I asked an employee named Rosemary, who was working as a cash handler, for help. She told me she couldn't assist me because her only job was to help people in the cashier line. Her response was rude and unprofessional, especially considering it happened in front of other customers. She did not represent the company well at all. Thankfully, an employee named Jessica stepped in and was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. She turned the experience around, and honestly, every employee at this store could learn a thing or two from her example of good customer service. Because of Jessica, I'm giving this visit 2.5 stars instead of 1. But the treatment I received from Rosemary was enough to make me reconsider shopping here. I'd rather take my business to Walmart than deal with that kind of attitude on a regular basis.

Walmart is rather rare in California - this is my fifth in https://www.yelp.com/collection/iEN80LJSkej5A7UvndopUw - so I was interested to see how they do here. Consistent with others, there were too many carts in and out of the corrals in the parking lot. Some litter in the parking lot. In the store, decently well stocked and with two "spill warning" triangles out on the floor. Restroom was okay. Self-checkout worked fine and I was on my way quickly. Lop-sided and looking nothing like the original. I asked for a discount because I had no time to get a new one from anywhere else before the event and they said that they already gave me a discount for not having boxes and they would not give me another discount on top of it. Extremely disappointing and honestly embarrassing. I will NEVER order another cake from Walmart ever again. This cake was over $50.
