People should be aware that this business does not belong to Doctor Bozo anymore. Doctor Brazil now…read moreowns and operates the practice. The business owned by Dr. brazil is not listed separately l on yelp, therefore I am leaving the review here. My wife made had been going while owned by docotr Bozo for a few years. She then kept seeing doctor Brazil during her pregnancy. Its been about 1 year since she has been there. Her hips were bothering her and she made an appointment about 2 weeks ahead. My wife's insurance has been the same provider the entire time, mind you. The busienss no longer accepts my wife's insurance provider. They did not inform my wife of this change, which they as a business decided to change. Then my wife goes in for the appointment and gets there 10 minutes early. She is waiting around for about 10 minutes and is shown to a room. Then waits abother 10 minutes. Then they come in and tell her they have to change which room she will be treated in. Ok. She switches the rooms and waits what seems to be another 10 minutes. So they had 30 minutes give or take of my wife waiting around and they did not tell her that her insurance would not be covering the visit. They gave her an exam and treated her. Then she goes to the counter to give them her insurance card and they say oh we no longer accept them it will be $80.00 cash or credit. This business had multiple opportunities to inform my wife that her visit would not be covered by her insurance prior to her being seen and failed to do so. So my wife tells me what happened and I am obviously upset as this is npt ethical business practice to treat someone and then tell them ha gotchya. Highly unethical way to run a busienss. So i call to complain. I talk personally that Doctor Brazil on the phone and i explain what happened. I am told well im sorry that happened. Ok sorries don't pay the bills. I said its a big pill to swallow when you don't ever pay anything for your visits and then are surprised at the end of one with an $80.00 bil. Dr. Brazil then stated they had to stop taking that insurance because they weren't paying their business enough money. I again said ok thats fone but you needed to tell my wife prior to treating her to which i was told i will have to talk to my staff and retrain them. That must have gotten missed at some point. I said okay. And no offer for a refund or a partial refund, instead i am told well our prices are actually much cheaper than other chiropractors in the area. I am so disappointed this is how you treat a long time customer. Needless to say we will be exploring other options. Just be aware they may treat you then surprise bill you.

She really knows how to adjust using different approaches for each of us as her skill level is off the charts!! When completed we each feel a wave of relief from the session and often just sit in the car and fall asleep as we feel so good! If that wasn't enough she also has an amazing personality and makes each session fun which isn't what you normally think of when seeing a chiropractor. We also see Dr Sanchez who also works there and we are also amazed by her. She is meticulous in her approach culminating in the deepest adjustment I have ever felt in my lower back and neck. Her skill level is also off the charts and I look forward to seeing both of them as they are each equally as good in different ways. The staff there are also excellent providing heat and massages making the process smooth. I can't say enough good things about Dr Brazil and Dr Sanchez! 10/10 stars!!!!!

I'm not sure why I haven't written a review yet. I could have sworn I did...either way, this review…read moreis overdue. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Chris Montellese and I can safely say that he saved my back and is the reason why I am walking today. The short review: Very knowledgeable doctors - them bone aligning adjustments, great front staff - they're really nice, and everyone has impeccable bedside manner - I mean impeccable with 5 stars at the end but no stars are shown because Yelp says no symbols allowed. My really long story: All throughout high school, I had back pain that continuously got worse. No one believed me. Not my parents, siblings, doctors, or teachers. My timeline is a bit fuzzy but I think right after I graduated high school, the pain was so bad that it hurt to walk. At one point, I had to crawl/drag myself to the restroom because it was too painful to walk. My parents thought I was exaggerating about the pain and just told me to rest. So I took matters into my own hands and Googled for possible reasons and eventually stumbled on chiropractic care and immediately searched for chiropractors in the area. I found the Montellese website and Dr. Montellese's bio mentioned that he treated athletes with injuries. In my head I figured, "If someone can find out what's wrong with me, it's him." I can't remember if I called or sent an inquiry via the website but the office got back to me fairly quickly and fit me in within a week despite their busy schedule. When I went in, Dr. Montellese was surprised at how young I was and I was kind of scared he wouldn't believe me too. I thought he would just ask a few questions, pop a few bones, and I would be on my way. Imagine my surprise when he sat down, asked me a series of medical questions, and became genuinely concerned with each response. It was a very uplifting moment psychologically and emotionally. This stranger that I had never met in my life was taking my medical issues seriously and wasn't just brushing them off as crazy, attention seeking antics. I don't know if he ever realized how much he helped me that day so, Chris, if you're reading this - thank you! After talking about my medical history, my pain levels, how I felt, etc. for quite a while, he moved on to evaluating and adjusting. I remember him asking for my age again and I told him and asked why he was asking. Basically, he couldn't believe what a state my back was in. Well, that made two of us. He did adjustments that he could but I remember my back was VERY tight that day even after resting for a few days prior. He gave me a few stretches and exercises to do at home and I went on to see him every month or two for the next year before I moved. During the time I had seen him, my condition stayed fairly stable and I was good. But I noticed my condition wasn't the best when I moved and stopped getting adjustments. Finally, a little over a year later, I moved back for school and I started getting adjustments again. But some time later, despite my adjustments, my back pain came back and I could tell that if I didn't do something, I was going to be bedridden again. During this time, I was working a lot and staying up late in chairs studying for school. I'm pretty sure that took a toll on my body. I went to Dr. Montellese for help and he said my condition wasn't normal and ordered an MRI. The results came back and showed that I had a torn disc that caused nerve pinching and arthritis along my back. I was stunned. I mean, I was in my early 20's at the time so what do you mean a torn disc AND arthritis!? He then referred me to a physical therapist and told me I could still get adjustments if I wanted to but he strongly recommended therapy. I opted for both. Fast forward about 8 months later, I could run. Like on a beach!! My pain was barely there and I only had minor flare ups due to weather or physical strain. I was amazed. And then I got into an accident about 7 months later and my back was a hot mess again. I began physical therapy and regular adjustments a second time and was able to get past it. All of this is to say, chiropractic care and physical therapy DOES WORK. But you need a good chiropractor and therapist. Also, be your loudest advocate for your health. Find someone who will LISTEN to what you're saying and try to help you. Nowadays, my pain levels are manageable and I can live normally. But I realize that I do feel more pain now as I'm getting older. Unfortunately, the fountain of youth hasn't been found yet and there isn't a medication for old age lol Because of my torn disc, I have discussed surgery options with Dr. Montellese but I don't think I need it yet. My regular adjustments allow me to live life pretty well aside from random flare ups. If I do need surgery in the future, I'm sure I'll ask for his guidance when that time comes.

I developed a running injury that was not getting better. I left Dr. Kirby a message on Sunday, and they got back to me Monday late afternoon. I called them back within the hour and left another message. I didn't hear back from them Tuesday, so tried again and left a message on Wednesday that said something like, "hey this is my third message, please give me a call back." Got a VM two hours later that said, "we checked our caller ID and don't see that you called three times...." Um. Yeah. I still tried calling again. They didn't pick up. The receptionist called back pretty quickly and I told her that I was disappointed with the customer service because every time I called it went to VM and then most recently when I received a called back the caller questioned my integrity ("we checked our caller ID and didn't see you called..."). Instead of apologizing, she went on the defensive, saying their office is very busy and they return their phone calls within 30 minutes (which I know is not true because all my calls except this past have been hours or days later) and that they checked the caller ID and my number wasn't on there. I laughed and said, "I see. So you're calling me a liar." She said, no (but yes), "maybe you called the wrong office" I just laughed. But really. I just wanted to schedule an appointment.
