Outstanding service. Super nice guy. He hung our outdoor tv perfectly and walked me through the entire process.

Steve came and installed my Starlink satellite dish and cable. It was working when he left, but then a problem arose that was not initially apparent. So I called him, and he offered to come and fix the problem right away. He came, and the problem was fixed in a satisfactory manner. He's an honest man. read more

Dave was professional, efficient and experienced with installing a phone jack and removing all the unnecessary cable wires after installing an Apple TV. We highly recommend,Dave! read more

Dave paid an initial visit to properly price out the job. We then scheduled for Dave and his team to come back and they did a great job putting up 2 new TVs and switching out 2 existing TVs in addition to a few misc items. All 4 TVs were mounted just right and they hid all the wires. Wireman team went above and beyond and helped me out with 2 things without charging extra. We were very happy with the service. read more

Dave was able to expertly run network cable from my basement to camera locations outside the house. All the internal and external cabling was clean and hidden from view. Even though they were a brand unknown to him, he had the knowhow to adapt and get my 5 cameras mounted and plugged in. With 100% of my property covered by the cameras, now I'm able to view, record, and export any events on the property. Dave came on time and the work was well done at a good value. read more

Dave is awesome and professional. I had a spotty internet connection in a part of my home and wanted to create an access point. This meant running a wire from my modem one end to a room at the other end of the house. Dave said it was a piece of cake. Took him less than 30 mins to connect, mount, and close the a high-speed Cat5 and now I have blazing fast speed. Thanks Dave. Well done. read more

Do NOT hire Dave. I would give him 0 stars if I could. I'm elderly and he took advantage of that. Pictures below show how he does his work. I wish I would of looked him up first. So many bad reviews. All the 5* ones are from his friends and family. He installed cable wires, photos attached to show his work. Awful. Wires all over. Nothing put in the wall. All left out exposed and ran up and down my wall over to other outlets instead of in the wall. Worst job ever. Do NOT HIRE THIS GUY DAVE TO DO YOUR CABLE WIRES YOU WILL BE SO SORRY. I reported him to the BBB and I'm getting an attorney. read more

I was switching to fiber optic with Optimum and their installer was unable to complete the install. He didn't know what to do. I called Wireman/Cableman- Dave- to install the necessary phone jacks. Dave was able to do what the Optimum technician was unable to do. He was very professional and he is very experienced. He knew exactly what to do and it was at a good price. I am hiring him to hang my flatscreen tv above my fireplace. I would highly recommend. read more

Wow - where even to start with Dave. Maybe do not start with him. He tries to cheat and then lies about it. Dave's philosophy - make five holes, measure never. Just go with the flow. Tape measure - no. Correct wall plate - no thanks - just make an extra hole in a wall plate made for something else (no one will notice as it is behind other things). Use an in-wall extension cord - nope - just place an extension cord in the wall. Hide wires - no - just place them behind a drawer so that the drawer then can't close. Dave does not even come close to doing professional work. Dave said he was going to use Cat6e wire but substitute Cat5 and then lied about it. Changed to Cat6 when we noticed (we wouldn't have noticed but the painter had to remove a wall plate and there it was - Cat5 in more than one place). Dave pretended he did not know the difference, the wholesaler said it was the same thing, it "really doesn't make a difference" and many other excuses. He did change the cables that we found. On the second day, after the 1st day was a disaster, Dave showed up 2 hours early (when we were not at home). We had told him when we would be arriving as we were moving. The painter and my daughter let Dave in but my daughter did not want to deal with Dave as he was an overall unpleasant guy. I told Dave not to start the wiring until I got home (1/2 an hour) and asked him to hang the shelf in the garage that he was supposed to do. I thought is safe to allow him to hang a shelf unsupervised. Sure enough, Dave made three more unnecessary holes in the wall to place wires instead of hanging the shelf. He said he would tell the painter to fix the holes - I had to repeatedly tell Dave not to discuss any work with the painters (who had already preped the walls in the room where Dave made new holes.) Dave insisted in payment in cash (so he could pay his assistant). I paid most in cash but sent some over Zelle. He couldn't figure out how why the amount in his bank account was lower than what I just paid him and had me check his bank account (with his phone). I and my daughter showed Dave how he was overdrawn. Guess it could happen to anyone but this guy is a disaster. I had to fire him 1/2 way though the job as he was so disorganized, lying, and inept. I gave Dave a 1 but he rates a zero. read more

Physicians office relies heavily on fax machine . Dedicated fax line stopped working called wireman answered and met me next day which was Saturday at 830 .. prompt arrival .. discussed issue and then he went to work and after some talking out loud and narrowing down issue the line is up and running in about 30 minutes time .. so nice to have guy who is independent instead of the big corps.. highly recommend for these wiring type jobs.. now he is stored in my phone as wireman for all my future needs ! read more

Verizon installed a shoddy wire-up for my internet upstairs and the connection was spotty. Dave was able to help me run a wire ACROSS THE WHOLE HOUSE and tucked everything away neatly. The attention to detail/to my property was great and I could barely tell there was a wire at all. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again for his quick and easy services. read more

Dave came to install my tv and hide the wires..fast forward 3 years I get a new cable box go to switch it out and discover the hole he put in my wall I could have done this myself - horrible! Shame on me for not noticing until now but still needed to share so you can check your work. He also cracked the face plate and never thought to replace it.. read more

Dave got my antenna working again by running a new cable and connected to two TVs efficiently and professionally so I don't have to pay for cable. Thanks! read more

Helpful and professional, the Wireman Cableman installed one TV and helped address an issue with another. Highly recommend!

