I have worked with three of the practitioners at the clinic…read more I have been really helped by chiropractors Wilson Smith (Applied Kinesiology/Strength Testing), and Claire Parrish (soft tissue release). I have been to a LOT of chiros through the years and several here in the area but these two raise the bar. They really listen, take their time with you, give you gentle adjustments (Claire does muscle release only, which never hurts, it's actually really cool), and don't give you the baloney you usually get where chiros usually try to make you come 3x a week or whatever. I got lots of info about supplements which have greatly helped my arthritis, and Will caught my B-6 absorption deficiency: so now I take a supplement and have color in my cheeks again! Who knew? Mark Herro, LicAc is an excellent acupuncturist, with a creative mind, extensive training, and a warm and genuine interest in working with you to address your issues. Again, I have had lots of acupuncture over the years, but he is in a class by himself. A pleasure to work with. It is hard to get an appt with Will...you will wait for months. If you suspect any kind of allergy problems, make an appt now. It is worth the wait. He uses strength testing, not the scratches, to diagnose you, and can often painlessly "re-set" your system to alleviate if not remove the allergy (sounds nuts, I know, but now I am not allergic to my cats anymore!). I have chronic arthritis and neck problems and these three have kept me in one piece!

On my first visit I chuckled quite a bit when he did some muscle-strength testing (part of Applied Kinesiology) to better understand the problems my body was experiencing. A few taps here, a few taps there with my my arm raised... well I left feeling pretty good then noticed my neck pain went away. I hadn't been able to sleep using a pillow for months and now I was able to. I've experienced a handful of chiropractors and I won't say that one is better than another. However, if you run out of options and you are still in pain then give Dr. Wilson Smith a whirl, it can't hurt if he can fit you in. It took me a month or two of waiting but it was so worth it.

I feel so strongly about Rikke's therapy that I have to share with others... My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 1 year and 3 months. Both my husband and I are 36 and he was diagnosed with low sperm count and motility. We had been worked up at an IVF clinic and had done two egg retrievals with no euploid embryos to show for it. We were at our lowest of lows, desperate and starting to feel pretty hopeless. Our fertility specialist was starting to talk about sperm donors, but we felt strongly about having children with our own genes. A friend told me about Rikke Blessing right around this time. She was also using her during IVF treatments and was raving about her. Boy was she right! Neither my husband nor myself had ever done acupuncture, but we both trusted Rikke immediately with her calming nature. We both left sessions relaxed and revived. In addition to the acupuncture, Rikke helped us with lifestyle changes, diet, supplements, etc to improve sperm and egg quality! Rikke is a very special human being who genuinely wants to help her patients. Anyone who has gone through IVF knows it is an emotional rollercoaster and I don't know if we could have gotten through this process without her. After taking a break from our first two IVF cycles, working with Rikke through acupuncture and lifestyle changes, we had success with euploid embryos during our third IVF round! We stayed and worked with Rikke for several rounds of IVF(all of which were successful) until we had enough embryos stashed. I'm now 27 weeks pregnant with a baby boy!!
