I will not compromise unless I find someone who is kind, patient, sweet, experienced, thorough and extremely knowledgeable--Dr. Bumgarner is all of those things. Appointments were easy to schedule - three of four kids seen back to back. For a mom of four kids, that is a lifesaver. He has a calm and jovial manner, he is thorough and has no problem answering questions. You would think that's all you could ask for but our experience has been astounding. Dr. Selsky found a heart murmur in my son that was missed by his previous pediatrician. We were shocked and very worried. But Dr. Selsky is incredibly thorough. He does not do generic referrals. He will refer you to a specific doctor at a specific location and he has stayed right on top of our child's diagnosis. Our child needs a heart cath procedure and Dr. Selsky is in full contact with his cardiology team. We feel he may have saved our sons life and definitely saved him years of worse medical issues. We thought that was fantastic. We've felt so lucky to have him and then today we had to call the after hours medical provider. Imagine my surprise that it is Dr. Selsky himself. We are blown away.
