Found Ccue Spa on Groupon. Decided to visit them since my normal spot was a little further out and I wanted something closer. I walked in and I stood there for about 5 minutes with no one around. I could see on their monitor that the workers were there but did not come to greet or help me. With that said, I decided to walk away. When I was outside, a man came running out and said he could help me. I'm like ok so I walked back in. Pay ahead before the services and no refunds. He took me to a room and told me to wait there. 5 minutes later a female walks in and greets me and took me to the room where Ill be having my massage. She said to wait about 10 more minutes as she is still with someone else. So I continued to sit there. The massager was really nice. Not the best massage I've ever got but not the worse. She was a bit rough but that was ok too. One of the negatives is she went to the back to get hot stones and bucket of water which took out of my time to massage me. Also, the floors creaks. CCUE Spa is a huge place! A lot of privacy and quiet. The only noise you hear is the tranquil music or yourself snoring. Two multi user unisex restrooms! Joe was manning the front and taking calls. He also massaged my wife during my couples massage. He was good and relaxing, as my wife fell asleep and woke up when he finished her massage. Lina was my masseuse and she was knowledgeable and skilled. She walked on my back as I am always tight and need hard pressure. She did ask several times how the pressure was. Though, she did use elbows and hands during the massage. She also massaged my feet and also scraped my back to exfoliate and remove the dead skin. She recommended I also add cupping since I was my muscles and body were so tight with knots. This was my first experience, and it did hurt a little especially in the tender areas like the back of my upper arms and my love handles. We took my sister here for her birthday because we always wanted to try a hair spa treatment. We did the $60 an hour session. This place is huge. We changed into robes and got settled. This is on a different level. Why didnt we do this earlier. The aroma of the hair solution just smells so relaxing. They start off with a dry massage then followed with shampoo conditioner and more head massages. Then I experienced a metal head massage and this time I felt it down my entire body to my toes. Amazing feeling. Next was a waterfall mister comes on that rotates from the top to the bottom of your head. Lastly your head goes into this steaming bowl I know it sounds scary but I guess it's to keep the conditioner sealed for a minutes. Lastly you are left with a 15 minute massage starting from your arms thighs and legs. It doesn't stop there they bring you into a chair to blow dry your hair but they don't dry it all the way. your hair is not wet wet it's between damp and fully dry hard to explain. At then they offered us tea or water. You leave this spot like your hair just lost 10 pounds I'm definitely coming back once a month. They also offer a stamp card which we forgot. PS. There is a sign that says tip required minimum $20 for an hour massage and then $25 for 90 minutes. This was new to me. read more

Disappointing and misleading experience I purchased a Groupon for a short hair perm since my hair is above shoulder length, and I even referred to the pictures provided when booking. When I arrived, the salon accepted my Groupon without any issue. The stylist did not speak English, so we communicated through a translator app. He mentioned my hair was a little damaged and suggested a treatment before the perm for an extra $50. I agreed to that. However, when we finished, the cashier told me I owed $100 extra PLUS tip. I was shocked because I had only agreed to $50 for the treatment. They then claimed my hair was considered "long hair perm" and charged me another $50 on top of what I had already agreed to. In the end, I paid $100 extra plus tip--double what I was told--leaving me feeling deceived and scammed. This was not what I signed up for when purchasing a Groupon. Transparency and honesty are very important, and I did not feel that was the case here. read more

The Thai hair spa experience is relaxing, and is totally worth it, book the extra 30 minutes for a 90-minute experience, you will not regret it! I also pair a 90-minute full massage with my experience, and it is the perfect touch for a relaxing afternoon. I have not tried the sauna, but I believe I will do so the next time I visit. I got upsold to add essential oil to my shampoo and added on a massage. Well worth it just be prepared. You pay up front so being cash for tip. They do charge $1 for using a card as most places do. Alina was my person. You get taken to a room to put on a towel up top. Then they come get you for the shampoo bed. Very nice. They blow dry your hair after and I was thinking omg my hair is so fine it usually tangles. But it didn't. While you are on the shampoo bed you get a massage of shoulders, arms and face and scalp. Since I added the massage to mine I went to another room. Great massage just wish more on my feet. I love my feet rubbed. The gentleman at the door was very sweet but I wouldn't recommend this place and I'll tell you why... I came across Groupon tell and since it is close to my job I decided to stop by. I paid $40 on Groupon but upon arriving $20 massages were advertised. No biggie just something I'd like to point out. When I walked in I told him that I wanted a lady to do my massage. He said ok and added that it would be a few minutes. After about 10 minutes he asks me to follow him, he takes me to an open room that has one curtain on one aside and another on the other, and asks me to take off my clothes. Nothing odd considering it's a massage place so I did. After about a few minutes I feel him starting to give me a massage. It was my fault for not stopping him or saying anything but deep down it made me very uncomfortable. I let him continue but through the massage he got up about 4 times to tend to other business, which meant I didn't get what paid for really. I can feel people walking by me and me being fully naked a part of me just wanted to run. I know I was just being paranoid so I let the gentleman finish the massage. I left still hanging him a $20 and thanked him. I'm giving the place 2 stars because it was descent looking and the gentleman was very kind but the level of discomfort I felt being there due to lack of privacy and not having a female masseuse available is the reason for this rating. ... side note: I tip everywhere I go but having a sign demanding tips and specifying the amount is completely unprofessional. read more

