This is a long overdue recommendation for Dr. Wise. He completely improved the pain and issues I was having during my second pregnancy. With his adjustments I was able to feel great for the majority of my pregnancy. Dr. Wise came highly recommended by two friends and seems to be "the guy" you want to see for chiropractic care during pregnancy. I was very nervous to see a chiropractor for the first time, but was assured he specializes in working with pregnant patients. This is a family run business. Dr. Wise is doing adjustments, his wife is often at the front desk, and sometimes their daughter is there too. It's not just family run, it's family friendly. I was encouraged to bring my daughter with me which made my visits much more convenient. They even have a little play area for the kids that my daughter loved. Lots of their patients bring children with them. The first appointment is longer since it's an assessment. It was maybe 45 minutes? Regular appointments are fast which makes it easier to fit into any schedule. Scheduling was really easy to do at the end of each appointment or by phone. They are easy to reach by phone if needed. They don't take insurance, but adjustments are affordable. I purchased adjustments 10 sessions at a time which saved a significant amount per session. It came out to $30 per adjustment. Dr. Wise really cares about his patients and takes the time to discuss any concerns you might have. He's a more natural minded person and I loved getting his thoughts on all kinds of health issues. He gave me a lot of information that led to me doing my own research at home. My visits here were part of the reason I'm exploring holistic and functional medicine. I was leery about chiropractic care, but now I'm a believer. I was having awful tailbone pain and sciatica pain in early pregnancy. Even with just the first adjustment the pain was significantly decreased. After my second adjustment it was gone. Gone! I could not believe how quickly I felt better. I continued weekly for the rest of my pregnancy and felt great. I also continued because my baby was breech. I can't prove it was my adjustments that did it, but she turned at 32/33 weeks. I saw Dr. Wise throughout most of my pregnancy. He is really good about getting you in for an appointment which is nice. The first appointment is great because he does a full scan of your entire back, which shows what needs to be worked on. I saw him regularly for several months, and even continued and took my baby in for appointments after she was born. I started going to Dr. Wise in the beginning of the year and was impressed with his adjustments and how much better I felt. I've gone to several different chiropractors who were good and helped me out, but he has been able to get more movement in my neck in his adjustments. He also helped me with a respiratory issue I had for a month using an unconventional, but effective method (NAET). I really dislike taking medication or antibiotics so this was a great alternative. If you are more open to natural healing methods, it's worth a try if you are struggling with allergies or possible infection. While many of my friends and co-workers had lingering coughs, I was able to recover within two treatments with Dr. Wise. I love getting adjusted, but if you are uneasy with the typical "crack", he is so good about using gentler methods. Because the office is open, I've watched him treat others with a softer approach. I've even seen him treat infants. If you are looking for a chiropractor, I recommend calling for a New Patient appt. now. It may take a few weeks to get in, but if you're pregnant they will try to see you sooner. The initial exam is about $100 and visits after that is $40. They don't take insurance though. read more

This isn't just a casual review. A lot of research went into picking a chiropractor for my 2 year old son. Not every chiropractor specializes in pediatrics, and not every chiropractor will take on special cases. While being at the bottom of hope this place was recommended through one of the mom groups I'm in on Facebook. I went online to check them out and I booked an apt. At first I talked with a lady over the phone and I told her my sons situation. He's 2, he is extremely smart, he has hit every milestone for his age but he is non verbal. He has amazing receptive language but he doesn't have any verbal vocabulary. I had already taken him to an early interventionist and they said he was just not ready to talk and that boys take longer to talk. While that was all comforting, I knew in my mom heart there was something more. My son wants to talk, and he tries, but he just can't. I told this information to the lady and she was very hopeful in a sense that this place would be our next step in moving forward with his development. Upon arriving for our appointment a few things I noticed that also set my heart at ease. And these maybe little, but it's the small things that make a big difference. 1 being there was a play area in the waiting room. This is very helpful for my son because it's easier to get him comfortable for coming to a place like this. And 2. There are adjustment tables on the open, and directly visible from the waiting room. this made me really comfortable in the fact that when working with pediatrics there is nothing going on behind closed doors. I really appreciate that. Now, as for our appointment with Dr. Wise, I couldn't be any more at peace with this establishment. He started off with a thermo scan that was able to tell where the inflammation in his back was. Low and behold he has so much inflammation in his neck area that, that could cause a communication barrier between his brain and central nervous system! Wow!! It was amazing to see, and have it explained. I knew deep down that there was something more than him just not being ready to talk. Dr. Wise has had other patients with