Philly cheesesteak + pesto fries
Brittany B.

I visited on an overcast day but I could imagine this spot truly shines in the sunlight. This intimate cozy nook is punctuated by concentrated warm light, brick accents, deep wood tones, blissful tunes, and friendly people. What a win for Spring! I was greeted with a smile and a window display of sweet treats (including an ube cupcake). Everything I ordered arrived hot, fresh, and smelling delicious. The peppermint tea was peppermint tea, the Philly cheesesteak was flavorful. Could the "meat" pass for meat or the "cheese" pass for cheese, no. Does it matter, no. This lighter, flavorful take is a pretty impressive way to consume vegetables and I'm all for it. While the ube cupcake was a little denser than I'd prefer, the frosting was amazing, and I'm excited to try their other varieties. I'm so happy these folks are planted here! Excited to see them continue to blossom!

Decided to try two cupcakes: Toffe and lavender lemon. Both cupcakes were moist, the frosting was fluffy and light and not overtly sweet. It's been quite some time that I found a good cupcake spot and this will now be my go to for cupcakes. My favorite of the two was the lavender lemon. I'm sure the other flavors would be bomb but I had to control my sweet tooth and only chose these two. I also has the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with side of sweet potato fries was pleasantly amazing. I saved half for the partner and he loved it. For the Texture, flavor, portion size and price, you can't go wrong. He even wanted another one. Luckily I was nice enough to save half of mine. And he even ate it cold! Vegan or not. This place is legit. Service was super slow - friends finished their food before I even got mine. When I sat down they just got their food.

I first visited Wisdom a few years ago when I was visiting my family in Houston. This past weekend, my sister and I decided to pay a new visit since we were out and about and in the area. The ambiance is low on the lights but is super cozy with booth seats that make you feel like you are sinking in lol. For my entrée, I went with the "chicken" parm with sweet potato fries. I like that the texture was super crispy on the outside, but I guess there wasn't enough butter or oil or something because everything was falling apart easily. My sister ordered an iced latte which she thoroughly enjoyed, and a spicy "chicken" sandwich which was "just okay". The food was not spectacular, but it was indeed filling. The ladies working that day were super nice too!

I had ordered a light brown cake with red frosting roses with green leaves. I had someone else pick it up and when I saw it.. it was a light brown cake with rainbow sprinkles. I ended up removing the sprinkles at home and added some pecans to help to conceal any imperfections. I didn't want my birthday cake to look childish. It was pretty disappointing that I didn't get what I asked for or any heads up that they wouldn't be able to execute but the cake did taste good and pleased the non-vegans who had it. I'd just say be prepared for them to take their own creative freedom if you order a cake.

I visited family in Spring and decided to see if there were any new vegan spots and I came upon Wisdom Bakery & Cafe. The restaurant was elegantly decorated. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the cheesesteak, which was so delicious and flavorful. The sandwich was huge! I could barely bit the whole thing. I also ordered a strawberry cupcake. I really wanted to try a few more dishes that were on the menu but they were sold out of them. I'm definitely coming back!!

It's hard to find vegan options at restaurants (especially on the north side of town), and this entire restaurant is vegan! Score! We loved everything we ordered: The Spicy Chick'n Sandwich with Truffle Fries and the Chick'n Wrap with Garlic Fries. We also had dessert - the cupcakes are moist with the perfect amount of icing that's not too sweet. If you are vegan or looking for vegan options, this is a great place to check out! There's plenty of parking, but the cafe is quite small with very limited seating.

Chickpea "Tuna" sandwich on gluten free bread with truffle fries

The owner was definitely very wise when she opened this gem. I heard a lot of good things about Wisdom Bakery & Cafe and finally had a chance to try it out. Wisdom is a vegan bakery/ cafe and they also have a ton of gluten free options. I ordered online for pickup, very convenient and easy process. It was easy to find and really cute location. They have a cute covered outdoor patio. The inside is very welcoming and the staff were nice. They greeted me as soon as I walked in however I was distracted by the lovely smells and beautiful treats as soon as I walked in. The smell was heavenly the wonderful aroma of freshly baked goods. Oh how it reminded me of my grandma. I wanted everything in there lol. I had ordered an array of the vegan and gluten free options: soup joumou- a Traditional Haitian pumpkin soup, chickpea sandwich with truffle fries, an Ube cupcake, banana nut muffin, coffee cake muffin, and two cookies. Also, I got the special Dubai mocha latte and Chai latte. The soup joumou was delicious, it was creamy and full of flavor, it was hearty and filling 10/10. I wish it was a regular on the menu. I enjoyed the sandwich it was good chickpea sandwich 6.5/10. Good quality fries, they had the perfect amount of truffle oil it was not lacking or overwhelming 8.9/10. The Ube cupcake was everything I didn't know I needed it was super moist, bursting with Ube flavor, the topping was light and airy with just the perfect balance of sweetness. 10/10. Oh wow the banana nut muffin another star moist, mouthwatering muffin not overpowering with banana but beautifully balanced and the crumb topping was a perfect combination 9.8/10. I also enjoyed the coffee cake muffin, I prefer it warmed, it had a nice coffee and cinnamon flavor not overly sweet. A great muffin to go with your coffee 7.5/10. The cookies were delicious soft and chewy texture just sweet enough 8.5/10. The Dubai mocha latte, if you're a fan of mocha latte this is for you. It was smooth, creamy, chocolate goodness not overly sweet it was perfect 9.5/10. Chai latte are my favorite so I try them whenever I see a vegan version. This was a good iced latte I do wish the chai flavor was stronger 6.9/10. Overall I was really impressed with Wisdom Bakery the food is high quality, amazing and delicious options. It's a 5 out 5 for me and I am excited to try them out again really soon.