A man at the reception was extremely sweet and friendly, but I could only understand about half of what he said, which made me feel a bit awkward. Kaylee was responsible for my head spa treatment and the additional 30-minute massage I had booked. She did a great job--I'm quite picky when it comes to massages but I will definitely return. One thing I didn't appreciate was the tip suggestions displayed on the board. Tips should be voluntary, based on the quality of service, not mandatory. The absolute worst services I've ever had. My usual places were booked up and I really wanted a massage. I found them through Groupon and called to ensure they had availability. They asked what time and I initially asked "6:30-7?" The gentleman on the other line asked which time worked better, I said 7. As I'm on my way, at about 6:50, I get a call asking about my 6:30 appointment and I reminded him that we settled on 7. I get there and as I check in, they recommended some add on services. I was elated to see that they also offer scalp spa service. He said 30 min for $30, I agree. I run to the restroom and they show me where my room will be. After I'm done I go back to the front to verify my room number, as no one is around nor does it look ready. They say yes and show me back to the room telling me where to place my items. I undress and proceed to wait until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. The "therapist" comes in and removed the sheet from me while keeping a towel draped over me. Then proceeds to awkwardly give an unskilled stretch and "massage" over the towel for a few minutes. The next 45 minutes is a rushed step by step protocol he runs through with absolutely no care or skill. He awkwardly ran his elbows along my actual spine multiple times, punched bone, swatted and punched my behind. None of the massage was done to provide relief, but just steps to whatever their system is...no skill at all. Nothing felt good and in fact was very uncomfortable. At one point he raised my knees up, placed my feet in super hot water to soak and sat at the end of the table, he had zero care for modesty or privacy and got a full show. I don't think these people actually received any training for massage therapy and standards. So he finished the hour massage in 45 minutes. Thank god. He then tells me a lady will be in to get me. 10 minutes later a woman comes and takes me to the scalp spa service. They have a few tables and she lays me down shoving my head with force to guide me, instead of actually communicating or using gentle guidance. The service starts with her aggressively applying pressure to my forehead and hairline. Then they use tools aggressively on the scalp, relying on their use to make this sorry excuse for a scalp service palatable. She kept scrubbing my scalp with her nails vigorously, as a person who has gone to cosmetology school, we were taught not to do that. She does nothing that even resembles a scalp massage..but is literally just washing my hair with no focus on the scalp, other than to scratch it. There's no skill, no thought of making this a relaxing or soothing service, and obviously no actual training or education. She ripped through my hair while trying to comb it out and I was done. I skipped the offer for the blow dry and got dressed. This is one of those places where they come up front to make sure you tip them. I told her and the man at the front how unhappy I was and they said nothing. No apology, no offer to re try...what an absolute waste of my money and time. I still tipped, but I would never come back and I will make sure that everyone I know knows my experience. I get massages regularly and have done the whole scalp spa experience quite a few times...so I am aware on how these things SHOULD be. Save your money. read more

Massages were fine but I was scammed at the end of it when paying. I owed $120 at the end, I gave $200 in cash. When the cashier gave me back $80, I handed $50 of it back as a tip. Then, he was arguing that he gave me extra cash back (but he didn't) and he ended up grabbing the cash out of my hand so I ended up tipping $70 total. It was an over-the-top high-pressure tactic and I didn't want to make a scene because I was taking my girlfriend out for her birthday. But I was pissed and by the end, felt completely scammed even though it was just an extra $20 tip. It's the principle of it. Never coming back again. Gentleman in front was very friendly throughout the entire visit.
