They are located directly across from Brookstown Inn within a quaint shopping center. They have parking on front and the shop is huge. There is plenty of comfortable seating inside such as couches, bar top tables, counter seating, tabletops & a covered patio. They offer baked goods, pastries, waffles, smoothies, matcha, and coffee/espresso. Ms. Abby & her staff are kind and know the regulars. They roast their coffee beans on site and also sell bags of coffee (beans & ground). They have creative drinks and give back to the community. I met with community leaders regularly at this shop and many had never been before and were happy to revisit. My favorite drinks are anything mocha and they never disappoint. You will find many of my favorites pictured. I recommend them all the time. Give them a try.

The mimosa was light and flavorful without being overpowering. It was a subtle flavor but pleasant. The chocolate was exactly what you'd expect from a chocolate macaron, which was good. It had a rich chocolate flavor but wasn't too heavy. I did walk with it on a warm day, so it began to melt a bit. But overall, it was still enjoyable. My fiancé ordered the ginger cookie. He liked it. It has a crust of sugar on top and had a nice ginger taste. The texture was soft but didn't fall apart easily. The server at the cash register was helpful. We asked what the Santiago dessert was, and he explained thoroughly. He also asked if the macarons could be in the same box instead of assuming. We didn't stay in long enough to get a vibe necessarily, but everyone sitting inside seemed to be at ease and enjoying their time. We will return to try more.

I got an ube iced latte and then a raspberry and cream cheese danish. Both were absolutely delightful and came out relatively quickly. This is a great place to stop in if you're in the area. If I had the time, it also looked like a good spot to do some teleworking. They have large windows that look out onto downtown, and it lets in a lot of natural light.

That, and I believe they pull shots more on the ristretto side. It also could be that because some of their syrups are homemade, th balance of water in the syrup causes for more dilution in the taste vs. traditional mfg syrups. For this latte loving girl, I've found that ordering my lattes "short" (less milk" or with extra ice is a sufficient workaround. This little gem is a nice "third place" in Ardmore. Dark farmhouse modern interior that can get a little loud at times. Baristas are friendly enough. Bring your own cup and they discount 10% off your drink total!

I was asked what I was feeling to experience energetically out of the various programs available and I chose "Release". I didn't know what to expect and it turned out to be quite profound and healing on many levels so I want to share my experience. I was taken to a beautiful dark teal room with Tibetan prayer flags overhead...tranquil and inviting. I put on some padded headphones while the program was being initiated, and made myself comfortable on my back on an ergonomically sculpted bed. Resonant music came through the headphones as the bed began to vibrate and undulate, my back and legs receiving a massage-like experience as my entire body felt the resonance of sound healing. My first impression was feeling I was a garden being tilled...old stagnant energy was being lifted and shaken and I felt a renewed energy pouring through me. In time, I connected my experience with the elements, grounding energy of Earth, sinking and flowing as Water, lifting and moving in spirals as Air, and the warmth and blaze of Fire...as these blended into Spirit I began to journey and fell into what felt like a sleep state. I came out of the sleep state as the resonance shifted, and it gently brought me to stillness over several minutes, softening and slowing until the program ended. The barista explained it's more like an Americano which was perfect for my husband (if you've read my coffee reviews you know my husband drinks his coffee black). Our drinks were made quickly while we looked around and after we received them we took them to go. Both drinks were very well made. Latte wasn't overly sweet and husband said it was a good Americano. He was able to answer any question I had about the 200 or so teas the shop stocks and knows exactly where his merchandise is located. The teas are from Africa, Japan, China, India, Egypt just everywhere tea is grown. They have tea blends and some teas for medicinal uses as well. On one side of the shop is a myriad of books filling the wall and tables to spend some time if you like sipping on a tea and reading or I'm thinking playing cards. I spent more time there then I thought looking at the teas and merchandise while Wade explained and described the teas I was interested in, a fun way to spend the time getting an education about teas and their back story which I find very interesting.
