We've never…read morevisited this field before and we're excited about the prospect of playing soccer near Wrigley Field. If you have more time and and you're into Chicago baseball, this place will put you right in the area of all the action. Our visit was strictly soccer though, and while the team did not disappoint, the field that they played on had a bit of a grade on the east side goal and my daughter said that there was a buried underwire that that tripped people up every so often when they were near the goal box. The turf was super hairy, make sure that you plan on brushing yourself off after the game. We didn't visit the restaurant that's attached to this facility, but it seemed like a restaurant that had a lot of different options for all kind of game and beer drinkers. The Chicago Fire sponsors this field and so you can get all type of Chicago fire attire. That's your jam. It's great to see pro sports sponsoring these type of fields so that kids have opportunity for League games in their city community. There are indoor bathrooms on site which is a pro when it comes to an outdoor soccer game.

I've been playing at The Fire Pitch for a few years now, and it's consistently one of the best…read moresoccer facilities in the area. The fields are always in great shape -- the turf is well maintained, the lines are clear, and the layout makes it easy to watch multiple games without feeling crowded. Even during busy league nights, everything feels organized and professional. One thing I really appreciate is the parking. There's plenty of it, which makes showing up for games stress-free. No scrambling for a spot or walking far with your bag after a long match. The food is another underrated part of the experience. For a sports complex, the menu is actually solid. It's a great spot to grab something after a game and hang out with teammates. The overall atmosphere feels welcoming and community-focused, which is probably why I've kept coming back year after year. If you're looking for quality fields, easy parking, and a good post-game vibe, this place delivers.

Attended a 2 year old birthday party this weekend at Lil' Kickers and it was adorable!…read more We were greeted by the very sweet staff who pointed us to the direction of the birthday party. They set up a huge bouncy house for that was really the star of the show. The kiddos had some much fun climbing and jumping around on there. The indoor fields were also open for us to run around on. Most of the kids were still pretty little, but they really enjoyed running around and kicking the balls. We would love to bring our son back here for lessons once he's a little bit older, but for now it's an A+ birthday party destination!

Its hard to drop him off, I want to get out and participate in the activities.Where to begin...well first off its super well run by a well-trained friendly staff. They help with everything including applying sun screen at beginning of the day. Kids are assigned to a coach with same age kids, and let me tell you these coaches are hand-picked- super nice, love kids and know their sports. You can tell many of them play elite sports themselves. The camp is well programmed with different themes each week- basketball one week, Olympic week the next. Competitive but in good way. Lunch is really good- food kids like to eat like Popeye's chicken, pizza, and Fridays they grill hot dogs and hamburgers for the kids. Pickup and dropoff is fast and easy and location right off the highway- or there is bus pickup from many Northside locations. We moved to Park Ridge but Jack insisted he attend camp regardless (he met his best friend there) so Mom and Dad take turns driving him an hour each way sometimes (so worth it). They have a great photog who sends out super cool videos each week. Field trips to Cubs games and water parks. Its so great we usually sign him up for most of the the summer, and take advantage of the early bird pricing before January 1st each year. We cannot wait for the camp to start this summer, its hard to imagine a summer sports camp as good at this one. Its hard to summarize it all here but if anyone has questions, please call or text me at 773-805-9305 for honest straightforward info.

Our experience with Hi-Five Sports has been nothing but positive. Both my daughter and son have…read moreparticipated in the program, and they had so much fun every single time. They genuinely looked forward to each class, which says a lot as a parent. The coaching staff is truly outstanding. The coaches are enthusiastic, patient, and amazing with kids--they made my children feel supported, encouraged, and confident right from the start. My kids absolutely loved their coaches and felt comfortable learning and trying new skills, even when it was challenging. Beyond just having fun, I've seen real growth in both of my kids' skill sets. Their coordination, understanding of the sport, teamwork, and confidence have all improved significantly thanks to this program. Hi-Five Sports does an excellent job of teaching fundamentals in a way that's engaging and age-appropriate. I'm so grateful for the positive impact Hi-Five Sports has had on my children, and I would highly recommend this program to any parent looking for a fun, supportive, and skill-building sports experience for their kids.

What we didn't realize is the first practice had already occurred in 2020. And unfortunately my car was snowed in for the second practice. So we decided to go to the third practice on Feb 7. When my soon to be 14 year old son and I showed up, my son refused to join the group because there were only young children ages 8 or 9. I emailed Milo that we were disappointed due to the expense, the low quantity of practices and more importantly the young ages present. I requested a refund but Milo got rude over several emails taking no responsibility and repeatedly said "no refunds!" Several times. I expressed my disappointment on how he handled the situation and told him I would write a review. He said "give us 5 stars." I normally would let $140 go and have my son train elsewhere but that annoyed me hence this review. I can provide copies of emails if needed. If you children are older, ask how many are practicing in their age range before joining or paying anything!!!

A great recreational gym! (I can't speak for competitive since my daughter is not old enough to…read morecompete yet) AAG keeps growing and growing! I've been going to AAG for 3(+/-) years. My daughter has participated in multiple different classes. Pros: -For the most part the owners listen to feedback from parents (Within reason of course!). After many complaints of a crowded parent area they expanded to the warehouse next door. Recently they have upgraded from uncomfortable metal folding chairs to newer chairs and added some tables. Other feedback that I've seen AAG turn into improvements would be expanding the old parent area to provide additional seating and storage areas, and also adding additional viewing windows in the parent area so parents can watch classes easier. -They keep adding more classes, and a variety of classes. Multiple levels of recreational classes, Ninja, Preschool classes, daytime classes for preschool and home school, boys gymnastics, high school prep, tumbling, competitive team, and more. There is something for everyone. -Recreational classes are competitive in price with other gyms. Cons: -Like most teachers, everyone has a different way of teaching. Some coaches seem to have an easier time teaching students a skill than other teachers. Another thing I have noticed is that the classes don't seem very structured. Some coaches focus more on conditioning than others. These are not necessarily bad things, but they are inconsistencies I have noticed. -Keeping on the topic of coaches, with the exception of a few coaches who have been there for a few years, it seems to be a revolving door. Some coaches come in and are there for a month, then they're gone. -One complaint I've heard a few times is a gymnast being in the same class for some time with little to no improvement on skills. In one instance, two of the individuals had been in the class for about two years and were disappointed that they had not learned as much as they hoped. This could be for a number of reasons- the "revolving door" of coaches, the coaching inconsistencies, gymnasts not practicing/conditioning outside of class, etc. Sometimes it does seem like a slow learning process. Some skills are difficult to achieve and require taking that extra step. Overall, I think AAG is a great gym that has potential to become a well known gym in the area. They keep investing in new equipment and upgrading their facilities. People seem to like the gym because they keep coming back! As I mentioned before, AAG keeps growing and growing. The reason they keep growing and growing is because they are good at what they do.
