Do NOT get your piercings done here…read more I got my nipple pierced here when I was 16 (just one at the time because I was young, obviously I was scared to commit). He used a suspiciously small bead size on the barbell and it was also very short. The beads actually ended up causing indents in my nipple at the time. And damn I wish I had known he had pierced way too close to the surface of my nipple at the time. This nipple piercing has caused me so much pain and annoyance. While it seemed to heal fine and I had no irritation, bleeding, excess scarring or infection symptoms, now it has migrated almost to the tip of my nipple and is purplish and almost constantly irritated and painful. After i took the jewellery out to let it close my body started to close up the wound almost immedately. Obviously my body was happy I finally put its care first. Not to mention he charged me $60 for one single nipple that wasnt even done carefully. I got the second one done at Artistics and had a much more fun experience, it healed more easily, the bead was the right size and the bar was the right length. I am not coming back to Sonic and will not recommend it.

It is very clean and well kept and the artists booths are a good size and private. The tattoo chairs/tables are very comfortable and in good repair and all of their equipment is top notch. The Tattoo I personally have only been tattooed by Carrie but I have seen art and tattoos from all of the artists and it is spectacular. Carrie is very amazing at coming up with original and dynamic designs for her clients. She was very enthusiastic about the tattoo and was easy to talk to throughout the whole process. Since she designed the piece herself she contacted me several times to show me her progress on the piece and make sure it was exactly what I was looking for. On the tattoo days Carrie was really professional and understanding. She worked at my pace and always made sure if I needed a break or anything else that I got it. She has great skill when it comes to tattooing so there was no scraping or digging that would make it more painful. The tattoo itself came out very clean. Her line work is strong and smooth and her colors are vibrant. My piece took several sessions and it looks like it was done in one sitting. There are no color variations or alterations in the piece whatsoever. The only real negative is the wait times they have. There is usually a significant wait (weeks to months) for appointments. It is however understandable because of they are doing their own art and they are a small shop. I would recommend Black Bat for a tattoo to anyone who wants to get some great original artwork done.

My 3 best friends and I booked appointments here to get our matching tattoos. Wasn't my first…read moretattoo nor my first time going there. When it comes to tattoos Trish and Luce were knowledgeable and friendly. They understood what we wanted, made adjustments at our requests from the drawings to the placement; which was amazing. Where the 2 star review comes in is this... we had a full day booked (it was one of our birthdays), our appointment was for 12pm (also the same time the shop is listed as being opened). We got there and waited outside for 10mins no one was there. Decided to go back to our car and try and call, got the answering machine and left a voicemail. Trish calls us back immediately and explains that the owner booked our appointment and that she doesn't start until 1pm, BUT she will be there in 10 mins. Fine. We wait and we wait. It's now 12:30 no Trish, we then decide to DM the Instagram account. Trish gets back to us and says she is waiting for the bus as its running late. She doesn't show up until almost 1pm. We get in and tattoos get done. The real piss off is we were told it could be anywhere between $120-150. Trish charged us all the top end at $150. My issue with that is though the art of the tattoo is beautiful and I respect her and Luce's craft, she did not take into account that she kept us waiting for 1hr in a vehicle and in turn we missed one of our wine tours when she decided on our price. We simply got a "sorry about that" apology. From a customer service stand point the whole situation was handled extremely poorly. I don't care who booked the appointments they were booked and you would think she would have respected that. On top of that the owner...her boss....booked the appointments so again you would think she would honor them at the time they were booked for. We had to cancel one of our wine tours as a result and as a result of Trish, she and Luce only received a $10 tip in total for 4 tattoos and that was more then enough since she had no consideration for our time. The worst part is, had she said on the first phone call can we push it to 1pm? We would have said "sure no problem" and head to a nearby bar have a drink and head back. It was the constant back and forth nonsense and just not being upright and honest that pissed us off. We spent an hour in a car trying to figure out what the heck was going on.
