This place is great and friendly! It is tucked away next to Subway on K Street. I took my iPhone 8 to them because the LCD screen was completely broken. They quoted me $85 to fix my screen and said it would be done in an hour. I came back on my lunch break and it was fixed! The only issue was that between not being able to see the screen and touching it and the guy touching it to fix it, it disabled and I had to restore everything on iTunes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I scheduled an appointment for noon and was asked to bring my phone that was to be fixed to a separate location, no biggie. I drop it off for my scheduled appointment at noon and was told it would take 30 minutes to an hour, an hour goes by, then 2 hours go by so I call and was told that he was on his way.. thinking ok I can wait a like longer.. bad idea 3 hours comes and goes now we have passed 4 hours. I call the location and he (owner) hasn't even shown up. I message him on yelp with no response until later that evening. I wasted 5 hours and had to reschedule several appointments. He apologizes and says he can fix my phone the next day. I reach out and was told there isn't any available time. He offered $20 off and a screen protector but that was yesterday. Not helpful if you can't use your phone or get some type of service. I get it things are a little wonky. But that's just bad business. RESPONSE- Yes. Would not recommend. I brought my phone in for a battery replacement, but left with a broken home button that worked fine before I dropped it off. Honest and reliable. My iPhone 8 plus had both the front and back glass cracked. On top of that my rear camera wasn't working properly. Brought my samsung galaxy s9+ in to get the front screen fixed, mind you there was no cracks on the back as I triple checked the night before to make sure I knew what I was paying for. They quoted me 249 on the app, sounded good to me so I brought it in first thing this morning. Ended up being 276 after tax but whatever. He inspected the phone in front of me, everything but the back. Now I wish I had him inspect the back in front of me because he called not an hour later and says the back is messed up too and that he would need to replace that or risk it being cracked more after it's done. I was like that's weird I never noticed any cracks. Immediately he said "I can send you pictures." It just seems sketchy to me that he had pictures ready and me and my boyfriend both agreed the night before that there weren't any cracks on the back. At this point I didnt see any winning with this so I said okay just fix it. He did and I go pick it up 300 dollars later and he gives me my magnet for my phone mount seperate that i had on, i go get in my car and put the magnet on the back and hear cracking noises! The back screen cracked just from me putting the magnet on gently! I guess we'll see if i can get this fixed from them.. really regretting going here. read more
