I've come in twice over the past few months during their BOGO piercings sales. The space itself is really beautiful decorated when you walk in with private rooms in the back. The decor is really inviting and clean. I have not had any issues with my piercings, but I do get a weird feeling from the male piercer. He has never done anything inappropriate but he is not very comforting or communicative. He honestly gives me a pretty weird vibe with his standoffish, odd behavior. Had a great experience getting two piercing with the BOGO they have going on. Got there right around the time they opened. The inside was super nice. The ladies at the front desk were super welcoming and helpful. The piercer, James? i believe was his name, was super fast and efficient! Love my nose and tragus piercing! Will definitely be back! I got a belly piercing in November and was supposed to be almost fully healed until this month my belly piercing started acting weird and I thought it was weird because I thought my experience was perfect here looking back it wasn't I started feeling awful pulling pains all day with my piercing and ended up going to a near by tattoo shop to find out why I'm experiencing this pain I then found out my piercing was rejecting not bc of my body not being able to handle the piercing through anatomy issues but from wrong placement ,wrong jewelry and wrong care before hand and now have to wait a year to get it re pierced by a new person I am beyond hurt by this because I loved my piercing but it was ruined from not proper customer service and non real jewelry to hold a belly piercing for someone I feel bad to whoever I have recommended this place to and my review a while ago about it being amazing because I wish I went to a different place down below in the blue top is when I first got it done and in the white top is what it looked like today hanging on for dear life if you want a good belly piercing pls do your research somewhere else read more

I went for a nipple piercing and he damn near wanted to kick me out. I had to flip my body on opposite sides of the table, and he was telling me hurry up like it was a line of people out the door and as if he hadn't already pierced one side of my body lol. When I went with my mom for other piercings (as a minor), he was still rude but he toned it down when my mom was there but when I went alone his tone is so off-putting it makes you not want to get pierced. I went today for the BOGO deal. I have strictly only gone to Cowpok for all of my piercings. My coworker and I decided to go today after work. I wanted another helix done on my right ear. The guy came out and asked "silver or gold" (I say silver). I did not even get to pick my jewelry. I'm also not positive the jewelry was sterilized properly. We didn't wait long but we get taken back and my friend went first and then it was my time. I NEVER bleed form getting piercings.... Well today I did. I got my helix pierced with a butterfly back for a lobe piercing and it also was not the correct size needle. When I got home I realized it was not pierced correctly (almost at a diagonal). $30 later I ended up taking it out and I'm just going back to Cowpok (100% worth the price). Imperial is good for basic piercings but I would not recommend for more complicated placements. read more

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I got a piercing back in 2023 thru their bogo sale. I walked into a nice ish studio. The woman was great, however the male piercer was not. I got my nose and ear pierced. The ear went okay. Then came the nose. It should be known I'm not a fan of needles. When the guy went to pierce my nose and I instinctively flinched. When I did, he told me " u just fucked it up." Before I was pierced, I asked if I could choose my jewelry, he said no. I offered to pay more for better jewelry, he said no. Afterwards I was holding my bleeding nose asking if he could write down what gauge and type of jewelry was used, so I could know. I also asked if he could write down aftercare instructions such as what kind of solution I needed. He did neither. A few months (6) go by and my nose has still not healed. So I decide to go to a different tattoo shop. I tell her the issues I've been having with my piercings and she breaks it down for me. - Placement of both piercings are incorrect - jewelry sizes were incorrect (the nose gauge was incorrect and the jewelry type was leading it to keep getting irritated. (It was rounded instead of flat) My ear was pierced with the wrong type of jewelry for the anatomy) To whoever finds this review, please look elsewhere. I've been pierced a few other places and this was the most uncomfortable I have ever felt getting pierced. I feel really bad leaving a poor review but I don't want others to go here simply due to the low price. I was almost pierced with a butterfly back for my cartilage which is usually not recommend. The piercings themselves also felt very abrupt. Usually the piercer will tell you to breathe in or giving you some sort of heads up, but before I knew it the needle was fully in my cartilage. I asked for a quick break (like 10 seconds) because it hurt a lot and he said no and proceeded to put my second cartilage piercing in. I understand the need for adrenaline but I felt pretty uncomfortable. Also, prior to this I have gotten three other cartilage piercings and they did not bleed nearly as much as these two. They also hurt more than any other I have had (could be placement and anatomy). I am worried about the integrity of these piercings and I really hope they don't get infected. On a positive note, the girl in the front was really nice. The piercer was also nice. read more

