We finished with the chocolate mousse, which was good, although again, nothing extraordinary. Service was quick and efficient, and our reservation meant we were seated promptly. The atmosphere is cozy and tucked away from the tourist crowds, making it a nice place to settle in for a meal. If you come here, get the lamb stew. That alone makes this place worth a visit!

The server just whips the cream and fluff up with mousse, serve two big dollops of chocolate mousse under the whipped cream on a plate. 4.5/5 Their best dishes are German and French which makes them truly Swiss. I left feeling satisfied. The restroom is downstairs. They have a wall of fame with pictures of celebrities and politicians that have dined at Old Swiss House such as Frank Sinatra, Pres. While the veal was tender and packed with flavor, the risotto cleansed the palate and kept the dish light and summer-y. There was an herbed butter served with the veal that was so incredible that could live on that alone - truly a wonderful meal!
