A veritable font of knowledge on all things related to structured wiring, low voltage and Audio Visual systems, Maitland was on time and well prepared for every meeting, could answer our questions in as many levels of detail as we wanted and always in language we could understand. Although, truly, Maitland and his team are among those A-V geniuses who operate on a different wave length than we were mortals. :-) Everyone on the Infinite team was delightful to work with. Expert. Reliable. Professional. Were we having this work done again, Infinite is the only business we'd use. No matter what the scope of the project or the size of your budget they are top notch in attention to detail, work outcome and customer support. Maitland's team which includes his wife Katie (who Maitland says is the 'brains of the operation') and Dave and Joe were shining star examples of the principal "quality first" in their work. They were also able to make excellent recommendations on products and provided the same at fair prices, including a large screen, ultra HD television we needed for great room. We had a most disappointing experience with the General Contractor and many of the subs he hired to build this house who had to come back multiple times to fix their errors. Maitland and his team got everything exactly right the first time and precisely on time. In the few occasions when we needed questions answered their response was speedy. Also we very much appreciated that Infinite's proposals and billing records were always line item detailed and easy to understand. This is our fourth custom home build in the last 25 years but our first in Idaho. We have worked with great companies for structured wiring and A-V for the two previous builds and as good as they were, they were not as excellent as is Infinite. I called and scheduled an estimate with Frankwin to come out and give me a quote on a home theater…read moreinstallation as well as to get some advice and a second opinion on the system components I was considering. He came out as scheduled but almost immediately I noticed a certain...arrogance, almost condescending attitude. He must be used to dealing with wealthy rubes who just want to throw around a lot of money but not do any thinking or research for themselves and I had done a LOT of research. For starters when I told him I was looking to get a good deal on an OLED from last year's model he told me with a smirk "no way you're going to find one this time of year" when in fact (and I showed him) SEVERAL places, including Amazon, Ebay and other online retailers where they were still available at a bargain. He also criticized my choice (an LG G3 77" OLED) sayng Samsung was better, but in my research and for my purposes the LG was widely considered across MANY consumer forums to be the superior set, with LG having a long standing track record for quality over Samsung. Perhaps more egregiously he told me that in no way should I buy the 5.1 system I wanted but that he could set me up with a SONOS soundbar system instead...for tripe the cost of course. Again, looking at A/V forums online soundbars, while better than ever, are still no match for a dedicated 5.1 system. SONOS is considered great for music, but subpar for movies and gaming which are my primary uses. Basically, aside from his smug and condescending attitude, which is hard to convey in words but definitely turned me off almost immediately, it was clear he was really trying to push me to buy what HE wanted to push, and NOT really listening or caring about what I wanted or what would be best for me, AND it was clear that he wasn't used to being questioned or dealing with people willing to do their own research... I had asked him to compare two 5.1 systems I was looking at and he DID get back to me (hence 2 stars instead of 1), but his argument against getting either of them were "they were being phased out of support". For my purposes that's not something I care about, and I told him as much...if I can get a good deal on a slightly older model I'll take it. If you have money to burn and don't care to do your own research and/or think for yourself, by all means call Frankwin. I'm sure his actual work is competent but both his personality and his advice really gave me a scummy vibe. YMMV...

Not only did he no show-no call, when I called to inquire about his whereabouts or needing to reschedule again, he didn't answer, didn't call back to my voice mail inquiry, nor the text message OR the email follow-up. I understand that my job was just an installation and not selling me stuff on top, and as such it might have been small potatoes for his company. If he didn't want my business or was otherwise too busy I'd have understood but it's been a week now with no follow up, no explanation, and no follow up. He basically avoided my calls/messages, ghosting me like a shady millennial on a dating app. The irony of course is their name is A/V PROFESSIONALS and I think it's fair to say that blowing off a scheduled appointment and avoiding/ghosting any kind of follow up, explanation, or apology is anything BUT professional... YMMV but with this kind of treatment/behavior I hope the market corrects them accordingly.
