If you've experienced infertility then you know how deeply personal and vulnerable sharing your experience can be. I feel so strongly about Rikke's therapy that I have to share with others... My husband and I had been trying to conceive for 1 year and 3 months. Both my husband and I are 36 and he was diagnosed with low sperm count and motility. We had been worked up at an IVF clinic and had done two egg retrievals with no euploid embryos to show for it. We were at our lowest of lows, desperate and starting to feel pretty hopeless. Our fertility specialist was starting to talk about sperm donors, but we felt strongly about having children with our own genes. A friend told me about Rikke Blessing right around this time. She was also using her during IVF treatments and was raving about her. Boy was she right! Neither my husband nor myself had ever done acupuncture, but we both trusted Rikke immediately with her calming nature. We both left sessions relaxed and revived. In addition to the acupuncture, Rikke helped us with lifestyle changes, diet, supplements, etc to improve sperm and egg quality! Rikke is a very special human being who genuinely wants to help her patients. Anyone who has gone through IVF knows it is an emotional rollercoaster and I don't know if we could have gotten through this process without her. After taking a break from our first two IVF cycles, working with Rikke through acupuncture and lifestyle changes, we had success with euploid embryos during our third IVF round! We stayed and worked with Rikke for several rounds of IVF(all of which were successful) until we had enough embryos stashed. I'm now 27 weeks pregnant with a baby boy!! THANK YOU so much Rikke, you truly are a blessing!!! read more

So grateful that Rikke was able to accommodate me last time I called to see if she could squeeze me in at a short notice. I was in a lot of pain and discomfort that I couldn't do my daily routine and sleep well. She definitely helped so much and days later my pain is GONE!! She also helped me with one issue I had from my cycling accident last year. Yea, it lasted that long. I did therapy on my own and it was healing slowly. When I saw her recently for a different concern, I remembered to mention it to her and she fixed it in one session! read more

Blessing Acupuncture - Took this picture while waiting for my acupuncturist for, like, 5 seconds. - Acupuncture Near Me - Monterey, California

As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable and was greeted warmly. Rikke has an amazingly healing presence. I didn't have any expectations going into our session but I was blown away with the results. I felt like a weight that had been pressing down on me for years was taken off. Until I experienced the healing of her practice I thought that always being in the rapid pace of fight or flight mode was the only way to get things done. After two miscarriages I came to her for help and I'm very happy that I did. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is. Do yourself a favor and book a session. read more

Words cannot express what a blessing Dr. Blessing is. She really has the perfect name. She is an outstanding and amazing woman and so talented at what she does. My story is personal, but as I write this review I hope you will find the urge to reach out to Dr. Blessing like I did. Drs told me that I would not be able to have children as I struggle with PCOS. I was officially diagnosed at the PCOS clinic in San Francisco. I saw many specialists that day and felt discouraged after I left. I had many eggs but it would be nearly impossible to allow one to become a baby one day. I found Dr. Blessing through a quick google search although I had already was willing to drive to LA or SF once a week to get treatments. Ya right would I find someone so talented and who legitimately knows the human body. I was so wrong. I found Dr. Blessing and went in. I was scared and excited to see what she might be able to help me with. She listened to me as she asked the right questions to get a sense of where my body was. I immediately had a session and then continued weekly for the next year. I immediately got my period after 3 sessions with Dr. Blessing. I hadn't had one without birth control for a long long time. I went from 60 day cycles to 30 day cycles to pregnant to a son. Without Dr. Blessing I would not be a mommy. She was able to help me allow my body to do what God created it to do naturally, just with some help! I did take some herbs, which were the most horrible tasting things....but it did help with my cycle. I encourage you to be patient as every body is different. I went weekly for a YEAR before I got pregnant, but it was worth it. Dr. Blessing didn't just become my acupuncturist but a dear friend. Poor Dr. Blessing became my listening ear every week, my cheerleader and encouragement when I didn't think it was worth it anymore to continue my sessions. Thank you Rikke for your service to me. Being a mommy is amazing and I wouldn't be one without you. I recommend anyone and everyone to visit Dr. Blessing. read more

I can't express how much Rikke Blessing has helped me. My husband and I have been battling infertility for over two years now. I became almost depressed going through this. Finally a friend, who works in the medical industry, referred me over to Rikke. After going to Rikke, I became happier, healthier, and stronger. Not only does Rikke Blessing help me with my infertility, but she has helped me during sessions with my sinuses / allergies and migraines. Rikke gives her patients an immense amount of emotional support and great advice. I leave Rikke's office feeling the best me possible. She specializes in women's health, including; trying to conceive, infertility, pregnancy, post pregnancy, and menopause. She is not limited to women's health though, she also helps with all of our aches, pains, and medical conditions. To sum it up, Rikke Blessing truly is, "a blessing". read more

