Continuing my quest to try more açaí bowls brought me to OrganicAF. I ordered the Funky Monkey bowl…read moreat the counter to go. While I waited for the employee to make my bowl, I took a seat. The inside is very interesting space wise. There's just one long bench facing the counter and a couple of high top seats facing the window. After 5 minutes, my bowl was done and I took it with me to eat during my lunch break at work. I don't know if it was just the day I went but the to go container looked different than others I have seen from reviews. Mine looked like it was in a soup container you would get at a Chinese restaurant - the kind with a flat lid. Because of that, a lot of the peanut butter and chia seeds stuck to the lid because the lid wasn't curved. Secondly, I ordered the Funky Monkey bowl and it was missing a few ingredients. The bowl is advertised as organic açaí base with granola, banana, strawberries, peanut butter, Nutella, and chia seeds. My bowl was missing the strawberries and Nutella part. Despite all of that, the peanut butter was good and tasted natural. If I ever go back here, I'd probably just go for their smoothies.

I wish this place had more seating. The inside has a pretty large empty space without tables and…read morethe tables outside were covered in pollen so we had to go sit somewhere else. I loved the sunset bowl. It tasted really fresh and all of the flavors went great together. One thing that was pretty annoying is that they put the honey on top of the toppings so when you open the lid half the fruit sticks to the lid. Might make more sense to put the honey under the topping. It would also be nice if they had a protein bowl since it's literally walking distance from a big gym.

Really wanted to give it a higher rating, but couldn't today. Newly opened OrganicAF on…read moreBattleground, is unfortunately pricey AF. Had the quality been up to par and the value received worth it, the price could have been justified. Went with the Sunset Breeze bowl. Overall tasty, but the proportions were off. Seemed like there was half a bottle of honey poured in, where the fruit and granola were swimming in it. A little hint of honey is always nice in a bowl like this, but not as the main event. Definitely not worth it for $14. This could have been super tasty had it been made right. Smoothies also a bit on the high end compared to many other local smoothie and bowl joints. Regular juices, most at or above $10 each, also pricey. Don't know if the quality is any better than my experience with this bowl, but for $10 and my already so so experience with the bowl, I'm not about to try it at this point. The spot looks great. Clean, open with plenty of light and a wall of windows. Comfy seating with chairs and even a couch. Too bad we won't be enjoying this lovely space unless they increase their quality and/or reduce their prices. I'm hopeful they do, and this is just a bit of growing pains during their first few months of opening. I will try it again once they're further along and hope to leave a better review. For now, there are plenty of other less pricey and better quality smoothie/bowl/juice joints locally and nearby.

We used to love coming here. They made some changes recently and they are TERRIBLE. I've always…read moregotten the basic Acai bow for $13. The acai was well blended to a good consistency, there was a nice amount of fruit on top, and they'd let you swap out some of the toppings as long as you still had only 5 toppings. Yesterday was so bad we will really never be back. First of all the signs are all different now and the basic bowl is $15. When I asked to swap the granola for almond butter, as I always do, I was told no. They could leave off the granola but they'd have to charge for the plop of almond butter. The acai was frozen solid like ice, instead of being smoothie consistency as it should be. There was almost half the amount of fruit as there usually is. Just overall so disappointing. We've been coming here almost weekly for several months, order 3-4 items each time. And we'll literally never be back now. I hope the $2 price raise, and skimping on fruit, ends up being worth it for them in the long run.
