I took my phone to the Apple Store and they barely tried to fix it. Basically told me I had to buy a new phone as they couldn't fix it. I lost all hope, but just took a chance and came to check out this place. Nick let me see him open the phone and told me what he was trying. He was able to fix my phone and it's working now. Oh wow. TOTAL, COMPLETE RIP-OFF!!! DO NOT GO IN. Literally the worst experience ever. My regular iPhone repair spot was already closed for the day (fixing my iPhone screen every 2-3 months kind of comes with what I do lol) , so I got a $40 Groupon for iPhone 6 screen repair for this place as it was nearby & the Groupon price seemed reasonable. When I walked in, he said that the Groupon wouldn't work for this cause the screen is cracked so badly that the only way to do it is to up-charge me additional $20 to change an entire new screen on. Since my home button got detached, and I also had another iPhone 6 that was good for parts, I brought that in as well, but he said that adding a home button from another phone would be yet another up-charge for the labor & that I may as well just get a whole new screen. For the sake of saving time & energy of canceling Groupon & waiting for the refund, I agreed, although I've paid way less for the literally same repair many times before in other stores & there was never extra fee for the home button or for the 'extremely bad crack', it just came as a part of the new screen. So he finishes it, hands me the phone without the home button & says that it doesn't come with the new screen, and if I want the home button added, I need to pay YET ANOTHER UPCHARGE. (?!!?) At this point, I'm just looking to get out of this store as fast as I can before I exploded or before he tries to up-charge me for it, or anything else while being there. Seriously, you guys. It's not worth it. I regret my decision so much. It didn't save me neither time, nor stress nor money. Go anywhere else. As I said, other places charged me much less for the same repair & even a new LCD without any shady up-charges, and it was less than Groupon charge alone at this store. read more

Got my broken iphone XS screen replaced here. Very straight-forward experience from the get-go. Messaged Nick via yelp the night before, didn't expect a reply since it was outside business hours, but I got one anyway, which is always nice. He also gave me a quote and the price was very reasonable - almost 3x less than the apple store quoted me. Oh, and the apple store had told me it would take "only" 45 mins to fix, as if it was some big selling point. Nick replaced my screen within 15 minutes. He let me test it, I noticed a small issue with sensitivity. He quickly identified the issue and re-replaced the screen. He explained that he's had this problem before with my specific phone model, which put me at ease. In general, it was nice that I didn't have to fight or convince him of the issue. He didn't take my complaint personally or defensively - he just identified the problem and dealt with it. so all in all I still probably spent less than 25 mins in the store. would recommend to anyone. read more