Let's start this off by telling you I've only ever been to Cowpok. Went into imperial for their bogo sale and wanted my third ear lobe piercings done. Was taken back to a room quite quickly. Went into the room and the piercer came in with jewelry I didn't get to choose and immediately said "No photos or videos please" I wasn't on my phone, it was in my bag. He gave me such weird vibes. Then he tells me to sit on the table and I thought he was just looking at my ears to mark where he'd put the piercing but nope he just did it with no warning. I didn't get to see placement he just went right for it. Next my friend went and she asked him to count down before hers and he completely disregarded her ask and did her piercing no warning. This place is cash only!! They do have an ATM there in the store for those card-carriers. Also, make sure you bring your ID. You need to be 18+ in order to get a piercing here. I've only gotten piercings from this place and I really trust them. I've gotten my nose and belly button pierced by James at a very good price. He's super helpful and knowledgeable. They're super professional and clean. They open packages in front of you and James display a very professional atmosphere whenever I go to him for piercings. Male piercer is a creep. He is demeaning and placed his hand on my leg multiple times between marking my nose for piercing placement. He pierced way too high. Don't go here. You will likely leave disappointed and sexually harassed if you are a woman seeking a piercing. I got my cartilage pierced here about three months ago. I have been taking care of it including cleaning it nightly. A week ago i noticed it was missing but that was because my skin grew over it! Turns out the dude used a too short of an earring to put into my ear. Do not recommend. I now have to get the new earring surgically removed. I went today to get a nose piercing at 2pm , I got a guy named James , he was so mean and rude !! I asked him to explain what he would be doing when I seen a clamp and needle I didn't know what type of nose ring or what would go in my nose !! He instantly became upset and said do you want the nose ring or not !! I said you have to explain what your going to be doing, he then started to yell in front of my 15 year old daughter , I opened all this stuff your gonna pay $60 if you have it done or not it's a nose piercing! I proceeded to walk out the room , he ran behind me calling me a black fat bit$#h. Broke bum , get the Fu$%k out because I asked him to explain what he was going to do and what goes in the nose after !!! I then called the cops and they where able to go in and get my paperwork I filled out and the copy of my license they took !! The officers apologize after seeing the video my daughter took and told me to try and enjoy my day !! This shouldn't happen !! Be careful going there , you may not leave out in one piece I thank God my daughter was there with me to record and to see have people should not treat women or customers !!! Went here because I wanted to get something done on my arm for a while but didn't know exactly what. I had the design in my head and couldn't really figure out how to get it on paper. Coupe took care of me. The day I came in for my appointment I told Coupe what I wanted and let him put his imagination to work for the rest of the design. To say I love it is an understatement. He made me super comfortable and we basically got to know each other's life stories while he was doing my tattoo. He was super professional and the place is super clean. This is simply a review for the shop itself. Yikes. Money needs to be spent here to get this place up to par. Peeling paint, rooms in disarray, looks like it just opened or that they're in the middle of opening. I know it's "just a tattoo shop" but you should still look professional and put together. People are coming here to have tattoos done - they should be looking around thinking "clean clean clean. Sanitary sanitary sanitary." You don't need an interior decorator to achieve that. And use some windex on your mirrors, please! Every single one I looked at was smeared and cloudy. We want to be able to see your work super clearly, please! The lighting in the tattoo rooms is pretty dim, I don't know how they can do up-close work without more illumination. Huge front waiting area has a single 2-seater love seat. Can you please put at least a few chairs in there for your clients who are waiting? And the bizarre old-fashioned Western movie playing on the tv screen? Makes no sense.... Oh, and the bathroom was freezing cold and smelly. read more

