This bowling alley is awesome. I was just starting to get into bowling when the pandemic happened so when they reopened, I was thrilled! The staff has always been chill snd friendly. Haven't dealt with any rude staff as I've seen in other comments. The prices for an hour's play is reasonable and frankly, they could be charging much more like some of the bougie alleys in town. There's not an alley on every corner so the ones we do have are worth supporting. They have a hot small snack bar that I never use. I'd prefer the cafe next to it. The bar is reasonably priced and the bartenders are really sweet. They did have karaoke and live music before COVID and I'm sure it'll come back sometime soon. Covid restrictions are being followed. I would love to bowl without a mask on but they have to stay on for now unless eating/drinking. Whatever mask/distancing rules are in place to help keep open, I'm fine with. Im actually happy to have enforced social distancing lol. It's nice to know people can't come pester you in your bubble and the next lane being open is kinda nice when I remember how the neighboring lane players could be a nuisance at times. All that aside, it's a good spot. Low key. Their client base is varied and it's a great place for to hang out with loved ones or just to be in your own head playing the game. Love it here. read more

It was typically priced for a bowling place we came here after 7 pm so it was quite full of people. The neon lights made for whites and light colors to glow in the dark which is a bit interesting. Fair warning for those with see through clothing not wanting people to see something they shouldn't. There is a 15-20 minute wait despite there being open lanes available for those in the queue. There were about 6 open lanes that were working and functional but we still had to wait the full 15 minutes. There was also a 15-20 minute wait for the billiards tables and again despite there being open tables. That may just be unorganized business. We had fun with our group that's all I really asked for. read more

So I brought my son and niece to Winnetka bowl for a night of food and fun and I was met with an overweight security guard that attempted to publicly shame my niece after 3 hours of bowling for accidentally losing her bowling ball to the next isle. Not in an isle that was being used but a service isle. When I told the guy it was an obvious accident he decided was too "attitudy" for bowling and closed out our lane. Even the manager of the bowling alley said the security personnel overstepped his bounds but still allowed them to close our lane for my 4 year old. Bad food, bad service and terrible customer service...don't go there!! read more

Pretty great time. Bathrooms are clean!! (that's always a plus anywhere!!) . Pizza was good. Drinks were good. I've been here a couple of times with my church and everyone is really friendly. I also won the fishbowl raffle, and received a free two hour party. That was great as I've never won one of those raffles before! It was a little time consuming trying to rsvp the party, but all went well and everyone was very satisfied! Fun time for family and kids. The kids love the arcade as well. An overall nice environment. The later you stay at night the music changes a bit, so I would say just make sure music is family friendly. Never too crowded. read more

Had a group event here and did the $25 per person package deal. $25 includes two hours of bowling, shoe rental, and food/drinks. I think that's a pretty sweet deal. Facility does not acknowledge city guidelines nor do they enforce COVID-19 regulations. Staff does not enforce mask wearing within the facility and lets just about all of its visitors bowl without a mask. There were around 4 useless associates standing in the back watching the visitors, however they did nothing to enforce mask wearing. I understand not wearing a mask while eating or drinking, however to let everyone walk around and play without a mask throughout its facility is crazy! This used to be our go-to bowling place for a last minute bowling outing, but on my last two visits I became uncomfortable with the adult/alcohol situation. We have been here several times and I think the best way to describe it, is average, at best. There are no bells and whistles but the basics are covered. My real issue is for a family-centered place, the full running bar, needs better management. On several occasions, last one included, drunk patrons have tried to overstep boundaries while bowling side-by-side. I understand alcohol probably brings in revenue, but when there are families and many children around, they may want to reconsider the alcohol-bowling-arcade dynamic. The place is full of underage patrons, from toddlers to 17-18 year olds. On one occasions, while watching my daughter play in the arcade I heard an underage teen ask a slightly older (at least 21) yo to buy them alcohol. After seeing some of the reviews i was hesitant to come to celebrate my birthday especially as we live 2 hours away but figured id give it a try. We went for the family time arrived at 5 and the staff was wonderful and very helpful. The bowling alley was very clean and organized. When the ball or pin got stuck they were quick to help us. My kids especially loved when the lights were turned down and had the disco lights going. Let me say it was a blast very happy we came here and will definitely come again. Came for some birthday bowling and had a great time! There was quite a bit of a wait but if its that busy it must mean they're doing something right. Regardless the guy with the fancy hair at the front desk was a great help even guiding our group on choosing the better deal so that we would have the most of our bowling time. Clean and well upkept bowling alley that I would for sure go to again. Also check out the bar! I go bowling every Friday after work. The staff and regulars are very friendly. The lanes are great especially compared to other bowling alleys in the area. Corbin Bowl is terrible! I recommend going to the attached restaurant if you want to grab a bite while you bowl. The food is pretty decent and the servers there are always helpful and kind. read more

