I discovered this place here on Yelp when I was searching for tattoo and piercing shops with good reviews, and now I can add another glowing review to the list. I contacted Arboreal Ink because I wanted to get my ears pierced. I have had this done twice before years ago at cheap mall kiosks, but the holes never healed, and ended up closing up. After a short email conversation with Britt at Arboreal I made an appointment. Britt is fabulous, and I can't say enough good things about her and my experience here. She spent so much time talking me through the process. You can tell that she loves her job, and has a lot of experience to back that up. We were able to work around the scarring from previous piercings, the new ones were quick and (almost) painless, and I am very happy with the results. Highly recommended! read more

Had such a pleasant experience. Stopped by here before leaving Buffalo for impromptu Sunday funday activities. My friend and I both got piercings I got my conch and my friend got her nostril pierced. Britt was so friendly and very knowledgeable and took her time really focusing on the placement for mg conch. I was referred here by a friend who said they were amazing and I called up the shop told them that i wanted a Japanese sleeve on my leg and was placed with Greg who is not only an awesome person but an awesome artist he try's to make you feel as comfortable as possible. I showed him the idea I wanted and he dissected every image and helped me put how each tattoo should be positioned he free handed my coy fish my dragon and my samurai helmet. I cant rave enough about him every appointment ive been in has been between 4 to 5 hours. Its a clean shop that has art all over even a few vintage arcade machines (wished they worked lol) So next time your looking for a shop that's full of amazing tattoo artists stop into arboreal ink you wont regret it. read more

When I had my tattoo done yesterday I got a artist name Kevin and he did a fantastic job on it. He could see that I was nervous but he talked to me about it and got the edge off a little. During the beginning he did a line of it to see how it felt to me before doing the actual thing. He seen I was a little nervous still so he started asking about my tattoo and then he asked if I wanted to put my ear buds in to concentrate on it and stop so I could put them in and then went back to it and said that he's not in no rush so we can stop as many times I want and was just nice throughout the whole thing. read more

I decided on the spur of the moment to get a tattoo on my left foot on Valentine's Day! For 10 months I have been looking at Greg's gallery on the website. I loved what I saw! So I called to see if there was by chance an opening.....there was! Greg and I spoke and set a time. When I arrived we discussed design and location. He went off to create my tattoo! I fell in love when he showed me his vision. This is when I got a bit nervous as this was going to be on my foot. We're in from out of town and I went here based on great reviews. Wasn't disappointed. They were super friendly, which isn't always the case for ink shops. I got a next day appointment and I love my tattoo. He did a good job of tweaking it until I was satisfied. Greg gave me the best tattoo experience I could have asked for. I called spur of the moment on a Thursday morning to see if they had any times for a walk in appointment. Greg told me if I came in then he could fit me in! I had three words done on my lower shoulder blade/back and they were about two inches in size. Greg did a free hand script for me and designed a gorgeous tattoo. He made me feel completely confident and comfortable and I have never been more relaxed before a tattoo/piercing in my life. I usually have a huge fear of needles and my first tattoo was not a great experience for me. Greg talked to me the whole time and the tattoo hardly hurt at all! It took less than 20 minutes to complete the tattoo but I didn't feel rushed at all. I will absolutely be going back to Greg for any future tattoos. Great experience! read more

So happy that I chose to have my piercing done here! I had a navel piercing a few years ago that I let close. I was really nervous about re-piercing because I didn't want it to look funny or create a lot of scar tissue. I went to Arboreal Ink because I liked Kevin's watercolor work. However the work he did for me was quick and he promised that if it didn't turn out right I could come in for a free touch up. But when I tried to get in touch for this touch up it was like pulling teeth to get a response. It's now been months of trying to get this scheduled with him without even an "I'm booked up for now, I'll get back to you" or any indication he will follow up despite multiple attempts on my part. When he wanted to book the initial tattooing, he wanted to schedule it for that very week but now I need a touch up he has no time? Not my first time getting a tattoo, I know how artists are. Guess this one only cares about getting money - I would not recommend if you want your tattoo done by someone who cares about their work. read more
