Craig and Becky could have been judgmental of my novice status, but instead, not only welcomed me and treated me with respect and dignity, but really helped me get what I wanted. Craig guided me to buy a .22 rifle as a starter rifle, to get used to shooting comfortably. Then, when I wanted the Ruger Walnut stock on a rifle that came originally with a composite stock, he and Becky started a month-long journey of finding the stock, realizing the trigger guard was attached to original stock, ordering that, finding out internal pieces didn't fit and grinding the inside of the stock down to fit them, finding the trigger guard well was shaped differently and chiseling that out, finding the screws were too short and getting new ones that fit. It was nothing short of amazing. With this first gun, I wanted something special, and for me that was the Walnut stock - I got even more than that - a beautiful custom rifle which I am so happy with! Now, I'll be taking a rifle course with one of them to help me start my journey! I have rarely received such wonderful customer service nor met such great people. Please go here if you are looking for new or used guns AND great, knowledgeable people to buy them from. Whether you know nothing or everything about firearms you will not be disappointed!

So far I only have two of their products…read more The first item I purchased was their IWI X95 ejection port cover which was easy and simple to install. The next product was a big step up in seeing how great a company this is and that item was the Midwest Industries Rifle Length M-LOK Handguard which completely changes the handling, function and look of the IWI Galil Ace by a significant order of magnitude. I received my handguard during the Christmas holidays and was immediately impressed by the quality of the unit and immediately went to work following the YouTube instructions to attach the handguard. All the steps were easy and everything was going great with no problems right up to the final step of the final tiny little screw that should have been a breeze... unfortunately I experienced a small issue with the final bottom screw refusing to rotate in as the handguard seemed to not have any threading for the screw to lock into so I contacted support not expecting to hear anything as it was in the evening during the holidays BUT I soon got a response from Troy who gave some suggestions that might help but ultimately nothing worked and Troy remained fantastically helpful and promised to send me a new handguard ASAP after the holidays. Troy was a man of his word and followed up with quickly getting the replacement handguard shipped out to me and the new one assembled very easily with no issues. After numerous follow ups Andy finally said it was done. I went to pick it up and asked why the trigger was still bronze? He said it was newer version. I went outside and called the trigger manufacturer. They told me he was lying. I went back inside and confronted him. He told me would look into it. He finally told me he would refund the $120 I paid. I never received it. Again, STAY AWAY......he's a liar and a thief.

Finally convinced, he agreed to return it to his supplier for the correct item. Patiently waited months for it. Tried contacting him in every possible way and was completely ignored. Finally reaching him on his cell phone, I was unexpectedly told that he was unable to obtain the item for me. Strangely, other shops had informed me that it would be no problem for them to get what I wanted. Liebelt did promise to return my deposit in full. Promises were made to me over the next 5 months, with no funds being received. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As a result of refusing to respond to this organization, AK's Trading Post received an "F" rating on the BBB Website. As a last resort, I contacted the Town of Oconomowoc Police. Within a month of doing so, I finally received a check for the full amount due. My ordeal with this business went on for over a year and a half. Due to this individual's business practices, I can not recommend Andy Liebelt or AK's Trading Post to anyone.

When I brought it in, I was initially told I might have to go through the manufacturer for a replacement, which honestly felt like it was going to be a long and frustrating process. But to my surprise, about a week later, the store manager, Steve, personally reached out and let me know they were going to take care of it in-house. Not only did he make sure I got a working replacement pressure washer, but he also went above and beyond by refunding the gas they had to siphon from the old unit--and sent me home with a brand new gas can, filled with the gas they removed. The whole process was handled with professionalism and care, and it really turned what could have been a disappointing situation into a positive one. Steve and the rest of the Fleet Farm team showed that they genuinely value their customers and stand behind the products they sell. This kind of customer service is rare nowadays. I left feeling valued and appreciated, and I'll definitely be continuing to shop at this location. Big thanks again to Steve and the team!

Won't honor their own price match policy and when denying, they quote unwritten rules…read more I recently went in to purchase a resin shed, price matching to Home Depot. It was the same brand, model number, and condition (new, undamaged). However, they declined the match saying it had to be available for same day pickup AND within a 50 miles radius of the location I was at. No where in their published policy does it list either of those conditions. If that is true, update your policy or honor it. Don't makeup rules to justify denying a match.

They responded quickly, which was good, and told me I'd have to call to order. I called the next day, navigated the phone tree, and spoke to a salesman for about 5 seconds. The salesman put me on hold for 20-30 minutes. I didn't have that much time to waste, so I hung up. When I called back a few hours later, I was told that they couldn't process any sales because their system was down. I gave them my information and they said they'd give me a call when it was back up. Two days later, I still hadn't heard from them so I sent another email. I never got a response, and still haven't gotten a call back (this all happened 2 weeks ago). If you want to do business with these people, get ready for the run around...or just shop elsewhere.