(This review is being written by my wife) Rikke is, in a word, awesome! I saw her consistently for the duration of my last pregnancy, as well as post partum. I firmly believe that seeing Rikke on a regular basis is a large reason why I had a uncomplicated pregnancy. Not only is Rikke professional, well educated, and extremely knowledgeable, she is also incredibly supportive and empathetic. If you are seeking acupuncture for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or even just acupuncture in general, I can not more enthusiastically recommend Rikke's services. Make your appointment to see her today! read more

As I reflect on the care providers I am most grateful for, Rikke is at the top of the list. She helped me get pregnant, feel my best during pregnancy, and heal after pregnancy. The results exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be more grateful to her for her role in bringing my daughter into this world. Rikke was always compassionate, professional, and very knowledgeable. She listened to all my concerns and provided an empathetic ear or expert feedback as needed. I always had many questions, and she addressed each one of them patiently, offering extremely valuable insights. I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to be under her care during one of the most critical periods of my life. She is truly the best of the best. read more

Rikke is a wonderful healer ! I have been on treatment for the past 9 months and I see her once every week. After every session my body is always more relaxed, and my nerves are more calm. She has a special aura and her gentle style helps in the healing and is very comforting and reassuring. She has a holistic approach in that every time I'm down with a cold, alongside the treatment she makes extra efforts to alleviate my symptoms for a faster recovery ! I admire her deep understanding of human physiology and patho-physiology, of which I have some idea as I studied medicine a long time ago ! Her new place is really awesome too, serene and soothing. I would also like to add, as I am not the most organised or planned person, Rikke has been most gracious, flexible and accommodating with my appointment scheduling. Treatment at Blessings has infused me with new hope for that I am very grateful and would definitely recommend it for infertility issues! read more

Rikke Blessing is just that, a blessing! My husband and I tried to get pregnant for many years. I have no doubt that my fertility acupuncture treatments with Rikke was instrumental in helping us to finally achieve our goal and we now have a beautiful, healthy baby. I have also seen Rikke for pain treatment and I joined her prenatal Pilates class her at the Monterey Pilates Studio. She tailors her treatments specifically to each individual. She listens and understands, she soothes and guides. Her acupuncture helped my body sustain my baby, helped me manage my pain and her Pilates instruction helped my body stay fit and flexible in preparation for labor. If I were going to try to conceive again I wouldn't change a thing, I would continue to work with Rikke every step of the way read more

Rikke is a very good and knowledgable acupuncturist and Chinese medicine doctor. Rikke can speak and read Chinese fluently which makes it easy to explain certain Chinese medical terms with her that English simply does not translate. Rikke healed my chronic gut issues and explained and answered all my questions thoroughly. If you are suffering from chronic illness and all the meds don't seem to be that helpful, she may just be the solution for you. It is truly a blessing to have her in the Monterey peninsula. read more

Rikke is amazing!! She is such a caring and kind person. She really goes above and beyond to help in any way she can and I can't thank her enough for all she's done to help me with my chronic wrist pain. I went to her for help with my chronic pain, but she was able to help me with the chronic pain AND the emotional problems I was struggling with at the time. She has helped me heal my mind, body, and spirit. Highly recommend! read more

Yup, I am peri-menopasal.... I wrote a review many years ago when I went to Rikke for infertility. She was amazing!!! She helped get my cycles on track and with little chance of naturally conceiving, we did! I have a beautiful 4+ year old little girl. I attribute this blessing (pun intended) to Rikke and her amazing acupuncture and herbs. Now I am in my mid 40's and my "moods" were becoming an issue. All the issues with sore breasts from hormone imbalances seemed to be back - with a vengeance! I called Rikke to help me with this new "phase" and I am SOOOO happy I did! After just a month of acupuncture and herbs, I felt back!!! My moods were not extreme and my body no longer hurt during different cycle periods. It has been 6+ months and I have a noticeable difference if I miss some sessions due to life demands. Rikke is highly recommended by this woman for all things female. She helped me with infertility and breastfeeding issues, and over the years she has also helped with stress and back issues. Now she is helping me with menopause. I am forever grateful to find this wonderful woman. I have also started Pilates with her. I will do another update once I complete my group! :) read more

Working with Rikke improved the quality of my life. I followed Rikke's guidance on a number of topics and have experienced significant relief from years of chronic pain. I saw her first for acupuncture then for pilates coaching. Her acupuncture practice is superior to others I've experienced in the past. She stays current on new and emerging developments in her field and brings that knowledge to her clients. The trust I developed with her in acupuncture lead me to take pilates instruction from her. This has been life changing. Through consistent practice with her so many nagging ailments have been addressed and I'm so thankful. read more

