If you're looking for a real tattoo made by some of the most talented tattoo artists in the city, go here. Really clean and nice tattoo shop. Corey Cudney is a talented artist in a variety of media. Huge waiting list, but if you're looking for portraits, I've heard him referred to as the "photocopier". They look exactly like whatever picture you choose. Chris Allen is another extremely talented artist. His style is very realistic but can be extremely creative. He can incorporate many ideas and come up with original tattoo designs that you never even thought of. Don't be intimidated, go in and check out their portfolios, they may be pretty busy working but set up an appointment to talk to them if you're serious. You'll be paying by the hour and depending on what you want, may cost many sessions. They're skilled at what they do. It takes time and patience for real artwork to be created. If you're looking to get your name tattooed or something equally lame go some place else.
Today was my first time going. The shop was very clean and had a really cool interior. The staff there were very nice. I had to wait a little longer than I would've liked (I was a walk-in on a Sunday so I really can't complain about it.) And most importantly, Jae did a great job on my tattoo. I will most definitely be going back to get more work done!!
I love this place. I've gotten two tattoos done here so far and I plan to get many more. My artist was Scott. He is super chill and has done a nice job. The shop is really cool and clean. They've got good taste in music and interior design lol. Anyways I'd highly recommend. I would do your research and see which artist seems best fit for you and make an appointment.
I walked in here on a whim (no appointment) on a Monday afternoon. I was promptly greeted and able to chat with a woman called Kaitlin about my design. I wanted something simple- just a couple words on my side. She said she could free hand the lettering and asked me to come back in an hour in a half (no problem I ate a sub at a shop up the street.). When I returned there was a camera crew from Spike TV that was doing a bit about a kid that had won a video game contest and was going to drive a race car in England. The guy was a really skinny dude who was getting a tattoo of the race track in England on his chest. I was impressed with my ability to find a place so legit they were on TV out of all the shops in Biffalo they could have picked. Everyone there was friendly and chill. My tattoo came out awesome and I simply adore it. It was also cheaper then the tattoo I got 10 years ago. It wasn't a complicated design but the price was lower then I expected. Kaitlin was even really nice about my need to talk the whole time she was working cause it made me not think about the pain. Awesome place, I will defiantly go back.
I recommend NO ONE to get tattooed by Zach Zahn at Devine tattoos. I have never experienced such horrible customer service or gotten a tattoo this terrible. The tattoo I wanted was very simple: the outline of an ice cream cone. Zach told me he could not make the tattoo as small as I wanted even though I have seen multiple tattoos of this kind that are much smaller, and have much finer detail, done by other artists. He was rude the entire time and made me feel like an inconvenience when I was trying to figure out where I should have the tattoo placed. The quality of the actual tattoo is HORRIBLE, as Zach couldn't even tattoo a straight line or align the scoops on my ice cream cone--EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STRAIGHT ON THE STENCIL. Mind you, I was being completely still throughout the entire process so it was not due to any shakiness. When the tattoo was complete, Zach rushed me out of there stating that he had another client. After seeing the terrible job he had done, I emailed him in a very professional manner addressing my concerns. He told me that he didn't appreciate my attitude (gave him no attitude) and that the reason the tattoo turned out the way it did was because "I was jittery and that "I was unsure of the tattoo the whole time" and told me that I could "come get my money back" because he did not "care to tattoo" me again. I never received an apology, and had the blame put on me. He gave me my refund, however, when I asked for my tip back he didn't give it to me. Sad, incompetent and unprofessional! Brrr.
I got a tattoo from this place a few years back hoping for a great cover up. I was so Embarrassed by the tattoo I had when I was younger and ready to have it covered up! I was told this place was great! Well they gave me another embarrassing tattoo... I can't express to you how upset I was and embarrassed... I had this ugly HUGE tattoo on my side and would end up buying one piece swim suits to cover up the embarrassment. The artist didn't care... rushed it and then charged me out the ass for it. I felt very pressured... a few years later I finally got the guts to get the horrible tattoo covered up. I was terrified to go to another artist since the gig from divine tattoo scarred me... also on top of it he destroyed my skin... I now have scar tissue because of the tattoo he gave me . I would not recommend. This place. Make sure you do a lot more research before going to These artists that don't give a crap and only care about the $$. My NEW tattoo is shown on the right ... the other one that was "covered up " which you can still see the OLD tattoo underneath it! Please save yourself a trip and don't go here... the awful and embarrassing tattoo is on the left.
