After a nagging lower back issue that lasted for months, I went to see Steven for the first time and after two sessions the improvement was remarkable. My lower back issue was creating deferral pain down my leg and obviously the back was aching. After each session there was dramatic improvement. Especially after the second. My only complaint is that he doesn't take insurance. But I have been to other chiropractors that do, and their treatment wasn't nearly as effective. I'm going to regularly visit Steven to prevent the issues I have had.

He was a very personable person and seemed to know his stuff. He didn't have a huge staff nor claim that adjustments would cure colds or itchy feet. A big part of his treatment is soft tissue massage before your adjustment. Never one to turn down a great massage I welcomed the treatment. He has very strong hands and fingers and will warn you to tell him about pressure. Dr. Steve is very up to date on technology. You can even pay with Apple Pay and he will email you the receipt, which you sign on his iPad. Good experience.

I have been to a LOT of chiros through the years and several here in the area but these two raise the bar. They really listen, take their time with you, give you gentle adjustments (Claire does muscle release only, which never hurts, it's actually really cool), and don't give you the baloney you usually get where chiros usually try to make you come 3x a week or whatever. I got lots of info about supplements which have greatly helped my arthritis, and Will caught my B-6 absorption deficiency: so now I take a supplement and have color in my cheeks again! Who knew? Mark Herro, LicAc is an excellent acupuncturist, with a creative mind, extensive training, and a warm and genuine interest in working with you to address your issues. Again, I have had lots of acupuncture over the years, but he is in a class by himself. A pleasure to work with. It is hard to get an appt with Will...you will wait for months. If you suspect any kind of allergy problems, make an appt now. It is worth the wait. He uses strength testing, not the scratches, to diagnose you, and can often painlessly "re-set" your system to alleviate if not remove the allergy (sounds nuts, I know, but now I am not allergic to my cats anymore!). After having lived in the Monterey Peninsula for three years I found myself in dire need of some body treatment for a very sprained neck. I couldn't turn my head to the right for over three weeks and the pain wouldn't go away. When I lived in the Bay Area I was attended to by a "bone cracker." No matter the aliment the treatment was always the same-- a lot of bone cracking. I met Rich Kehoe one day on the golf course about a year ago. Enjoyed our round of golf and learned he was a long time Carmel Chiropractor. Ironically, last week we were playing again, explained my injury and Rich went into action calling his office and setting up the appointment, Wow talk about service... Next day I went in to an initial visit and treatment, about an hour total. In the past I never saw the doc for more than 5 minutes hands on. Here I sat in a chair while he probed for pain points, neck, shoulders, upper back etc. We discussed history and then he had his assistant do a vibrating massage on the affected areas. Next came a heat pad. Finally the Doc came in and inexperienced first had the (my words) magic incline device. A mechanical marvel that lets him raise, lower, the entire table. Well not really a table but more like a 6 ft bench with face rest and a wild looking Lego, metal engineering frame beneath to allow him to raise or lower specific sections of the table to work on certain body areas. Hard to explain. Zero pain when he did this , maybe a bit noisy but no sweat. While doing any movements he explained what he was doing each time. Very gentle process. I know TMI. But hey, the area has lots of Chiropractors and choosing one isn't easy. And each person is different in terms of what they want. I'd say the Doc is a Crawl, Walk, Run guy. He'll use the best treatment based on his assessment of your ailment and your body. If you're not a candidate for the bone crack he won't do it. I went twice - 2 X in 3 days. He said to me "I won't need to schedule you for another visit." Seriously? Most want to see you 3x a week.....honest man here. But the proof is in the pudding, I feel great. Give him a call.