What a mistake hiring this bozo. Hired him to install a security system I purchased. Said he knew the system and would instruct me howto use it. Aferr a rushed sloppy installation he struggled to set itt up and finally admitted he DIDN"T know how but for another $175 he would send his "friend" over to show us how to use Not only a thief but with no scrupples and integrity as well. read more

WARNING: DO NOT USE! Incompetent is an understatement. Did not show up with a tape measure, no step stool or ladder knowing that he was installing a tv on a wall. Did not measure correctly, drilled like 12 holes into my fireplace. Drilled additional holes into my tv mount when the holes he drilled didn't match up. read more

I know better and should have read the reviews first. Spoke to Dave on a Tuesday and made an appointment for the following Saturday. Told him what I needed and he quoted $200 cash which I was fine with. He never showed, never called and did not respond to my voice message. I contacted Verizon afterwards. They came a few days later and spent about 5 minutes to plug in the new equipment with no charge for the service call. Incredible. I learned my lesson and fortunately came out ahead of the game. Stay away! (P.S. - for some reason the review shows that I live in CA. I live in NY). read more

psycho! do not use or call this company! i was supposed to have work done. he didnt call or show. i called him he said he was sick throwing up , he would do it tommorrow. tommorrow comes, no call/no show. he wasted all of my precious time! very unprofessional, total moron idiot. hello wireman, do understand the importance and power of customer service. you should not be in business if you dont know how to deal with people. if u cant do it say so, the worst u can do is what you did. grow up. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I have never encountered such rude, nasty, insulting behavior from someone who is getting PAID to do a job. I won't go into details about his insulting behavior but suffice it to say that getting $75 for 15 minutes of work, & complaining about it the whole time, is completely unprofessional & unacceptable. DO NOT use this service!! read more

Dave the Wireman was the worst tradesman to come to our house in 48 years. He broke a part and a connection. Not only was he nasty and rude but I had to give him money to get him to leave. You are forewarned - look at all his negatives. Under no circumstances should anyone use him. read more

Very responsive to my inquiry. My house is quite difficult to run cables, but he managed to get the 6 wire runs I needed despite the difficulty. My network runs much better now. He was trustworthy and prompt and did the work as requested. If I had another cable need I would call him again. read more

Dave was great. The other bad reviews are contrary to the experience I had with him. Was i time, clean, did great work, under budget, fast, followed up, stayed in communication. He is my go to for anything wire or cable related. Super knowledgable and nice to work with too. read more

Dave was on top it! Plain and simple. From my original call and email to him be responded promptly and when I was ready for work to be done he was available within a few days time. Came on time, and work was clean, and most importantly done right. Was very fairly priced and worked with me on that when it came down to the nitty gritty of money but at the end of the day the work was done right. Dave followed up with me that same night and the following day to make sure things were all good and even offered to come by if something wasn't right! He has my future business for sure. Thanks Dave! read more

very bad experience. this man dave went to my mother in laws house to wire their equipment (cable box, Tandberg receiver, JVC turntable, speakers etc.) they hired a carpenter to build a custom wall unit which included a wire chase for him to utilize. the guy with all "28 years experience" - we looked up your license, your license is less than a year old. complained, complained, complained. Told them to buy a $100 receiver from pc richards. Really? do some research Dave - Tandberg, which you obviously never heard of- is an extremely high end receiver. The "wireman" shouldnt own a drill, or be allowed to use one, he drilled multiple holes all over the custom built in wall unit that he never put a wire through. Really? Like other reviews, the guy was in a rush and it shows. very poor workmanship, and now we have to get someone else to finish the job because when he left, nothing even works. way to take advantage of 70 year old people. you should give them back their money and pay the carpenter to re-build their built-in wall unit that you destroyed. and lastly, he demands that they pay him in cash. interesting. read more

Stay away! Very messy and only does what is expeditious for him. Had 4 TV's to re-wire...he only did 2 since they were a short and straight run. Cut holes in wall and then tried to cover them with a makeshift faceplate. Does not try to hide wires....runs them in the open. Stated he would come back to fix...that was months ago. read more

I don't typically write reviews on Yelp, but I wanted to warn others from using this company. The technician came to the house, and did not fix the problem that was asked for, and continued to argue with me stating that the problem was fixed while it clearly was not. He stated he needed an extra $175 to actually fix the problem I called him to fix in the first place. I recommend you find someone else for your needs. On top of that, he's rude. read more

Hired Dave to install a flat screen TV. He encountered many snags ( beams that would not permit him to drill through the wall, short cables etc. ) Dave tackled every snag confidently and succeeded in getting our TV and cable up and running in no time. He worked quickly and confidently, and in a clean manner. Never charged us for the extra cables or extra work and time needed to do the job. We will recommend him to all of our friends. read more