Nick lies and excuses: On February 21, 2022, Nick had "fixed" Ashlie R. Anderson iPhone 8, she paid him $54, but he did not give her a receipt. Ashlie asked for a receipt twice and Nick lied and said he "text" her the receipt. Ashlie checked her phone for the texted receipt and found nothing. All Nick wants is to sell you a iPhone after he damaged your iPhone. Beware of this guy!! Failure to provide a customer a sales receipt is a violation of California Civil Code, as well as California Civil Code section 1723 and California Sales and Use Tax Regulations 1686 (a) "[I]n General. Each retailer required to collect use tax from purchasers (including lessees) must give a receipt to each purchaser (or lessee) for the amount of the tax collected..." All merchants must report all taxable income or fraud be construed by merchants intentionally underreporting or failing to report income should be reported to the California Franchise Tax BoardCalifornia Department of Tax and Fee Administration. (Section 6202, Revenue and Taxation Code). This can also be reported to the California Department of Justice. If the product doesn't work or is defective, often an implied warranty exists by law even if the seller does not make any specific guarantees. (See Title 1.7 Consumer Warranties, California Civil Code section 1790, et seq.) When I talked to Nick his excuses were as follows: 1) We called Nick at A2Z Wireless to replace a iPhone 8 battery. 2) Nick first question was "What type of iPhone do you have?" We told him it is a iPhone 8, he said he was not sure he has the battery, but later said "yes" he has the iPhone 8 battery and to come to his store, he can replace the battery. 3) After one and half weeks the iPhone charging port stopped work. We called Nick and he said come one, I will check the phone. 4) After Nick checked the iPhone 8 he said: "the iPhone motherboard is probably damaged" .... "It happens...But I can sell you a new iPhone and I will give you a discount and apply the price of the battery I sold you toward the sale." 5) Nick said that the iPhone 8 motherboard was damaged, and because of that her old battery did not work. Then he said her old battery was good. So, I asked him if the motherboard was damages and her battery was good, why he sell her a new battery? Nick refused to answer my question, and he changed the subject; 6) When I told Nick that the iPhone 8 was working fine for one and half week after he replaced the battery, but then it stopped working, her said: "Well, I told you the motherboard was damaged, and I will give you a discount toward a new phone and apply the price of the battery to the new iPhone." 7) Yet, if Ashlie's battery was good why did Nick replace her battery and sold her a new one? 8) On Ashlie's second visit, Nick had tested the iPhone 8, as he showed her and said the charging port was working fine. Then Nick said the motherboard might have been damaged. Ashlie asked: "But why the iPhone work for one and half week after he replaced her battery" if the motherboard was damaged? (This can only mean that the iPhone motherboard was not damaged if the iPhone charging port was working fine for a week and half after Nick replaced the battery. It was likely a result of static electricity because Nick's bad workmanship, he does not care about people. All Nick cares about is to sell you a new iPhone after he damaged your iPhone!! 9) But why did Nick replace Ashlie's old battery if the motherboard was damaged? Nick could have told her the phone would not hold a charge, and he would not have sold her a new battery. (Unless Nick put the wrong battery that damaged the iPhone 8 motherboard). 10) If the motherboard was damaged, why did the iPhone charging port was working for a week and half after he replaced her old battery? 11) If for one and half week the charging port was working and charged the iPhone 8 with the new battery he sold her, nothing was wrong with the motherboard. Nick replaced Ashlie's "good" battery with the wrong battery that has damaged her iPhone 8 motherboard. 12) Nick's bad workmanship had damaged Ashlie's iPhone motherboard and the phone could no longer charge the phone through the charging port. 13) Nick is full of lies and excuses and he refused to take responsibility for damaging Ashlie's iPhone 8. Nicks kept trying to sell Ashlie a new iPhone, saying: "something like this happens all the time to iphones." Nick is a hustler who keeps covering up his bad workmanship and misdeeds to his customers as he keeps calling them "brother" or "sister," he refused to address or remedy the problems he created. read more

I came by this shop after finding them on Google, I called and was quoted $90 to repair my cracked Glass on iPhone 6+ When I spoke to Aaron and asked if they had some kind of coupon or discount, he said if I check in on yelp he would do it for $85 good deal He replaced the glass in 5 min on the front counter in front of me. Got a sweet discount on tempered glass cover so that the next time I drop my phone I won't be needing a repair. They have awesome prices on covers as well. I was looking around while he fixed my phone and all phones are marked down at least $5 from the list price sometimes even more. I got a new cover today as well. Overall repair and accessories were under $200 which we all know is way cheap. Last time I broke my screen Apple charged me $180 just for the glass repair. I Yelped this business a month ago when I broke my iPhone 8 screen. My first time breaking a screen on a recently purchased phone and I had heard that without Apple Care, I was out of luck so I reached out to a third party business. (Huge mistake btw, if you have a third party open your Phone, Apple won't fix it in the future). The first time they changed my phone's screen, I noticed right away that the sensitivity was not right and when I reached out, they said they probably had a bad 'batch' and would replace it for free. I took it in again, and had the same issue. By this time, I had Googled screen change and learned original OEM screen is what Apple uses, so I asked for whatever is the best quality screen for my phone and I'd pay extra. Third time in, they switched it and charged me for what was supposed to be an original screen and I still had issues. Now at this third appointment, they told me if this didn't work, I can bring back the phone, get a broken screen replacement and get a refund. I followed up on their word by coming back, and Nick said he couldn't give me a full refund anymore and did not have any white iPhone 8 screens on hand so I'd have to wait! I was pretty ticked off at this point. I was down $170, had a none working phone and driven three times to this location to be told they couldn't keep their word. Long story short, I ended up getting a new phone, ate the loss and would never recommend this place for anyone needing to fix a new model phone (they will not have the right parts and don't disclose that). Go straight to Apple, it will be cheaper. To A2Z: 1. It's good business to disclose that you don't have original parts or need to order them in. I would have paid more the first time, for the right screen. 2. It's better business to follow through with your word. I would not have risked the third time screen change if I knew I would not be getting my money back. 3. It's best business to turn away customers you will not be helping. If I had known I will drive three times and have to wait on a new screen change, and be 200 out of pocket for a China-made screen AND have to go get a brand new phone anyways, I would obviously have done things differently. Let people know you can help with old phones and old models only. Transparency drives quality. One star - they are quick to respond and provide quick customer service, though insufficient. read more
