I reserved judgement before writing this review and wanted to wait until I'd been going here for a while.
Admittedly, I was a little nervous about how it would go because there are some negative reviews not just here but other sources too. That said, it's true that the initial process of getting an appointment can be frustrating (requiring referrals to be faxed by your provider) and it took a few tries and ultimately my doctors office calling them directly before they would make an appointment. BUT...
Once you get over that initial hurdle and become an established patient, it's a really wonderful practice. The staff, the nurses and Dr. El-Said are really excellent and thorough care-givers. I came to the practice due to a sudden onset of chronic migraines that had been going on at that point for a few months. They really listened and went over all of my symptoms and ordered several additional tests. We've worked through a number of different medications until landing on one that finally has given me some relief even though we hadn't been able to determine the cause of the symptoms. When my primary care doctor brushed me off, it was actually Dr. El-Said that gave me the referral to another specialist that had gotten me much closer to some real answers. Feeling heard and truly cared for by your doctor is surprisingly not that easy to come by in my experience. And for that, I am so grateful.
Slowly, but surely, I'm starting to feel like my old self again and I don't think that would be possible if it weren't for Dr. El-Said and his team. 100% would recommend. read more