Rikke was highly recommended by a close friend of mine, and I can't say enough good things about her or the healing powers of acupuncture. Whether you are using acupuncture to compliment other fertility treatments or solely getting acupuncture, I highly recommend it throughout the process of trying to conceive as well as throughout your pregnancy. It has really helped me to have an easy pregnancy thus far and it is proven to reduce a lot of the negative symptoms of pregnancy such as nausea. Rikke is very knowledgeable about pregnancy symptoms and what to expect, and she's always happy to answer any questions you may have which is a nice addition to the little time you may have with your obgyn or midwife. The new space is very serene too, and every time I leave a session I feel extremely relaxed. read more

The welcoming and calm environment was very relaxing. I always looked forward to my appointments. I cannot recommend Blessing Acupuncture enough! read more

I wasn't normally one for natural healing practices, but I wanted to try acupuncture for general ailments like shoulder pain, stress, and anxiety. My co-workers highly recommended Rikke and I have been going to her for one year and a half now. She has a very calming disposition and really knows what she's doing. She takes HSA / HRAs, which helps generally healthy people, take advantage of their employer health benefits. I'm a convert for sure! read more

I have been seeing Rikke Blessing for about 10 years. She has helped me through a multitude of issues ranging from joint inflammation & pain to lack of energy to managing the toll stress can take on the body. Most recently I was suffering from plantar faciitis which was so painful that I started walking funny resulting in sciatica. Rikke thoughtfully and carefully treated me several times a week for about a month and cured both. I remember telling her it was a miracle! I continue to see Rikke on a regular basis to manage general well being. Every visit leaves me refreshed and peaceful! read more

Rikke is an absolute treat! I feel very fortunate to have found her. I was originally seeing Rikke for her help with my IVF journey. She makes me feel very confident in her methods and relaxed every time I see her. She's also very educated on the topic of fertility and is able to answer any questions I have. I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant with twins and I will continue to see her throughout my pregnancy. She was also able to address a shoulder issue that I was having, unrelated to IVF or my pregnancy. read more

If you're researching Rikke, you're likely wanting to conceive a child. I know how extremely sensitive this situation is. Because of a medical condition, I was told by two different doctors that I wouldn't be able to have kids easily. My periods were few (3-5 times a year) and I likely didn't ovulate. If I did conceive I would more than likely miscarry. So I absolutely understand that desire to become and be a mother. Also, I'm in the medical profession. Therefore I can give you a perspective based on these point of views. I decided to do acupuncture and herbal teas because if I wasn't meant to naturally have children I didn't want to subject myself to medications and/or procedures. I was willing to accept God's will. And I acknowledge eastern medicine as a legitimate form of treatment for certain ailments. Here are the facts regarding my case: I first saw her May 1, 2013 and was pregnant by the end of June. My son was born late Feb 2014. She listened to what my symptoms were, in relation to my monthly cycles, and instinctually knew what she needed to needle. This in combination with the herbal teas were extremely effective. Rikke was also quite knowledge of medical conditions, anatomy, and medical pathophysiology, clearly explaining to me what was going on within my body based on my symptoms and their timing. I was pretty impressed seeing that she also owned several of the medical tomes/books I had studied out of. Not only had Rikke played a part with helping me getting pregnant, she helped with some of the symptoms I experienced during the pregnancy: headaches, nausea, sciatica, and severe neuropathy of my leg. Not only that, she was a great resource during my pregnancy, offering advice and wisdom to ease my mind during the three trimesters. I was glad to visit her every week because it felt like a date with a girlfriend. She was there from beginning to end of my pregnancy, so she knew everything that was going on. It was an investment going every week, but well worth the money. I have my son (whom doctors said would never exist) and a new lifelong friend. read more

Wow where to start with the amazing Rikke. I can't recommend this woman enough. She not only helped me conceive my child after having an irregular cycle, but also is who I run to for ANY health concern. Acupuncture can heal/help so many issues so do not be afraid to just call and ask!! She is honest and will tell you if she believes she can help you AND will stay on the phone explaining (in terms you can understand) exactly what is going on in your body. I have never walked out of any doctor apt feeling as knowledgeable as I do after visiting Rikke. I am not only hooked on the medicine of acupuncture, but pray that Rikke will never be moving from this town! Thank you so much for everything Rikke! You are incredible! read more

Words do not express how thankful I am that I found Rikke. When I first came to her over a year and a half ago, I was broke. Literally. I was loosing a battle with autoimmunity that involved unbalanced hormones and 75% hair loss, I was nearly bald, I couldn't sleep through the night and could barely hold a thought. Rikke worked closely with my naturopathic doctor and referred to all the tests I had run to determine the correct course of treatment. Each session she reminded me that the power to heal was within my grasp. Each session she celebrated the small wins with me while encouraging me even more. She helped me stay the path of the major life changes I had to make by offering gentle encouragement and honest advice. Rikke listened actively and deeply to what I said and perhaps more importantly, what I didn't say. She is a skilled partner in healing and I am forever grateful that I found her. I know she is part of the reason that today, a year and a half later, I have a full head of hair, balanced hormones and my autoimmunity is in remission. read more
