I've never gotten a massage before, so I got my first massage here with Mia a few weeks ago & it was amazing. She has a great technique and is very strong. Personally i'm a little sensitive to pressure but she was very kind and lightened up, but still doing a little pressure which I wanted. There also is complementary hot stones. I also received a massage from Ashley, and she was fantastic. Very sweet & very strong, I definitely recommend! The spa is very clean & the front desk is nice. they do have very thick curtains that divide the beds, but also two rooms. I made my appointment but when I got there, it seemed like they didn't have my appointment. The massage did not take a whole hour. It was 40 minutes. The massage was OK, but it wasn't a deep tissue massage. It was just basically a wrap on the back they did not focus on my neck or takeout knots. Very disappointed. This is my second time giving this place a try. Both times I've gone with my partner and the first time he had a great experience and I did not. I checked firm to hard full body massage and left there feeling like I just got lotion put on my body and soft rub. My partner on the other hand had an amazing experience. So naturally we wanted to give it one more shot. After a stressful week my partner gifted me a gift card there and we went together again... this time we both experienced similar mediocre massages. Me and my partner came in for a massage. Despite me asking 3 times that I only want a soft/ gentle massage, my upper back still got a beating of its life. My back is extremely sore after the session today with a few rug burns. I understand most people like a strong massage but I specifically asked for a softer one knowing my back is sensitive. My partner on the other hand got a very light massage which he didn't care for, but he didn't really complain about either. But his masseur was texting on her phone multiple times and we kept hearing chimes of text messages back and forth the entire session. The door was not close so we heard all the sound or noise from outside. My masseur's breath smelled like the food she just ate and well that was also not pleasant. Overall it was not a relaxing enough session, I could not even fully relax and well too busy clenching my body due to soreness from their elbow rubbing on my back. I really hate writing negative reviews because I know how much they can impact a small business, but I also feel it's important to be hones. Booking was incredibly easy--I called about 30 minutes ahead and was able to get an appointment with no issues. When I arrived, everything was on time, and I didn't have to wait long at all. Unfortunately, the actual massage just didn't work for me. I paid for a 60-minute session, but I asked to leave at the 30-minute mark. I have very deep and stubborn knots, so I need strong, targeted pressure. My therapist, who was an older woman, simply wasn't able to provide the intensity I needed, even if I had asked. I tried to stay polite and not make her uncomfortable, but I could tell early on that it wasn't going to be what I was looking for. Those 30 minutes felt long because it was essentially just oil being lightly rubbed on my body--not the deep tissue relief I came in for. It was uncomfortable to sit through knowing that staying the full 60 minutes would've been even harder so I had asked to leave early. They told me they couldn't give me a refund which I was fine with. I truthfully just wanted to leave badly. I even tipped the person who is my masseuse out of feeling bad about hating being there. Again, I don't enjoy writing negative things, and I'm sure other people with lighter pressure needs might have a very different experience. But for me, I felt like this was a complete waste of money. read more

Maybe this is on me for not knowing what to expect, but my husband and I paid for a couples full body massage and left wondering where the rest of our bodies were in the equation. The staff was nice and the place was clean, but most of the massage focused on our head, neck, shoulders, and feet. We were expecting our backs, shoulder blades, lower back, etc. to be a major part of the service, especially since it was advertised as a full body massage. We both walked out looking at each other like, "Wait... was that it?" Not trying to be rude, just being honest. If the massage style is more focused on pressure points or certain areas, I think that should be communicated clearly beforehand so customers know what to expect. read more

Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I booked a facial + full body massage and did not receive a full body massage at all. Large areas like my legs (hamstrings and quads) were completely ignored. The room and oils were cold, and even after mentioning it twice, nothing was done to fix it. The facial itself has now resulted in what appears to be an eye infection the next day, which is extremely concerning and unacceptable. The worst part was the behavior at checkout. After explaining my experience and choosing not to leave a tip, the front desk staff repeatedly pressured me, followed me outside, and continued asking me for a tip while I was on the phone. I was even told to hang up my call. That level of harassment is completely inappropriate. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. read more

Mia was really good, she had great pressure during the massage was calm and she gave me a great facial! All the products they used for the facial was Shiseido skin care. I had a great experience but my only thing that really sucked was the room i was in. Next door there is a dance studio and i could literally hear so much banging, the instructor yelling, the loud music and students next door through the walls! I wish I was in a more quieter room to be able to relax more. But overall if the noise won't bother you then this is a great place to get a massage and facial! read more

I would not recommend Rainbow Spa. I called ahead to check availability, and they scheduled us for a 6:30 appointment -- even after we told them we weren't quite ready yet. While we were in an Uber on the way there, they suddenly canceled our appointment, saying they were fully booked. That's extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time and money. Gifted a Groupon to my partner for Christmas and decided we wanted to use it for Valentine's Day. Called to make appointment, no answer, emailed, no answer. Decided to walk in and the reception was just on her phone. No greeting just "do you have an appointment?" I said no because we have been calling and emailing about got no response. She then says " we are busy". (Mind you, she was just sitting on her phone). Awkward silence for about 15 seconds and my partner then asks, "when is your next available?" There is no customer service here. She wasn't even trying to accommodate. Don't even want to go here anymore but Groupon won't give me a refund so I have to suck it up. I've been here twice now. Mia was my therapist at my last visit. I've been to many places before, and Mia was the first therapist that actually listened to me and didn't go crazy with pressure. I like a light, calm, and overall soothing massage. I absolutely hate deep tissue, and Mia always checked on the pressure to make sure it wasn't too hard. She was very professional and thoughtful about her caring for her client. I booked on Classpass and brought cash to tip her which was $40 for the 2 hours.
