She is constantly booked, so if you are looking for an appointment with her specifically, call WAY in advance. She takes a lot of time with each patient, making sure they have all of their questions answered(sometimes I come in with a whole list!) She was the doctor who recommended CRM and Dr. Loy to us for IVF. A year later, we are 10 weeks pregnant! The office: They have several offices, but the one I am reviewing is the Winter Park location. It has ample parking and an elevator to the 2nd floor where the physicians offices are located. They have 4-5 people working reception so you never have to wait long. Their waiting room is large and spacious- they have a water machine with cups available as well as magazines. Scheduling: This is the only reason I can't give this 5 stars. Dr availability is NOT the issue either, I expect good doctors to be booked :) The issue is if you are having an ultrasound or another lab the front desk can't book you-- you have to wait for a call from a scheduler. I am a very organized person and always bring my planner with me to appointments(yes, I'm old school but I LOVE my Erin Condren planner!), so I'd like to take care of scheduling same day. Other than that this office is fantastic! I definitely recommend!

I walked in on a Thursday at 3:15pm, was already in a gown, had a room and registration process started by 3:20! I had a few tests done, blood drawn, etc and was out within 2 hours. I highly recommend Baldwin Park ER for your emergency medical needs.

My barely 25‑year‑old daughter, Taylor, died after what multiple independent physicians and an…read moreautopsy have confirmed was reckless medical negligence and neglect in an HCA Florida Hospital where she was taken after being rear‑ended at a red light. Her internal bleeding went undiagnosed for about eight hours despite glaring signs. Once imaging was finally ordered and active internal bleeding was confirmed, surgery was delayed for roughly seven more hours. In the meantime, the doctor ordered mass blood transfusion in an improper way that worsened her condition instead of stabilizing her, while failing to move the central line that was improperly placed and that the radiologist recommended be repositioned. HCA Healthcare has faced no consequences, and there is no way for people researching physicians through the Florida Department of Health (DOH), the medical licensing board, to see what happened to my daughter. Because she was 25, unmarried, and had no children, Florida's 'Free Kill' law strategically blocked me from pursuing legal recourse to ensure the hospital and its physicians are held accountable so the harm does not continue. If you or your loved ones rely on HCA Healthcare in Florida, please take time to learn how this system really works and how families can protect themselves. 5 Stars for a clean office with clear and quick service, and great staff!…read more I had to get in quickly and was able to get an appointment with midwife, Whitney Shidler for the same day. Check-in was quick and easy and I was in to see Whitney before long. She was really kind and helpful with all of my questions and concerns and made me feel totally at ease. When I had a follow-up question the next day, I called and spoke to triage nurse, Kelly, and once again I got the friendliest service. When dealing with health issues, that kind of kindness goes a long way. This Women's Care is closer to my house than the one I typically visit, so I may be changing over to this office after this great visit. 10/10

I've never felt compelled to write a negative review, but my experience at this office was so…read moreupsetting that I had to share my story. I feel that any pregnant woman considering this office for their care should read this review first. I am a high-risk patient. This is my first pregnancy at the age of 37. I came to this office specifically for my 12-week NIPT and ultrasound. What other reviews say about the billing department? 100% true. The policy is you to pay all fees up front -- not just for the current visit, but for future visits as well. We're talking several hundred dollars out-of-pocket, even with insurance. And no -- this does not include lab work or ultrasounds. Those charges are separate. This is just for the office visits and physician fees. No matter how far along you are, you pay upfront for all the future visits up until your delivery date. However, it is my understanding that this may just be common practice for ob/gyn's. The most egregious and frankly inexcusable part of my experience is this: after multiple rounds of back-and-forth with their billing department to get clarity on the "mandatory" financial agreement they force you to sign before being seen -- I finally signed. I agreed to their terms so I could move forward with the NIPT and ultrasound. I was seen in the office, had my blood drawn, etc. Two weeks went by. Nothing. At 14 weeks pregnant -- already anxious and desperately hoping for reassurance about my baby's genetic health -- I finally called them for an update. Do you know what they told me? They NEVER submitted my bloodwork for the NIPT. Let me repeat that: they confirmed that I had signed all the proper consent forms. They acknowledged that there were records showing I requested the test. They confirmed I had my blood drawn -- for other labs -- but somehow the NIPT was never ordered. The entire reason for my appointment was completely disregarded. Two weeks of waiting in the dark, thinking everything was in motion -- and they did nothing. If I hadn't called, I wouldn't have even known. Someone explain to me: how does this happen? How does a medical office -- one responsible for the care of pregnant women, many of whom are vulnerable and high-risk -- allow something this serious to fall through the cracks? This is more than just disorganization. This is gross incompetence. If you're considering this office: proceed with extreme caution. I can't say who exactly is to blame -- but clearly, the system they have in place is broken. And no one is being held accountable for that breakdown. The lack of professionalism is absolutely appalling. I wasn't spoken to by a manager, and further, the front staff treated me like an inconvenience. Who is running this show? This isn't just a bad experience -- it's a complete failure of care.
