My 3 best friends and I booked appointments here to get our matching tattoos. Wasn't my first tattoo nor my first time going there. When it comes to tattoos Trish and Luce were knowledgeable and friendly. They understood what we wanted, made adjustments at our requests from the drawings to the placement; which was amazing. Where the 2 star review comes in is this... we had a full day booked (it was one of our birthdays), our appointment was for 12pm (also the same time the shop is listed as being opened). We got there and waited outside for 10mins no one was there. Decided to go back to our car and try and call, got the answering machine and left a voicemail. Trish calls us back immediately and explains that the owner booked our appointment and that she doesn't start until 1pm, BUT she will be there in 10 mins. Fine. We wait and we wait. It's now 12:30 no Trish, we then decide to DM the Instagram account. Trish gets back to us and says she is waiting for the bus as its running late. She doesn't show up until almost 1pm. We get in and tattoos get done. The real piss off is we were told it could be anywhere between $120-150. Trish charged us all the top end at $150. My issue with that is though the art of the tattoo is beautiful and I respect her and Luce's craft, she did not take into account that she kept us waiting for 1hr in a vehicle and in turn we missed one of our wine tours when she decided on our price. We simply got a "sorry about that" apology. From a customer service stand point the whole situation was handled extremely poorly. I don't care who booked the appointments they were booked and you would think she would have respected that. On top of that the owner...her boss....booked the appointments so again you would think she would honor them at the time they were booked for. We had to cancel one of our wine tours as a result and as a result of Trish, she and Luce only received a $10 tip in total for 4 tattoos and that was more then enough since she had no consideration for our time. The worst part is, had she said on the first phone call can we push it to 1pm? We would have said "sure no problem" and head to a nearby bar have a drink and head back. The owner of this shop is out to lunch and allows her boyfriend Mike, an apprentice do tattoos. Yes I knew he was an apprentice but I figured he knew what he was doing if she was going to allow him to tattoo on real skin. I knew what I was signing up for by allowing him to tattoo me along the lines of it not being perfect or having some flaws. Angie the owner told me she would fix any of his mistakes and I was ok with it because everyone has to learn. I was never asked to sign a waiver at any point. Angie has never honored her word of fixing his monstrosity of a tattoo so now I have to pay to get them fixed. I was also dragged through some shop drama some how. Angie called me accusing me of having a friend of a friend call in and threaten her boyfriend. After speaking with another artist in the shop, she was told a different story and Angie was making it all up. I'm not sure what this women is on but I have since avoided the shop. Last time I was in Angie was tattooing a friend with her baby in a car seat while vaping.i have personally witnessed her ignorance to customers she doesn't want to tattoo. Very unprofessional and should never own a shop. If I could give this shop a zero I would. It is a very negative vibe when you walk in if Angie and her boyfriend are there. read more

For the love of fuck, don't go here. Okay - that started off harsh. But honestly, my stick-n-poke done by my friend in her basement looks better than the tattoo I got here. I never got the artist's name but I was a walk-in, not close to closing or anything. He told me he needed to charge me $80 for a black outline of a bat the size of a fucking toonie, and I paid it because I respect the craft. It's healed now, and literally half of the body of it is so fucked up. As you can see in the picture, one wing is so much thicker than the other, and one ear is at a weird angle. Now I have to pay some other artist to attempt to do something with it. Thanks a fucking lot. read more

I had never been in a tattoo shoppe until this experience. The artists were so friendly and watching my travel companion get a tattoo was so frightening to me. The artists laughed & joked. They were always telling me that everything was going to be ok. The tattoo came out amazing and every years later the light fading has made it look ever more "bad ass". I was very disappointed with Steve. Our family had visited his tattoo shop back in 2013, so we decided to go back when a group of us wanted some custom work done in 2016. We were only in town for the weekend, so we called him a month in advance to let him know four or five of us were wanting tats. Over the phone, he seemed willing to take us on and said he would write us in his schedule. The night before our appts when we got into town, we went to his shop to discuss our ideas and from the moment we walked in the door, his demeanor was unpleasant and uninviting. I told him that we were the group that had called in advance and he explained his Saturdays were for walk-ins. I was floored, as I had already arranged everything with him previously. He reluctantly decided he would take us on even though his assistant no longer worked there and he was on his own; however, then it seemed he wouldn't agree to what everyone wanted...."that spot won't work", "that design isn't good" and when we said we were getting memorial tats for my teenage son who died in a car accident a few months before, he shrugged it off like "so?" Wow - nice response! Then to top it off, he said it was going to cost us $200 each. This was ridiculous as some people were getting a small black ink only design or writing only (plus we knew what he charged the last time we went -- which was no where near this price) It was like he was trying not to take us on. This whole ordeal ended in a big blow out and none of us got tats that weekend which was very disappointing as we had planned it for months. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day but his arrogance and attitude lost him our business. Before you decide on going here, talk to him personally with your idea and get a price.