the same case as my son and he said through therapy adjustments we can see a huge change for him. So now we are one step forward in having a verbal toddler! Before going to Wise Chiropractic, I had never been to a chiropractor, nor had I any interest in going to one. I have been going to Dr. Wise for at least a year now and I can't even begin to describe how happy and blessed I feel to have found this place for my family. Amazing & super knowledgeable chiro! I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant and have been dealing with awful headaches and back aches. His testing showed severe inflammation in my neck and lower back. I started seeing Dr. Jon when I was 15 years old due to an accident. After not seeing him for several years I am now having baby number two and have been suffering from symphysis pubis dysfunction as well as sciatica throughout my entire pregnancy. I tried seeing a physical therapist up until I was 30 weeks pregnant but I stopped because it was causing me more pain then relief. Now that I'm 40 weeks pregnant I have confided in Dr. Jon and his technique, especially with the Webster technique, in order to get my hips as well as pubic bone where they need to be so I can have an unmedicated at home birth. Baby has been having issues completely engaging and I trust Dr. Jon and his expertise that he will do whatever he can to help my body prepare for the special day. I am 7 months pregnant and I was referred here by my OB. I called made the appointment and arrived for my first appointment. When I entered the doctor was treating another patient in an open area visible from the reception desk. I was not thrilled by this set up, but would have tolerated being treated in an open space, however neither the receptionist nor the doctor were wearing face coverings (there is currently a local mask mandate). As a pregnant women, I have been taking extra precautions during the COVID pandemic to ensure the safety of me and my baby. As such, I have only left the home for doctors appointments and expect that any medical professional would take the appropriate precautions to ensure the safety of their patients and follow CDC guidance and local mandates. I informed the staff that I was not comfortable being treated there due to their not wearing masks. I also contacted my referring physician to inform him of the situation at this clinic. I have been working and partnering with Chiropractors in CA over the last 19 years, so I am skeptical and biased when it comes to going outside my normal circle of practitioners I already know and love. However, we moved to Las Vegas in 2010 and although Ive been referred to Dr Wise many times and even chatted with him, I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on seeing him and have been traveling back and forth to CA to get treated. Go here you will not regret it! I was a frequent Chiro customer here awhile back. I really love Dr. Wise and his great chiro care. He is very caring and listens with an open ear and open heart. I firmly believe that his HCG treatment is top notch! Great plan and I lost a lot of extra baggage! The vitamins and healthy living plans are awesome. I also have several B injections here and Maya spa, located inside, did it right. All and all I give Wise 5 stars but I have to give 4...the only reason why I am no longer a patient is because he does not take insurance. Dr. Jon and Christen (boy I hope I spelled her name right) are great people. I started seeing Dr. Jon in 2013 about 6 months after I had wrist surgery. I had been going to therapy for 6 months and they finally released me saying there was nothing else they could do and I would only have about 5% use of my left wrist. I got a recommendation (actually many) to go see Dr. Jon. He was all the way across town so I almost didn't come but I am so glad I did. Within three visits I had notably more more motion and less pain in my wrist. Not only was my wrist better but my back pain had greatly improved. I continued to see Dr. Jon (admittedly not as often as I should) and now my wrist is more functional and there is no pain. Now that I am coming in more regularly my back pain and headaches have greatly improved. I always recommend Dr. Jon to anyone seeking chiropractic care. I even take my five year old (and have since she was 3). I would recommend him for both adults and children. I have seen him with little babies and he awesome, so gentle. I just recently talked my husband into seeing Dr. Jon. Within a week he was in a lot less pain. Unfortunately he was then in a car accident. Ok. So! If anyone is a skeptic, it's me. At first, Dr. Wise can make you question his tactics and schools of thought if his holistic approaches are not your "cup of tea". However, when it comes down to good ole' bone movement, he is unparalleled in the field. I have multiple bulging and degeneration in the cervical disk (I think every one of them) and major C-5, C-6, and C-7 problems bordering herniation with involvement with the nerve at the C-6 level. I lost strength in my left arm which drastically decreased muscle mass on the upper left halve of my torso. Dr. Wise literally released the pressure from the nerve allowing my body to regain its strength! The damage is still there however it is livable and I can finally get back to the gym. Dr. Wise is by far the best chiropractor I have been to. And I've had a few experiences over the years from mediocre to down right quacks. The thing that brought me to him is the NAET allergy treatments he does. But, I had an adjustment and for the first time in years I am able to get out of bed in the morning without stretching and warming up. My lower back feels good and the tightness in my chest from years of asthma feels so much better, I believe if I could see him more often I might be able to get off my rescue inhaler or at least cut down significantly.
