If you need excellent cell phone repair done right and not ripping you off look no further!!!…read moreT.J. Cell Phone Repair is the creme de la creme of cell phone stores. Not only do they repair what they sell but they offer cell plans and other options & devices too. I went in as my Motorola died the screen went black and it looked like the battery oozed and old water damage to my phone as well so this was a seemingly hopeless cause as I literally had 11 gigabytes of photos and videos of my Momma who had just passed all in that phone and no way to get them out. I was distraught to say the least but knew I had come to this same store about 8 months back and they had replaced my cracked screen in under a half hour and for under a hundred bucks too. This was incredible as I had tried other stores shopping around and all wanted double or triple and told me it would take days. Not T.J. Cell Phone Repair they are superb and aim to please. They are willing to take on problems that others could NEVER FIX!! Anyways that leads me to today's dilemma I had a new phone and had whatever photos that were in my memory card that was full, however about 11 gigabytes of my family our vacations and trips partys etc and most importantly the last year of My Mommas life which I had so many pictures of her and I and various other family members. These were priceless to me but how can I get them into my new cell with a screen that's black so you can't give the command to share to another phone. TJ and his partner tried again and again to get my screen up and running even with the inside computer system slowly dying due to the water damage and battery acid leaking. Where others would have given up and said sorry buddy we don't have the time (as they are a business)they both made it a point to retrieve my Mom's pictures for me as I explained it all to them and they empathized with me completely. Long story short they managed re-hooking up the screen though you could barely see what was on it and then had these super bright lamps shine on the screen as they could barely make out what button for each file they had to send to a new memory card they put in my old phone. After an arduous few hours they had recovered all 11 gigabytes of precious memories and then when I came in they put that memory card in my phone and transfered ALL MY PRECIOUS PICTURES to my new phone and I can't thank them enough. THAT WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME!!! I now have a new phone with plenty of memory space and ALL my old photos and am one happy camper. If you've read through all this you can see this is a store unlike no other. TJ Cell Phone Repair really cares about their customers and "bends over backward" to accommodate them. I highly recommend five stars rating off the charts as they have proven themselves again and again to me and they will do right by you too!!!

I asked for a quote before anything was done and they told me $150. I seemed hesitant and that's when the other worker from inside the office (owner or manager?) came out and tried to convince me it would take a few hours of labor and they would have to apply new thermal gel(I later found out this was not a huge deal). This seemed a little fishy to me so I told them I would think about it and left with my items. Forward to a week later, I ordered a new fan from amazon, costed me $16 and VOILA!, problem fixed in about 40 minutes. Moral of the story, do your homework before you take your electronics anywhere to get fixed to avoid getting hustled.

Awesome service, knowledgable technician and honest business…read more I was in the middle of a phone crisis. My iphone was on the fritz, the screen was cracked and it was totally out of commission. I feared the worst and thought I was going to need a new one, but decided to give Repair Sharks a shot. I didn't know exactly where it was and didn't gave the GPS. The shop is located in an office building on a rather quiet part of Northern Blvd in Great Neck. I actually spotted Chris in the parking lot and wanted to ask if I was in the right spot. He took me in 5 min early, turned on the lights to the shop and helped me immediately. He took apart my phone, explained the process, explained the risks and the possible solutions and was able to fix the phone at a very, very reasonable fee. He offered advice and his expertise and was friendly and helpful. When I got home, there were still issues. I called Chris who responded right away and assisted with more support. I cannot express how grateful I am for his assistance and personalized attention. Hopefully I will not need his services again for a long time, but if anyone I know needs help I will tell them that this is the place!

I was shopping around…read moreto fix the screen on my iPhone 11 and I was quoted prices in the $300 range but this business offered to do it for $135. So I took the phone in and had the screen replaced and everything was good for about three weeks or so. After that the screen became on responsive and when that happened I immediately understood. These people will replace your screen and it will work for a small amount of time but ultimately it will stop working ,and when it does , I would imagine that they will not take accountability for it so I'm not even going to bring the device back to them. I would imagine that if I did bring the device back this would be the two possible scenarios: 1 - It's your fault because it's been three weeks 2 - We just don't know what the problem can be and there can be many reasons so we will hold your phone and try to figure it out but of course we won't figure it out and will not accept accountability. If you have an expensive device and you need a screen replacement you'll have to fork out the money to pay for the right equipment otherwise you shouldn't bother. If you have a high-end device don't take it here to be repaired because the repairs will not last long as they use subpar replacement parts that don't last very long. Go to Apple or a reputable third-party repair.