Winnetka Bowl is as good as it gets for bowling in the valley. Corbin Bowl is a little more ratchet, if that's what you're looking for, but Winnetka Bowl is great too. I wish they would dim the lights more late at night while you bowl and play a little more ratchet music though, lol. They have recently remodeled this place (recently meaning, first time I've seen it like this =P). Finding the right ball is absolutely impossible here. The balls are all over the place and no logically color coding by weight. If you get an alley for an hour, be prepared to spend 1/4 of it looking for the right ball. I came here with cowokers and was pleasantly surprised by the looks of the new facility. We asked them to set up a buffet style table for us. We chose chicken and beef tacos and all the typical sides. They were kind enough to set it up in advance, but we had to remind them a few times about missing items. If you are tired of bowling they have a small arcade, pool tables and bars. From what I was told, they have a DJ on the weekend too. read more

Went there earlier with my friend because she got Groupon. It said in the Groupon it's up for 6 people. The lady that helped us there gave us attitude which I didn't understand at all. She was an older lady, shoulder length hair and wore glasses. The place wasn't even that packed when we first arrived. Then another friend came in from our group and she tried to rent shoes for her son. The same lady asked her which lane she's on. And when my friend pointed to our group she said: "I knew they will cheat when they use Groupon". That lady told her co-worker and really meant for my friend to hear it. And my friend didn't get it why she said we were cheating and she paid the shoes for $4. If you don't like us to use Groupon please take it out from Groupon, I understand business is hard. But pointing us that we were cheating???? Wow!! First of all, your area is very shady, at least to me. I love the people that works at the restaurant, they are very sweet and helpful. Other than that, I'd rather go to AMF Woodlake. The employee are more friendly and I never heard the incident of the employee talking bad about the customer. I gave the 2 stars because I felt bad about the owner. My friend who invited us felt so bad because of the incident. For the owner, I don't know how you train your employees but please at least ask them to be nice to customers. read more

This is a great place to hangout and enjoy with some friends, Place is very nice and clean. And the service was well organized even when the place is busy at nights when there are specials. They have a groupon specials going aside from the weekly specials, which was not a bad way to get people into the place. I recommend coming in around 8:30pm if your planning to do any of the specials which usually starts at 9pm , so that you can put your name on the waiting list. Every night they usually host a league game so if your planning to hang around around 6 you might have to wait a bit. the reason why I gave this a 3 star is because of an incident that occured at the "bar".... I went there to ask for a cup of water for my little brother while we were bowling and the lady said we don't have water.. which got me confused when there was a pitchers of water right behind her... So i went ahead and bought soda and when I was leaving one of the guys sitting at bar ask for water too and she went ahead and turn around and gave him water!!!! So if your thirsty and need water don't go to the bar.. bring your own or go to the restaurant thats attach to the back of this bowling place and get it there!! read more

Stay away from here after 6PM, especially if you plan on taking kids/family here. Its full of young drunken hot heads looking for a scuffle over anything. Been here several times but this last time left a bad taste where honestly, its not worth it. Cant control peoples bowling etiquette, I understand that and not everyone knows the courtesy to one another in the lane but when you mix alcohol and attitudes, which it seems to be packed with young guys and gals just looking to start trouble for no reason. Security does a good job at keeping underage drinking at bay, but they may need additional security to monitor the lanes. Again, been here on multiple occasions but this last weekend was a deal breaker for me. My nieces and nephew tried cleaning our lane and putting the balls back on the rack were met with drunken attitude and tension. As we were leaving, said group tried to instigate a scuffle and its like guys, i'm 1 man with 3 teens. So, not personal against this alley just my assessment of the last several visits. Just got home from bowling here today with 4 friends. Purchased from groupon so it was very affordable. But if you or you're friends will take the game serious or are the slightest bit competitive then this isn't the place for you. Nice place, nice staff and nice bowling balls. But there machine that keeps score is messed up.(At least on lane 27 and 28) In my 2 hrs of play my party had to rebowl a frame because of malfuntions about 10 times a game so it made it impossible to keep track of our real score. Balls would stay behind the pins for frames at a time without rolling back to us forcing us to use a different weight. Overall very disappointing. read more