Free smells & smiles warm your belly as soon as you arrive. The atmosphere is the perfect set up for a business meeting, remote work space, or even a first date. They are known for their delicious baked goods (including but not limited to): -jumbo cupcakes -assorted muffins -sweet croissants -cookies -cheesecakes -cakes made to order I got a strawberry cheesecake for my non vegan friend on their birthday and they couldn't tell the difference!! Perfection! In addition to their bakery, they create vegan dishes to cater to comfort foodies & health conscious lovers. A #1 seller is their Spicy Chik'n Sandwich which is made with so much love I tried their cauliflower wings too (1/2 BBQ 1/2 Buffalo) & by far the best I've had to date. I couldn't leave without a chocolate cupcake because I mean, come on If that doesn't sell it for you, they offer breakfast & lunch, juices & smoothies, coffee & tea, AND lunch specials Tuesday-Friday, with a new dish every week! If you love good food, vegan or not, this is the place to be. Head over to Wisdom Bakery and get your eat on today!!

Excellent gluten free baked goods and cozy atmosphere. Space is a bit tight but excellent service. They also had cupcakes and meal options, with the majority of the menu having gluten free options. So good!

ut flaming Standing friendly service. Some of the best food I've ever had vegan or not. Tucked away in a strip centre in Spring . This jewel is worth the trip. I rarely venture outside inner loop. I give 5 stars even less often. I was impressed by the food and service. This is a first choice reasonably priced and just brilliant.so good I had to had to get coffee and dessert, and take home pastries. Made the trek from inside the loop again place just keeps getting better. I stopped in again for an orange mocha latte. Left with croissants. Both great tasting. The service is reasonably priced my 5 stars stand I visited 10.April. 22 after not having been here in a while all the above still applies. They gave expanded ample seating and added beer and wine.

You know, it gives gourmet without being pretentious. The bakery alone puts Common Bond in this category. If you can resist dessert order from the display case, I'm not sure you're human! The visuals and smells are always inviting, but the execution is not consistent. This time, in addition to my savory picks, It's been awhile so I thought I'd revisit my Common Bond review. This location is such a score for City Place. The only caffeine dealer apart from Starbucks walkable from the plaza, it's easy to see why patrons choose Common Bond.

Why 5 stars? Because there wasn't much not to like!…read more --- --- --- My wife had a hankering to visit Common Bond and this was the closest location to us. I'd been to one in Houston before, but just for coffee, but I had a good experience there, so I was down to try their food. There were a ton of great sweet and savory options on the menu, so ordering was a challenge, but we ended up grabbing a pretty big combination of both types of sustenance. Savory: I ordered the breakfast burger and it was really great. Normally I feel like an egg takes away from the flavor of a burger, but that was not the case here. I'm really pleased with my choice here, despite the temptation to go with several alternatives. 5-stars. My wife ordered the soft scramble, and I'll give it this: it was most definitely the softest, most gentle collection of eggs I've ever eaten. But I think I like my rendition of scrambled eggs better. 4-stars. Sweet: Pistachio Croissant: All boxes checked. 5-stars. Snickerdoodle Cookie: I offer all of my praise for this delight. 5-stars. Gingerbread whoopie pie: It wasn't called a whoopie pie, but that's what it was. Like the snickerdoodle cookie, I'm mad I had to share this. 5-stars. Coco-nut cookie: We thought this was a chocolate coconut cookie, but it turns out it was chocolate and nuts. Knowing this information, we would have opted for one of the other, more delicious looking cookies. It was still fine though. 3.5-stars. Drinks: I ordered the dragon fruit berry concoction with my meal, and in a rare moment of weakness, I couldn't resist the maple pecan cold brew, despite ordering black coffee 99% of the time. I'm here to say I enjoyed both of them very much, but the latter did taste more like a milkshake than a coffee. 5-stars for both, but I would definitely order the dragonfruit thing again. Way to go, Common Bond. Here I thought you were just a coffee place this whole time, but your food is pretty, pretty good too.

The Tea Kettle Cafe - The bread, warm and tender, was beautifully complemented by olive oil drenched with aromatic rosemary, savory garlic, and salt.

When it was time we got a call to come back and was seated and hosted by , she was sweet. We also got the fairy water for the baby girl. (She loves it) The grilled cheese and soup is so tasty and comes out hot which is also good for a soup. That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.