Scott was excellent to work with. We were walk-ins because we had plans to be out of town for the weekend and they were very unexpectedly canceled. He hooked up my husband and I with some ink we've been wanting for a while. Really knocked it pit of the park for the design I requested. Professional, laid back and excellent artist.
My best friend and I walked in very last minute to get matching tattoos. They quickly got everything ready and we were in and out within 30 minutes max! Zach was AMAZING to us! When I didn't like my placement of the tattoo, he changed it for me right away and made sure I knew it was okay that I changed my mind. I was getting my first tattoo and he explained everything I needed to know and made sure I was okay throughout the whole process. He was very nice and accommodating the entire visit. He also made good conversation. Our tattoos came out just like we pictured them in our head and he did such an amazing job. He also ended up giving us $10 off since we got matching tattoos! I would 100% recommend Divine Machine and Zach as a tattoo artist!
These people are so friendly! The apprentice at the reception desk accommodated me by getting me in last minute. Super helpful! Kris did my tattoo and did a phenomenal job, I'm so happy with it.
Awesome work done by these guys! My girlfriend and I have gone a couple times now and won't be going anywhere else. As soon as you walk in the atmosphere is way different then other tattoo shops around Buffalo. It's very welcoming and everyone is super cool. Dustin has done my work and I was stoked how the pieces came out each time. My girlfriend has been seeing Kaitlin and has also been super happy with her results . They are good at working with you if you are a little indecisive. If you want some quality work done go see these dudes!
it was supposed to be a cover up & it got messed up even more im so disappointed how this healed up i got this tattoo about a month ago with i believe his name was scott he said he couldnt do a bigger rose to cover up the heart so he had to do a small one this tattoo was supposed to be in memory of my grandfather who passed away but now i have to get it covered up touched up or fixed AGAIN & last but not least it only took not even 20 minutes & i was charged $120 which is ridiculous i could of went somewhere else got something way more detailed better looking & bigger what i wanted FOR CHEAPER I DO NOT RECOMMEND DIVINE MACHINE TATTOOS TO ANYONE !!!!!!
I love this place highly recommend! They're friendly and very skilled at tattooing! I had Zach I showed him my ideas for a cover-up and he sketched up exactly what I wanted! He was very patient with me due to the area being sensitive to tattooing! Very very happy :)
I started coming to Divine Machine in January specifically to get work done by Chad Grohman, a custom tattoo on my forearm. The only tattoo experience I had before was two tats done in the living room of a friend 30-some years ago. Since January I have been back 4 times and thrilled with everything about my experiences - love Chad as an amazing artist and really kind, thoughtful person who makes every session fun! Plus, I love the shop itself - kind of like a maze with incredible tattoo art on every wall, nook, and cranny. It's clean with a friendly vibe. All the artists are so talented and cool - I want tattoos from all of them! I'm sorry some people had bad experiences from the looks of the reviews, but I have zero complaints and all praise. read more
What's an annual Buffalo trip in mid-December without a little tattoo to take home with you? It's nothing. That trip would be nothing without the tattoo... So there seem to be an abundance of tattoo shops in the Buffalo area, all fairly close by each other. There was another shop doing a flash event, but I chose to lead the boys to a different spot that I'd hoped took walk-ins and wasn't as busy. This was the spot. The guys at this shop were top-notch. Super friendly and easy to talk to. I talked shop and music with them for a bit before getting a rad flash book to go through as I had no idea what I really wanted. My boys were not as savvy with the tat experience butter guys at Divine Machine made it easy for them. Pertaining to walk-ins, it seemed a little hectic, as they were just like "okay, you want this or that design? We'll find someone to do it." I'm definitely used to a bit more of an organized situation where I'm gonna know the artist before we just do the damn thing, but all these artists seemed to know be solid with American traditional so it all worked out. Parking is on the street where everything you'll ever need in Buffalo is, Elmwood Ave! Check out their Insta @divinemachinetattoo Website: divinemachinetattoo.com read more

I do not recommend this shop if you want a good tattoo. I wanted a very simple tattoo, a small cross, two lines. How do you mess that up? Well if you go here, it's possible. I don't recommend it. read more