This last time we noticed that the system has been update so its much nicer looking and user friendly. The snack area is also very clean and Maria was really helpful with getting everyone their orders out quickly. Val completely ruined my experience tonight. I hadn't eaten dinner as I came here after work and was told I was hogging the lane because I was eating. Later that night I decided to take my pal for his first drink at a bar and when we came back they had closed out our lane while we still had 1.5 games to complete that I paid for. After confronting her she accused me of holding the lane so I could get the special price without having to wait. After a small argument she gave me one game and told me afterwards she would not assist us until we got in line and waited as if I wanted to bowl with a tired arm. She refused to give me her name but on the way out the lovely gentleman at the snack bar gave it to me. Perfect way to treat a customer that has just returned to the sport after three years. I'm not a bowler. The last time bowled was over a year ago. This place reminded me of the early 90s. The service? I guess you could say "It is what it is". I was told it was updated so I'm glad I went there after the upgrade. I can't imagine how it was like before what I saw. The area itself didn't seem safe. I asked the bartender for sparkling water and her first response was that she didn't know if they carried sparkling water. It's a bar. Seriously, it's a bar!! There was no place to put our shoes so we just chucked them under the chairs. I guess that's a normal thing to do. I'd think there'd be a better system to go about it. Talking about system, their button control system definitely loses to the touchscreen systems many of the modern bowling alleys use. Takes a long time to enter names and fix errors. The balls were pretty sad. Some had so many gashes in them I thought it was time to retire them. read more

I've been bowling here since it was Canoga Bowl. Now I take my kids (age 2 1/2 - 11yrs old) and they have the most accommodating, friendly staff. Incredibly sweet to the little ones. Everyone (staff and bowlers) are neighborly. Prices are so reasonable and in the summer you can take advantage of their "kids bowl free" program. You just pay for grownups and shoe rentals. It's clean, well- maintained, has a welcoming atmosphere, fun for the entire family. And again, just the nicest staff. You kind of feel like family when you come in. read more

Went there for a work event and and despite passing by this place almost every day, I've never really went in. Got there and we were able to get our lanes in right away. Shoes picked up and they're run a great shape. Food was good for a bowling ally. Pizza was fresh and corn dogs were AWESOME actually. I can't believe the amount of unprofessionalism and disrespect that myself as well as my sister in-law injured this past Friday night! Went into the Cafe to be told almost an hour before they were set to close that there was take out ONLY. Even though there were people sitting down eating. So okay. Maybe it was too close to closing time for them. So we went to the bar to get a drink while we waited for our food. We sat in the bar. Only to not be served. The people to the left of us. To the right of us. All around us were served! The 3 people at the bar wouldn't even acknowledge our presence. There was one employee not working at the bar that looked me in my eyes in shock and a nervous laugh. Before we eventually got up and walked OUT. Returned to the Cafe only to see that there were at least 3 additional parties that had been seated to eat. So I asked them about that. We reminded them that they told us we couldn't be seated. Only then we're we allowed to dine in! I love this bowling alley! Me and my family have been going here for YEARS!!!! But now I have to correct myself! I loved! Past tense! We are thinking about seeking legal action. Never have I ever felt so humiliated & upset in any establishment EVER! Ooooh & by the way. We are black. Just makes me wonder. Why? Why were we treated like that? I felt defeated. We were in such shock! Such disbelief & we drove over an hour to get there! It was horrible! First off i rarely leave bad yelp reviews but i Came here last night for my birthday with a bunch of friends. We tried to reserve 3 lanes but for some reason the two girls at the front Valerie and I didn't get the other girls name didn't communicate to each other and told us the lane next to us was broken but we could reserve another lane. So we had 12 people trying to bowl on 2 lanes. Then within 15 mins a couple starts bowling on that lane So I went up and asked why did they not inform us that the lane was working. Valerie proceeded to say that she didn't tell her co worker the situation so they gave the lane to someone else. She wasn't apologetic at all and even at one point got argumentative. I let it go and just went back to bowling. They Valerie had the nerve to walk over to our party and start saying how she thought I was rude and actually started arguing with other people in my party !!! Who does that?? I explained to her that this isn't what customer service is about. Also it was quarter mania and we payed for 10 games yet some reason in between the games the lane would just shut down and go dark. I dunno if Valerie was trying to get back at me or what but it basically ruined my birthday. So thank you Valerie for treating your customers like dirt. We still had fun though but customer service at this location is at an all time low and definitely prevented me from having as much fun and allowing all my party to bowl. I hope who ever manages that alley has a serious talk with Valerie about her customer service and people skills. I don't think I'll be coming back. read more
