Night manager could lighten up a little bit and understand mistakes happen. I went for a pick up…read moreorder around 8-830pm so mind you it's dark out and seeing what's in the bags is difficult especially if an item is completely covered up. I order some groceries and a bottle of tequila for a 21st bday tomorrow and I had checked the three bags clearly not well enough because I didn't see the clear bottle of tequila covered by a bag of 18 lemons and limes. I go into the store and let them know I'm not seeing it and so the nice girl who brought it to my car asked another lady if she seen it and right off the bat her response was rude, she said no it's in there, I packed it and approved it (which means nothing cause people can be sketchy) and so I replied politely that I didn't see it in any of the bags and again very rudely and condescending said it was in the bags with the lemons and said while nodding " you got 9 lemons and 9 limes right???? I wouldn't give you another bottle anyways because I'm the one who put it in the bag and I'm the manager" bamboozled by her response I said "I don't know I didn't count them, would you mind if someone went out with me to double check?" She said I need to put this money away and then I can meet you out there so I said okay thank you. Walked to my car opened the trunk to double checked, had to pull out all 18 lemons and limes but it was there and as she was walking out I apologized for the misunderstanding and that I found it and she just walked off and was like "yeah it's in there?no problem". My issue is her thinking I went in there to try and get a free bottle... Maybe she's encountered another like that but that was not the case and she shouldn't assume that's what everyone is after and should see it as an honest mistake. If it really wasn't there and she refused to give me another I could have simply went on the app and said it wasn't there and gotten a refund... Maybe she was having a bad day or maybe she didn't even mean it like that but also why say that specific line? It's hurtful honestly. I'm sure I'll continue to shop there when I really need to but it was just a bad first impression with the manager of the store.. I hope she can see honest mistakes happen and not everyone is out there trying to get free stuff and be dishonest.

Walmart is rather rare in California - this is my fifth in https://www.yelp.com/collection/iEN80LJSkej5A7UvndopUw - so I was interested to see how they do here. Consistent with others, there were too many carts in and out of the corrals in the parking lot. Some litter in the parking lot. In the store, decently well stocked and with two "spill warning" triangles out on the floor. Restroom was okay. Self-checkout worked fine and I was on my way quickly. Lop-sided and looking nothing like the original. I asked for a discount because I had no time to get a new one from anywhere else before the event and they said that they already gave me a discount for not having boxes and they would not give me another discount on top of it. Extremely disappointing and honestly embarrassing. I will NEVER order another cake from Walmart ever again. This cake was over $50.
