Dave was able to expertly run network cable from my basement to camera locations outside the house. All the internal and external cabling was clean and hidden from view. Even though they were a brand unknown to him, he had the knowhow to adapt and get my 5 cameras mounted and plugged in. I was switching to fiber optic with Optimum and their installer was unable to complete the install. He didn't know what to do. I called Wireman/Cableman- Dave- to install the necessary phone jacks. Physicians office relies heavily on fax machine . Dedicated fax line stopped working called wireman answered and met me next day which was Saturday at 830 .. prompt arrival .. discussed issue and then he went to work and after some talking out loud and narrowing down issue the line is up and running in about 30 minutes time .. so nice to have guy who is independent instead of the big corps.. highly recommend for these wiring type jobs.. now he is stored in my phone as wireman for all my future needs ! read more

Wow - where even to start with Dave. Maybe do not start with him. He tries to cheat and then lies about it. Dave's philosophy - make five holes, measure never. Just go with the flow. Tape measure - no. Correct wall plate - no thanks - just make an extra hole in a wall plate made for something else (no one will notice as it is behind other things). Use an in-wall extension cord - nope - just place an extension cord in the wall. Hide wires - no - just place them behind a drawer so that the drawer then can't close. Dave does not even come close to doing professional work. Dave said he was going to use Cat6e wire but substitute Cat5 and then lied about it. Changed to Cat6 when we noticed (we wouldn't have noticed but the painter had to remove a wall plate and there it was - Cat5 in more than one place). Dave pretended he did not know the difference, the wholesaler said it was the same thing, it "really doesn't make a difference" and many other excuses. He did change the cables that we found. On the second day, after the 1st day was a disaster, Dave showed up 2 hours early (when we were not at home). We had told him when we would be arriving as we were moving. The painter and my daughter let Dave in but my daughter did not want to deal with Dave as he was an overall unpleasant guy. I told Dave not to start the wiring until I got home (1/2 an hour) and asked him to hang the shelf in the garage that he was supposed to do. I thought is safe to allow him to hang a shelf unsupervised. Sure enough, Dave made three more unnecessary holes in the wall to place wires instead of hanging the shelf. He said he would tell the painter to fix the holes - I had to repeatedly tell Dave not to discuss any work with the painters (who had already preped the walls in the room where Dave made new holes.) Dave insisted in payment in cash (so he could pay his assistant). I paid most in cash but sent some over Zelle. He couldn't figure out how why the amount in his bank account was lower than what I just paid him and had me check his bank account (with his phone). I and my daughter showed Dave how he was overdrawn. Guess it could happen to anyone but this guy is a disaster. I had to fire him 1/2 way though the job as he was so disorganized, lying, and inept. I gave Dave a 1 but he rates a zero. read more

Verizon installed a shoddy wire-up for my internet upstairs and the connection was spotty. Dave was able to help me run a wire ACROSS THE WHOLE HOUSE and tucked everything away neatly. Dave came to install my tv and hide the wires..fast forward 3 years I get a new cable box go to switch it out and discover the hole he put in my wall I could have done this myself - horrible! I know better and should have read the reviews first. Spoke to Dave on a Tuesday and made an appointment for the following Saturday. Told him what I needed and he quoted $200 cash which I was fine with. He never showed, never called and did not respond to my voice message. I contacted Verizon afterwards. They came a few days later and spent about 5 minutes to plug in the new equipment with no charge for the service call. Incredible. I learned my lesson and fortunately came out ahead of the game. very bad experience. this man dave went to my mother in laws house to wire their equipment (cable box, Tandberg receiver, JVC turntable, speakers etc.) they hired a carpenter to build a custom wall unit which included a wire chase for him to utilize. the guy with all "28 years experience" - we looked up your license, your license is less than a year old. complained, complained, complained. Told them to buy a $100 receiver from pc richards. Really? do some research Dave - Tandberg, which you obviously never heard of- is an extremely high end receiver. The "wireman" shouldnt own a drill, or be allowed to use one, he drilled multiple holes all over the custom built in wall unit that he never put a wire through. Really? He encountered many snags ( beams that would not permit him to drill through the wall, short cables etc. ) Dave tackled every snag confidently and succeeded in getting our TV and cable up and running in no time.
