piercing out of my nose (the guy at the other shop did it in like 30 seconds LOL). It got infected and I ended up wasting $70 on it because I had to take it out. It seems like they hire a lot of newbies who make mistakes left and right. Steer clear. read more

Had a great experience with Samantha as my tattooist. I brought in a drawing I'd made of what I'd like and she took it and ran with it, making it more tattoo-able (my original was a watercolour I did). The result was a really gorgeous back piece. First walking into Eternal Ink I noted that it was bright and clean with a pristinely clean and beautiful fish tank and clean comfy couches and decor. Staff were helpful and polite and made sure to book me for two appointments because of the estimated size of the work. This establishment is obviously quite busy because they do good work. All artists are booked out several months in advance. There are art books for each artist where you can compare and look for the style that works for you. This was my first tattoo and it was huge. Samantha was caring and gentle and used lidocaine liberally at various points to make me more comfortable. Tattoos take time, there is set up time and resting points and occasional interruptions but I was very pleased with how nice, accommodating, and professional everyone was. After care info was very clear and helpful too. Sam is quick, gentle, and a talented artist and I highly recommend seeing her if you're interested in a tattoo. read more

I went to Eternal Ink to have my daith piercing re-pierced. Firstly, I have to say the customer service from Erica was great. I felt very comfortable and she was very quick with getting through the covid process to ensure it didn't take away from the experience. Secondly, in these covid times we live in, I felt very safe as the establishment was very clean. You could even smell the cleansers and disinfectant. They definitely followed all protocols. Erica was very fast and efficient and did a great job. Im so happy with my piercing jewelry as well. They had quite a few different options. I usually don't like to complain .But in this case I'm giving you my honest experience.i went to Samantha twice and she did a fairly good job.so I went back to have some flowers added to a previous tatoo.didnt spend alot of time with me deciding what we plan on doing she tends to just do what she wants.i was there for four hrs .She was talking to other employees about personal stuff showing pics of whoever on her phone to another employee.kept pausing not concentrating on what she should of been my tattoo.so unprofessional.i felt like I was back in highschool listening to a bunch of teenagers.i called the next day asked her to fix the spot that looked smudged. She said why didn't you say something when you were here .I did twice I guess she didn't hear me or care.spoke to the owner .Didn't care much I guess that his staff are so unprofessional ....I don't know how a business owner could not care about that .I good business owner would say come in I'll take a look at it he said he's to booked up .So I told them I'm not coming back there for second session.i told her intinally I didn't want a tatoo where i needed a second session she said we can get it done today I'm fast .Ok total lie.anyways my neighbor gave me the name of one of the best tatoo artists in Buffalo his name is Jimmy East costal ink. I called.him he told me to come in right away I was so impressed right off the bat .He gave me a long consultation told me the tattoo that Samantha did was not very good she made alot of mistakes.he said he doesn't like to bash other people's work but at least he was honest .Such a nice guy very professional .Gets amazing reviews he said I'll go over everything with you .I want you to be happy with your tattoo.Gave me alot of options. And does alot of research and will text me some of his ideas . Amazing person .I can't wait to cover up this mess on my arm it's so embarrassing when people say what is that on your arm ugh .Nothing is blended right it's hideous .Sorry but it's true .Even if I went back for the second session at eternal.ink I know it wouldn't of turned out right she doesn't have the experience to do a larger tatoo.owner was not very professional at all I guess he only cares about his unprofessional staff than he does about clients .I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you don't have high standards and want a tatoo done correctly. loved it sean the desk clerk drew the design by me telling him what i wanted incorporated then Chris (Grimmer) did the actual tattoo. Turned out beautiful. I have received tons of compliments. Had a blast today at Eternal Ink with Nikki doing my tats. She was amazing; very professional & helpful. She was meticulous about helping me place it in just the perfect way on my arm. She went through my quote with me very thoroughly and made sure everything was spelled correctly, and she was a blast to chat with. Very methodical with opening my needles & keeping everything clean & professional. Plus the whole shop is super clean & bright, and the rest of the staff (including Casper) are a TON of fun too! read more