If i could rate this 0 stars I would. I went here about a month ago and got my 3rd hole pierced. It got super infected and ended up getting a bubble filled with pus and liquids, I needed to go to the doctors to get it popped because I was in excruciating pain. I cleaned it just like I cleaned all my other past piercings and this was the only one that got this bad. I have had multiple piercings ( not just ears) and nothing has ever been this bad . I do not recommend getting anything done here. Very unprofessional and not a very clean place as well. I as well have a friend that got her belly button pierced here and had a very bad reaction to the piercing and went to a different place to get it re pierced and is doing perfectly well now. read more

Had 4 piercings in one ear during a BOGO sale (first mistake). I was rushed out of the shop bleeding profusely with blood dripping onto my neck and all up in my hair. Never went to downsize because they kept taking turns getting infected (my fault for not downsizing but how do you downsize when the area is constantly swollen for months straight?) went back to have James take a look, and to possibly downsize, he popped the bumps or keloids whatever they were. I followed after care instructions of tea tree oil and saline. 4 days later I woke up in a puddle of fluid under my ear and a beat red ear swollen 2x the size. Landed me in urgent care with a massive infection of the tragus piercing. Words from the doctor "popping keloids is never recommended by medical professionals because it creates an opening for the bacteria to get under the skin." Now I'm on oral antibiotics for 10 days. in october of 2019 i went on my birthday to get peirced. my plan was to come out with my 2nd holes & my belly button. I waited for a good 20 minutes with nobody in front of me. I went with my boyfriend , my mom , my stepdad and my grandpa. James told me that i could only have my mom in my room when i wanted my boyfriend to come along. for "sanitary" reasons which i completely understand. We went in , he did my belly first and then my ears. my ears took the LONGEST time to heal. i changed the earring about a month and a half after. they recently started hurting badly but i just thought they weren't healed all the way so i kept them in. i don't know what's wrong with them but they are infected i believe and have a MASSIVE keloid on one side. It basically ATE my earring and i am unable to remove it (picture provided). Next , my belly button. it was very tender which is normal , crusted up & just the basic healing yknow? So it would get infected on and off. keep in mind i only had it for a month. things didn't look right so i thought it was rejecting. i went back in and i showed james what was going on & he told me that the ball at the bottom of the ring was too heavy. he changed the ring to a no stud ring. just 2 balls. about a week later it got worse. worse to the point where it hurt so bad. i knew from the start it was rejecting so i go back again. i went back in and he told me it was rejecting. took it out , and cleaned it. left a MASSIVE scar that doesn't look normal. if i could rate this place a .5 i would. I got a free peircing from him because i cried when it rejected. i got my 2nd nose piercing done & i told him i wasn't ready then he proceeded to put the needle through my nose. if i could sue this place i damn near would. read more

i wish i could rate it under one star because that's what james deserves. went to get my nose pierced with my friend, this isn't my first time. The owner, james, was cold and made the environment very uncomfortable. He pierced my nose with his bare hands after grabbing all over my face. He barely cleaned the area and didn't clamp it he just jammed the needle through my nose. He also made me sit up instead of lay which i thought was weird. After i was done he pierced my friends nose and hers bled and hurt more than it ever had before. This was her third time getting her nose pierced too. After he pierced her nose he then asked her if she knew how to follow directions in a very condescending tone. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone let alone someone getting a first piercing. Overall james made the environment feel cold and unsafe and it was very rushed. It also seemed very impersonal and not that sterile. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. read more

He laughed at my tattoo idea, which was script on my foot saying "fortune favors the brave" and when I asked for the shop minimum, just so I could guess how much money I would need to save, he was so incredibly short with his answer- it was as if I had offended him. AMAZING! I got my nipples pierced not 15 minutes ago. First we called to see if he accepted walk-ins . When I got there with my friends he was very professional and I filled out the paper work. He let BOTH my friends go back with me . He kept me calm and talked me through the process the entire time . James (the piercer and owner) did the piercings so fast and accurately too! After it was over he talked me through the cleaning process and I walked into the lobby and started to get dizzy and nauseous. I told him and he brought me a trash can and some soda. Corey did both of my tattoos as well as my husband's tattoo, he is very talkative which is cool cuz I don't want to sit there in silence and be concentrating on the pain. I was originally unhappy with my first tattoo which he fixed for me as well as doing touch ups to both of them for free. The only complaint I really have is waiting as long as we were. I went into the establishment and waited ten minutes before I was even acknowledged, left my phone number, and then left.
